The main characters discover that they are extradimensional beings (planeswalkers) after having narrowly escaped death on planet Earth. They go on a journey to explore the universe(s) and to learn more about their past reincarnations while building a relationship with each other.  Note: This is very much a "slice of life," in that, while there is an overall plan for the story, it meanders and varies quite a bit on the way there, and there are often entirely unrelated things that happen, sometimes for chapters and chapters.
