Head Over Kills 4

Roderick was not happy about walking but still kept on doing so. He had seen some carts passing through the same road he was walking on, but none of them gave him a ride. He needed money and most of all, shoes.

By the time he reached to the village, every inch of his skin on feet was bleeding. Stiff thorns had taken a lot from him. And the sun wasn’t kind either.

Being inside the village made him feel better. He knocked on a door and he was surprised to see someone opening the door.

"Can you give me some water, please." Roderick asked and got. He drank till his thirst went away from his throat.

Then only he took time to speak, "Have you seen any headless man walking here?"

The villager said nothing and shut the door. He did not even take the steel glass from Roderick.

Roderick knocked on many houses asking for the headless man, but none of them were willing to talk about him. He did not leave any door un-knocked. Doing so made him thirsty.

He banged his knuckles on another door.

"Can you give me some water? I am thirsty." Roderick asked.

The woman gave him a glass of water.

"Thank you." Roderick said. Like the first person he had asked for water, she did not ask for the glass. Roderick put the glass on her doorsteps and left the village in search of his headless friend.

About half an hour later, after Roderick's departure, the woman came out of her house in order to take the glass back.

She dropped it when she saw a group of hundreds and hundreds of headless people running towards the village. She closed the door and prayed as the invaders ambushed the village.

Hand of The King pushed the door open of the King's Chamber where King lay on his bed with some women.

"Ladies, get out!" Kingsguard said, even though he knew he was being rude to the king whom he was serving.

King did not get angry as he took a gander at the letter he was holding. Hand of The King closed the door as the semi – dressed women ran from the chamber due to fear of swords.

King took the paper from his hand and read the letter.

"This person who came in the village may be their new leader now." Hand of the King said. King threw the letter on the floor.

"Summon more soldiers around the city walls." King ordered and left his chamber.

"Your majesty, you shouldn’t walk." Hand of the King said to the injured king and followed.
