Head Over Kills 1

The pit where Roderick was stuck in wasn’t a deep pit after all. Neither it was like a quicksand nor any of his body part between stones or so.

Damn! This happened because I didn’t choose a right movie to watch. Why didn’t I drink more coffee? He cursed himself from the muddy surrounding and tasted mud once in a while. On the open sky, which was nothing for him than a blue circle above him, he saw birds fly.

Clouds came, changed shapes and went but still Roderick hadn’t managed to get out of there. The thing he feared the most was not being able to get out of there. He remembered the wizards' curse vividly and knew what the consequences were going to be if he was unable to do anything at all.

Let me get out of here. How hard can it be to fulfill someone's dumb wish? Roderick told himself. The thing which confused him was about his location. Was he on earth or somewhere else? He had no idea about it.

He heard some sounds of animals around the pit. Then there was the noise of shoveling.

"Help!" Roderick yelled at the person digging, "Get me out of here please." The one who was supposed to do a task for someone else was begging for help himself.

He didn’t get disappointed though. A hand came inside the pit. It touched his face.

"Yes, yes. This is me." He said, "And this is my eye you are about to poke." He closed his eyes and felt the nails on his eyelids.

Roderick caught his hand. The man pulled him without any trouble. When he got out then realized depth of the pit. It was about seven feet, just a feet taller than him.

Wizard had given him an interesting curse.

As he turned back to see the face of man who had helped him then he wished to get back in the pit.

He was rescued by a headless man. Roderick panicked and clutched the shovel. He gave some swings towards it but missed every time.

"What are you? Another monster pal of that wizard?" Roderick asked all the while he was looking to hit the headless man.

The boy did nothing and just kept standing at his direction. He could see Roderick even though he did not have eyes. He was shirtless but the pant looked medieval. When Roderick was done with attempting to kill the headless thing then he realized he too was wearing medieval attire.
