They call me Morgana. I used to live in a house in the middle of the forest, and if I were to tell you the truth, it was really boring.
There was only one thing that was interesting there. William.
He was an old mage. Living on top of his tower that he build. Sometimes he did not leave it for weeks and when he did, it was just to buy some stuff that he needed to live.
People called him mad. Living alone, reading books and trying to make impossible happen. Trying to make a spell of eternal youth.
I've met him for the first time when he went to my house trying to borrow some paper and ink. He looked like a man that still belived that mages have long beards, and pointed hats. He looked almost like the time has stopped for him.
When I happily gave them to him, he didn't even thanked me and he just quickly ran to his tower.
After that we met from time to time. Those meetings were never long but they were always funny. Sometimes in the middle of the night you could hear "Eureka" from his tower, just to see him crying in the morning.
It was a routine for me.
But now he succeeded.
And now I was traveling with him.
"So, miss? Will you take it?" I was asked by a stall owner who was holding a backpack in his hand.
I was buying some gear for us. After our talk in the inn we decided to go on an adventure but if we were to travel, we needed to be prepared.

I was going to buy some necessary things and William went to but himself some new clothes. Although I liked his dress, he needed traveler's clothing, not something that would get in his way.
"Are you listening to me?" he said angrily.
"Yeah, I will take two of them." I said and gave him the money. Whe he saw it, he made a big smile and bringed me two backpacks.
They were looking good. One of them was a little bit smaller, but I won't be wearing this one.
After receiving them I turned away, and saw the pride of this city. It's market.
Jerven wasn't big but it attracted many people. It had a lot of shops and the biggest market you can find. You couldn't call yourself a true mercahnt If you did not trade in this city. And now I was standing in the centre of it.
All I could really see were countless stands, and in each one of them something different. People selling clothes, food, weapon and other things. They were colorful and beautiful, and each of them had someone shouting everywhere, telling you to buy their goods.
But I didn't care.
I didn't care because I knew what kind of people they were. The same kind that would call you mad if you weren't the same as them.
Ignoring them, I went to look for William. He was supossed to be in a shop that specialized in selling goods for travelers. After leaving the market I walked into the streets. I was surrounded with many buildings, all of them made of wood but the didn't look bad at all. They were painted in bright colors. It seemed that people living here were living a good life.
Not much time has passed and I was standing near the entrance of the shop. One, in wich William was buying his clothes. There, leaning against the wall was standing a man. He had a white armour and a beatiful sword. He didn't looked bad. He even was quite handsome. Short hair, big and blue eyes. A lot of women love men like this.
"Why are you here?" I asked, and he looked at me.
"Oh, you are the one from before. I saw your friend and I accompanied her here. You are Morgana aren't you? She told me about you."
Another idiot thinking, that he knows everything.
"Well you can go now. There's no need for you to be here." I said and he straightened up. He looked at me for a moment and then he sighed.
"Have I done anything wrong?"
"You just don't understand anything." I said and heard the door open.
