Mages belive that we are nothing but specks of dust in this universe.
That our choices doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things.
I used to say that this is too pessimistic but now I can understand it all.
"How do you like it?" I was asked by a shop owner. She was a young girl that looked really impressed after looking at me.
After winning a large sum of money I went with Morgana to many shops.
Sadly they didn't sell mage's robes in my size.
It would be weird if they did.
"I think she loves it." Morgana replied and smilled.
It would be weird for her not to smile.
It was her idea to come here.
I looked at the big mirror in the shop. There I was. Looking more like a fairy than a mage.
I was wearing a short, green dress with a lot of frills and bows. In hair I had some kind of ornament that looked like a butterfly.
"It's such a cute kid. You should buy those clothes immediately! I will give you a discount!"
"Oh really? Aren't you happy "Iris"?" Morgana said to me while stroking my head.
Don't use this name ever again. Just don't.
"I will go and pay. Stay here and behave. Okay "Iris"?"
After she left with my money I could only think about one thing.
Turning back to my normal self in those clothes. When I thinked about it...
"I'm back! Why are you shivering?"
"No reason. L-Let's just go."
And we left.
When we went outside we were greeted by a beautiful night. The streets were dark and empty. Only few people were strolling in the city. Some of them were looking at me which made me even more nervous.
"We can't go to your "sworn enemy" right now. It's night so I don't think they will let us in. For now let's just find a place to sleep."
I didn't wanted to wait any more but I felt really tired. I never knew that buying clothes may be so exhausting.
"Okay." I said quietly.
After a few minutes of searching we found an inn.
Upon entering it we saw few people talking at their tables.
The place didn't looked bad. At the counter we saw an old man. When he saw us he waved at us and smilled.
"Wait here for a moment. I will go and pay for a room for us." Morgana said and went to the man.
While she was talking with him once again I looked around. People there looked happy and cheerful. Some of them were eating and others were playing poker. Perhaps I could make some more money if I played with them but I was feeling too sleepy to think about it.
When I was looking around I saw a man that was looking at me. He was wearing a big, white armour and at the waist he had a beautiful sword.

He had short, dark hair, big, blue eyes and now he was staring at me.
"Something happened? You don't look well." Morgana said after returning.
"It's nothing." I replied and turned away from the man.
"Okay then. We have one room upstairs. Come with me, I will show you." she said and started walking.
I went after her trying not to turn around and shortly after we were in our room.
It wasn't big but it looked really comfortable. There was only one problem.
"There's only one bed. Maybe it's a mistake."
"It's not."
"What? Why?" I replied surprised.
"Ah, don't be like this. It's cheaper this way and we're both girls anyway."
"We are not!"
Well I said it but after a moment we were lying in bed together. I was too tired to argue with her and I just wanted to rest for a little.
Before I fall asleep I thinked about this weird man. I didn't knew why he was staring at me but he looked really serious. Maybe he knew about my spell? I couldn't figure it out. Not when I was so sleepy. Shortly after, I fell asleep.
When I woke up I was greeted with a nice smell. When I looked in his direction I saw Morgana eating some kind of soup. When she saw that I wasn't sleeping she showed me the second plate and told me to eat with her.
After eating we talked for a little and then we went to the building where the tower was placed.
There were no problems whatsoever. All the guards after looking at my outfit leted me go whenever I wanted. Maybe they thought that I was a child of someone rich or powerful.
When we were near the entrance of the tower one of them stopped us.
"Sorry, but you can't go there." he said while slightly covering the door.
"Why?"
"Here lives Aaron. He's a great mage and we can't disturb him when he's working. No one entered this tower for a few weeks and no one will if he won't allow it."
Well it was a good argument. When I was doing my research sometimes I didn't leaved my tower for weeks. But I needed to speak with him.
"Do you know who you speak with?" Morgana said while I was thinking.
What does she think about?
"N-no?" he answered and stepped back a little.
"Did you hear him "Iris"? He doesn't know who he talks to!" she said with anger. Well it migh work but you could really change this name.
"Well, now he will lost his job. It's a shame." I said and looked at the guard.
He was looking really confused. After a moment of thinking he just opened the door and apologized to us.
After that we started climbing the tower.
I felt a little bad about what we did but the end justify the means, or something like this.
After climbing up we knocked on the door.
"No one is saying anything." Morgana said and looked at me.
"Let's wait a little longer."
Well, it looks like she didn't wanted to wait because she just opened the door and walked inside.
"What are you doing!" I said and followed her.
What we saw didn't looked like a normal tower of a mage. There was no furniture inside, only one table with a letter on it. When I was calling Aaron, Morgana started reading it.
"What does it say?" I asked after checking that we were the only ones in this tower.
After hearing what I said Morgana started reading the letter.
"I was bored so I teleported my stuff and myself to the farthest city of Birpolis. I am looking for an adventure now so don't look for me. I don't know when I will come back. Signed - Aaron."

"Cheer up! He can come back tomorrow, who knows."
"Y-Yeah." I replied to Morgana who was trying to make me feel better.
We were coming back to the inn now. After reading this letter I couldn't think positively. Was I supposed to be in this body for the rest of my life? How long is it anyway? It was a scroll of eternal youth.
As we were aproaching the inn Morgana stopped me and grabbed my hand.
"What... ?" I asked but she just covered my mouth.
"It's too quiet." she said silently and took her hand from my mouth.
I thought she was too cautious but after a moment I realised what she was talking about.
Suspicious men were looking at us. There were maybe 5 of them.
When they noticed that we saw them one of them came over to us.
"As we were told, two women are staying in this inn and one of them looks like she has a lot of money." he said and looked at me.
As we were told? Who told them?
I thinked about this for a moment and then I thought about this man from the inn. It must be him! That's why he was staring at me.
While I was thinking Morgan looked at the man who approached us.
"Don't do anything stupid." she said calmly but the man just laughed.
"Stupid? What are you tal..."
"Stop!" he was interrupted.
When I looked at the person who said it I saw the same man from the inn. Big white armour and beautiful sword.
Why was he here? Does he want to help those thugs? He looks strong but I don't think he would be able to fight us. As I was thinking about this he grabbed the man that was threatening us and throwed him away.
"I am the protector of all women! If you want to fight, fight with me!" he said and drew his sword.
Well, that was unexpected.
