“Hey! Why won’t you come inside?” I heard familiar voice. It was an innkeeper. He had a small place that was placed near the main road. It wasn’t fancy but I liked it.

For some reason this man really liked me. Of course I wouldn’t say that I’m a bad person, but it was weird for me that he cared about me so much.

“Do what you want, but if you get cold just come inside.” he said and closed the door.

Yeah, it was cold. It was late, and we had a really cold winter, but I needed to wait in this place. The reason was simple.

I was here for one reason. To kill a demon that couldn’t be controlled. Many times I was asked to do things like this, but it was different. This time it was a demon that asked me to kill another demon. At first I thought it was a joke, or even a trap, but after her explanations I believed her.

She told me that a strong demon has gone mad, and that even hell have some problems with dealing with this. Of course I wouldn’t help them, if he didn’t threaten humans.

“Don’t say things like this. I’m here to help.” I replied, and she smiled once more.

“If you will smile like this I will fall for you.” I thought to myself, but I didn’t say this. After that we went after the rogue demon.
