"You like me? You mean like a friend?" was the only thing I could say. 

Still, Arthur must be a really friendly person. To like somebody you just met so much, to want to travel with him. I can't understand people like that at all. Well, I don't really have many friends but I don't think that I am that alone. Oh, to be young again.

"No... It's not..." he replied with a weird expression. 

There's no need for words young one. Let this old man teach you. I too, once wanted to travel with companions whom I trust and love. There is nothing to feel ashamed about. 

"You are a great friend Arthur. To be able to travel with a friend like this would be an honor. I will welcome you to my party!" I said proudly. To be able to fulfill someone's wish. A wish that you once had. 

This is a great feeling. 

"You heard her Arthur? You are a great friend!" Morgana said with a weird smirk. I really can't understand her but her words are true. 

"Yeah Arthur. Friends forever!" I said to him with a lot of energy. 

When you become old you need to think about young people. Of course, I wouldn't want my secret to be found out. But not to listen to someone, who thinks of me as a friend? I can't do that. 

"Look "Iris", he's crying. He must be so happy!" Morgana said with a smile so wide, that it seemed a litte bit creepy. 

"I... I..." he only said, looked at me and then he ran away into into the city. Wasn't he happy to be able to travel with us? It's hard to understand young people these days.

As I was thinking Morgana looked into the direction that he ran away, and grabbed her chin. She looked to be thinking about something really hard. After a moment she started speaking.

"He wasn't ready." 

"What do you mean?" I asked her, and she looked right into my eyes.

"Traveling can be dangerous. A lot of beasts can be found on roads these days. He is too young and inexperienced."

"Ahhh..." I could only reply. 

It makes sense. We all want to see the world. We wall want to live our lifes to the fullest. But it can be scary, sometimes even dangerous. It's not something to feel ashamed about if you can't handle risk like this. 

"Don't worry. You will fulfill your wish someday." I said, even if I knew that he was too far to hear me, and I ignored Morgana that looked like she was going to suffocate for some reason. 

After that we left the city. We used the gate that was placed one the other side of where we came from. All we could see there were fields full of flowers and grass. In the distance you could see mountains. If we can pass them we will be able to see the capital city - our goal. After that we started walking.

The road was easy and it still felt really safe. Well it was still near the city.  

But as hours were passing, I began to feel really tired. This body wasn't really great for traveling. 

"Can we take a break?" I asked Morgana and she agreed with me. 

It will be hard to get anywhere like this, but I don't want to overdo it. 

"You think we will be able to even get to the capital city?" I asked Morgana as I sat on the ground. 

"It might take a while but I don't think it will be a problem. We can always find some carriage that is going this way, and ask them to take us." she said and took some food from her backpack. 

She was always calm. I could learn a lot from her. 

We took about half an hour break. We spent it mostly on talking and eating because we hadn't had a meal for a long time. 

"Think you are ready?" she then asked me and I got up. 

We needed to go a long way. There was no way that we could just sit in one place for a long time. As I was thinking about it I heard a loud howl. It was so loud that I even needed to cover my ears. 

When it finally ended I looked at Morgana. It was my first time to see her so serious. 

"A monster is near." she said and I prepared myself for the fight.
