I started hanging out with Ella. More often we’ve been together, and Kristine joins us from time to time whenever she has time.

I’ve never thought of having him in my life, but since that day, I realized that the woman instinct inside me triggers.

I feel there’s something in him that I won’t find in Chesca. And these addled feelings still lingers. Whenever he’s around, I feel a bit happy.

“Did you have fun today?”

Exiting the cinema booth, Ella asked me as we walk side by side. His outfit didn’t change; still wearing girl’s clothes same as me.

When we’re hanging out, he always dressed up like this. I wonder what makes him start doing this?

“Yeah, I’ve had fun today. Thanks, Ella.” I answered with a smile at him. Today is Saturday, we’re both having day off at school.

Ella nods to my response as we keep walking. “Don’t you have work today?” I asked. He glances at me and smiles. “I do, but decided to take a day off since today’s an important day.”

“Huh?” I asked. Ella grabs my hand out of a sudden, our fingers intertwined. “I told my manager that I’ll go to a date with a gorgeous girl I met.”

Huh? What is he... “Eh?” I utter out of surprise. “Today, I’ll spend my entire day with you.”

We both stopped from walking as Ella faces me. “I want to enjoy a day with you. Together...”

“Uh, uhm...” I bashfully replied. My face feels hot after his statement. What is he trying to say?

“Don’t you want to have a date with me?” Ella asked. My head shakes sideways to disagree from his question and firmly holds his hands.

“I do. I do want to have a date with you. Because I feel happy when you’re around...”

That’s right; eince that day... I decided to face these feelings of mine towards him. Whether this might just be an admiration, or a real feelings of a maiden to a guy, I want to know.

“Then, let’s go get going—”

“Jessie?”

A familiar voice suddenly interrupts, making me jolt out of surprise. I wasn’t expecting someone to see today, but out of all the people to meet… the person who I have always been loving from afar stands right before me.

“Che—Chesca?”

My voice stuttered. Both Ella and I looked at the woman standing in front of us. “Jessie…”

She seemed baffled; looking at us both with scrutiny and surprise on her face. “Hi. Uhmmm...”

The sudden feeling of awkwardness engulfed both of us as I quickly let go of Ella’s hands. However, Ella didn’t let go of me. “Hi.” he greeted.

To my surprise,I tilt over to look at him and give a hint that we shouldn’t show any affection to each other.

“You are?”

“Oh, I’m Ella… Jessie’s ‘girlfriend.’”

Chesca’s eyes widened after she heard Ella’s reply and looks at me. “Huh?! Wha—what’s the meaning of this?!”

Her gaze turns to me. Her piercing eyes stabs me like she’s pointing a knife.

“Uh... Chesca.” I utter.

“Uhm... guys, why don’t we have a talk over coffee? My treat?” Like a person intermingling between arguments, Ella offers.

“Fine, I want to know something about you as well, Jessie.”

What now? Does Chesca know my true nature? I don’t know what will happen to me. Will our friendship be over after this?
