Chapter 300

The caregiver clearly hadn't encountered anything like this before. What made it worse was that Craig had only just woken up-not long ago, he'd been at death's door.

Everyone knew he couldn't afford to get too worked up. But seeing his furious state now, the caregiver didn't even dare to calm him down.

However, Noelle remained calm. After enduring the burning pain on her lower leg, she continued walking toward him.

Craig clearly hadn't expected her to shamelessly approach despite everything. He grabbed the cup in his hand, ready to throw it at her again. But before he could, Noelle firmly pressed his hand down. Then, she turned to the caregiver and said, "Leave us for now."

The caregiver, already feeling out of place, let out a sigh of relief at Noelle's words and promptly left the

room.

Noelle turned to look at Craig. "So, I take it you've heard about the situation at the company?

"What do you think? I knew it! I just knew it! What kind of person is Hendrix? The moment he handed the Continental Reach project to you, it was all a setup! Was this something the two of you planned together? Just to bring the company to this day"

"Elm Group's downfall isn't because of the Continental Reach project," Noelle interrupted, her voice calm and steady. "The ones you should be blaming are Julio Garcia and yourself."

Hearing this, Craig became momentarily stunned.

"What did you just say?" His voice dropped, and he began to form a rebuttal, but Noelle didn't give him a chance,

"Isn't it true? If Julio hadn't embezzled such a huge amount of money and broken the entire funding chain, would Elm Group be in this position today? And you your blind trust in him makes you just as responsible. Look at the mess now-shareholder rights in shambles, bad debts piling up.

"Isn't all of this the result of your years of negligence? While you were busy ingratiating yourself with others and offering me as a bargaining chip to secure benefits, did you ever stop to think that you would end up like this one day?" Noelle delivered her words in one unbroken breath.

Craig was dumbfounded, but he quickly burst into laughter

"So, you've finally found your chance, haven't you? How long have you been holding these words in? How I run my company is none of your business! And as for Julio, do you really not know why he suddenly ran off with the money?

"If it weren't for Hendrix setting him up, taking him to those parties, and introducing him to those fund players, would he have fallen in with them? This whole thing was Hendrix's plan from the very start!" This part, Noelle hadn't known, but she wasn't surprised in the slightest.

Julio had been with the company for many years, and even curing his time as the general manager in Vinton City, he'd never caused any major issues. For him to suddenly create such a massive problem, something significant must have changed in his personal life.noveldrama

The mention of fund players likely referred to the group from Mondivera's Haven Street. Back when Noelle and Hedrix were still married, she had been aware of his connections with those people.

She had never pried into it, though. While that crowd was kown for their wild lifestyles, Hendrix had always been rational and measured in his dealings with them. So at the time, she hadn't felt any need to worry.

But Julio was different. Once someone got involved with that crowd, it was a bottomless pit-without billions of dollars in wealth, they wouldn't even be able to stay in the circle.

The question was, when had Hendrix brought Julio into that world? After she decided to marry Dylan? Or after their fallout?

Noelle thought for a moment, and the answer she came up with was-probably not.

This wasn't something that could happen overnight. Julio had been in the business world for quite some time, so convincing someone like him to take the plunge would have required far more time and effort from Hendrix.
