Chapter 630:
“Don’t quit halfway…”
And then his lips were on hers before she could even finish. Their chemistry ignited, both of them moving in sync, each touch, each breath, fueling the growing fire between them.
In bed, Kellan was a force. If she took the lead, he met her move for move, thrusting deeper, his hands pinning her wrists with a fierce tenderness. His low whispers in her ear always sent shivers through her.
The Kellan she knew — the polished, composed man — was nowhere to be found. Here he was — so raw and unrestrained.
“Say my name, Allison,” he murmured against her skin.
Allison was lost in the moment.
She panted, her body feeling like it had no bones.
“Kellan…”
Just a soft moan, yet it awakened the beast in him.
The kiss that followed was deeper, more desperate.
Kellan, like a drummer with perfect rhythm, kept the passion alive, never losing pace.
By the time they finished, she was too spent to even lift a finger. Her head lolled back, and she shot him a weak smile. “Carry me to the bathtub, clean me up before we sleep.”
He kissed her forehead, his hands slipping under her as he scooped her up. “My pleasure.”
But once they reached the bathroom, things took a different turn.
“Allison, how about one more round?”
Exhausted, Allison could only shake her head, though a smile played on her lips.
She had lost count of how many times she’d surrendered to him in the tub.
He was a charming scoundrel, a master of seduction, making it impossible for her to resist.
The next morning, Allison stirred awake, blinking as sunlight poured through the curtains, spilling a warm, golden glow across the room. The bed beside her was already empty, cool to the touch — Kellan had been up for a while. Yawning, she stretched, then slipped on her slippers and padded downstairs, following the scent of something delicious wafting from the kitchen.
There, as she expected, was Kellan, working hard at the stove. “Good morning, Mr. Lloyd,” she greeted, rubbing a sleepy hand over her eyes. Kellan was standing at the stove, his broad shoulders filling out his casual apron. Faint red marks on his skin hinted at the prior evening’s intimacy, making his rugged presence even more irresistible. Allison settled at the dining table, propping her chin in her hand as she watched him.
“So, when did you sneak out of bed?” she asked.
“An hour ago,” he replied, placing two plates of sandwiches on the table. “Go ahead, see if these pass the taste test.” He seemed to be in a particularly good mood.noveldrama
