I entered there, harnessing my power to leap onto the walls. From up there, I could see the soldiers rushing towards the bright light emanating from a large blaze on the eastern side, providing me with an opportunity to enter through one of the wide-open doors after disguising myself with their white-green uniforms. As long as they don't notice my ears, I should be safe.
Now, where is their storage warehouse?
Euna only told me it's here, but didn't provide more details about its exact location. I guess I have to find it myself. I hope I won't take too much time, or things might go awry.
The place I am in now is a long corridor, wide enough for only two adults to walk side by side, so I must avoid encountering anyone here, or they'll immediately notice my disguise.
Suppressing my anxiety, I continue to tread through this massive fortress.
I've already entered three rooms, two of which were storage rooms filled with wooden boxes of unknown contents, and the last one was a spacious dining hall with enough space for two long tables and seven chairs on each side.
Several times, I almost got caught by the running soldiers. Fortunately, they were more interested in the eastern side of the fortress, so they didn't pay much attention to me, only ordering me to hurry and assist them there, which, of course, I didn't do. I simply nodded, waiting for them to disappear at the end of the corridor before continuing my journey.
However, I still haven't found the place; it's as if the warehouse isn't here but somewhere else entirely.
Could Iona be wrong? But she's Elecya's best informant.
I shake my head, trying to stay positive despite the doubts creeping into my heart.
Suddenly, from behind, I hear the shouts of soldiers accompanied by the sound of magical explosions. I run forward, avoiding the area where a chaotic battle is unfolding.
My only task is to find Glory and get back to the bar. I can't get involved in the elves' troubles with whoever is attacking, or else Zhao and Wei might get involved as well. I don't want to cause any trouble for them.
With determination, I hurry along the corridor on the right, seeing no one there but finding lifeless elf bodies with stab wounds in their chests. Their blood creates fresh red puddles on the floor, giving a new pattern to the white carpet stained by the splatters.
Slowly, I avoid the bodies and the red fluid, not wanting to leave a trace that could lead someone to follow and capture me.
As I'm about to sidestep the fourth body in the middle of the corridor, something catches my eye. Something like a piece of iron, reflecting light from a floating Light Orb not far from the ceiling. The iron has the same color as the walls, making it hard to spot if not for the scratches on it, possibly caused by the elf sword under my feet when they faced the attacker.
I press the iron with instinct, but it doesn't budge at all, leaving me feeling disappointed with myself.

Why did I think elves have buttons like in my world? They have magic, of course—
I quickly grab the nearest sword, touching it to the iron plate, and as I suspected, a door appears, formed by beautiful greenish light.
I step inside, finding myself in a different place, much larger and broader than the rooms I encountered before. The entire room is made of white stone, so smooth, adorned with beautiful carvings in elegant arches. It's nothing like the kingdom of Elecya, where almost everything is made of wood.
There is only one flaw in this vast room.
Empty.
There is nothing inside. Truly just a beautiful white room, yet it makes the heart feel uneasy as if something is silently staring.
I step forward, observing left and right, trying to find what I might have missed. But even in the middle, there is nothing, as if this room is not used or ever visited.
Then why is its entrance located within the elven fortress?
There must be something missing, something that perhaps only elves can see.
However, suddenly, the carvings on the floor emit a blue light, with me at the center. They crawl and continue to spread until all the carvings in the room are brightly illuminated.
An energy explosion occurs, accompanied by a loud sound like a bass thump that slightly makes me dizzy as the sound seems to enter my head. At the same time, particles of light begin to form around me, forming lines that then enter into a circle above.
"Zent A bzzt- Welcome to Arcain, a place where ancient weapons have been stored since the beginning of this world. With your arrival here, it means the world is on the brink of danger and will soon be destroyed due to the presence of a creature that will never stop devouring, to satisfy its insatiable hunger.
We are Hexas, beings created to bring heroes from each world to help you save this dimension from it. Unfortunately, these beings cannot die. When they are injured, they will escape to another dimension and return to devour the worlds they find. Hmm, it seems you have already met two of them, Celine and Zhao Feng. I didn't expect you to find them so quickly; that's good. The plan can be executed much faster."
It would be more accurate to say, 'they found me' rather than me finding them.
A blue hologram appears in front, showing an alien obelisk with ten cube-shaped holes at the bottom.
"This is called the Beacon. This device is used when the ten keys - Glory, as you mentioned - have been gathered. Glory is a key, not a Pandora's box containing powers as you may have thought.
However, the immense power of these cubes can grant you a fraction of what they can actually do, as a security measure by their owner, which unfortunately has been misused by some irresponsible individuals."
Unfortunately, we cannot do anything to the ten cubes because we did not create them. We only built the obelisk as the main bridge for the inhabitants of this world to harness their great power in facing A- BZZZT! It seems we still don't have the ability to pronounce its name," said a sad voice of a man who has not yet revealed herself, sounding like an AI.
"It looks like you have to find out about that creature on your own. But don't worry, once the ten Glories are gathered with the ten heroes, this dimension will be ready to face it. We expect the best from you, Zent."
A Glory appears in front, formed after a bright light burst, making my eyes hurt a little from its brilliance.
"This is the Glory stored in the elf's weapons storage here. That's right, this is their weapons storage that we temporarily used to speak with you, The prophecied her- Ah, I think you'll like it much better like this. The Hero of Destiny.
Guard that key with all your soul, Zent, and quickly gather the other nine keys. We don't know when it will reappear, so you better hurry."
Suddenly, the room becomes so bright, too bright that I have to shield my eyes with the back of my hand, or I fear I might go blind later.
A few seconds later, as my vision adjusted, I found myself back in the previous corridor, right in front of the now disappeared green door. Glory was in my right hand, glowing faintly, and I was momentarily stunned before realizing that I was still not safe.
I looked around, checking for any presence, and hurriedly ran towards the wall. Strangely, during the journey, I no longer heard the commotion or the voices of the soldiers. Instead, this place became eerily quiet, like a graveyard.
Once I reached the top, something I observed made me wonder to myself.
"How long have I been gone?"
