"We must bring them to a safe place first!" Celine's command was interrupted by me as she was about to take a step.
"No, you go and face the creature. I will take them to a safe place and then join you to help!" I shouted as I ran towards the farthest body, lifting the person and running out of the room towards the nearest room that didn't directly face the backyard.
Celine and her two companions nodded in understanding, running out and leaping through the window to join her golem that had been thrown, hitting another side of the palace, causing the entire palace to tremble.
"Okay, so the reason you have that extra power is because you actually have it," Z remarked as I lifted the third person, who was a male servant.
"This is not the right time for jokes, Z!" I replied, raising my voice at the end of the sentence, trying to hold back the frustration that would only waste energy instead of helping me.
"No! That's not it! I mean, you can use it because that power has been within you all along!
Ah, you don't need to know it now, the point is, what I want to say is that you can use your power and combine it with Faker's!" Z exclaimed proudly, as if he had just come up with a brilliant idea.
"Do you think I don't know that? The reason I've been using it on my own is because the burden on my shoulders is too heavy. I don't know what could happen if I use both at the same time," I replied, trying to ignore the fatigue that was starting to take over my body, making my breath heavy.
Z let out a long sigh. "You can share that burden with me, you know. Stop relying solely on yourself and trust the people around you."
"Just say you want to help, no need to add wise words like that," I retorted.
Before Z could reply, the creature suddenly entered the dance hall from above, crashing onto the floor and shattering it. Fortunately, it fell in the middle of the room rather than near the windows. Otherwise, there would have been casualties falling from the height.
The three knights appeared through the window, visibly exhausted from their battle against the creature in front, which was now slowly rising with a dark purple aura seeping out like cold vapor.
"What were you guys doing? We were lucky that the golem didn't hit them!" I exclaimed angrily, forming a mana shield, preparing to face the impending attack.
The large hand struck the mana shield again, making me wonder if it held a grudge against me. Why was I always its target?
Wait... Target? That's it!
"Rayven! Please replace me in carrying them to the empty room in the corridor on the right! I'll lure this monster away!"
Rayven shot several arrows, forcing the golem to raise its left hand to protect its face, as I just realized that its right hand was no longer there. It was completely shattered, leaving only the upper arm. "Are you sure it's safe there?"

"It's the library room! It has been enchanted with protection by the palace residents!" I shouted, battling against the enraged golem, which now seemed to bear a deep grudge, relentlessly staring at me.
"Celine! Rio! Keep attacking while I draw its attention!" I commanded, and they received the order well. "Hey! Faceless creature! Attack me if you dare!" I grabbed a piece of the fallen roof and threw it at the golem's head, creating a small 'clang' sound.
Although the throw didn't harm it at all, it was enough to infuriate it and damage its pride.
I didn't know that golems could possess something like that.
Who would have thought, it turns out that golems are creatures with high ego.
It went berserk, swinging its right arm blindly, hoping to flatten me in the process.
If it weren't for Z's assistance, I might have been flattened into a two-dimensional shape by now.
However, even with Z's help, I could only dodge and defend myself without being able to counterattack. I could only hope that the attacks from the two knights would at least injure this golem. Because my body was on the verge of exhaustion, it wouldn't be long before I fell into the pitch-black darkness and silence called unconsciousness.
I was truly drained of energy.
The only thing keeping me going is the fact that I still have to save these people and ensure that the golem is destroyed before it starts claiming lives.
Celine's golem enters the room, gripping the neck of the black golem, and just as it is about to throw it, the black golem unleashes a massive surge of energy, sending Celine's golem flying out.
The two knights and I are also thrown across the room, while Rayven enters the room as the black golem undergoes a transformation.
Its large box-like body opens up, separating to reveal bright purple cubes of immense power.
Someone is seen in the center of the body, suspended with both hands bound to a large black ring.
Each glowing purple cube grows brighter with a loud buzzing sound before gradually dimming, starting from the outermost side as if being injected into the body.
A hissing sound is heard accompanied by a cold mist that nearly engulfs the entire room.
In less than three seconds, a pair of glowing purple eyes gaze in my direction.
At that moment, I didn't know how to react. In the blink of an eye, the figure was already in front of me, wearing a sleek black outfit with bright purple stripes, as if she came from a technologically advanced future.
I don't know why, but I feel like I know her, like I recognize the woman standing before me.
Suddenly, my head throbs with intense pain, as if something is trying to tear it apart.
I try to hold on, not wanting to appear helpless in front of the enemy.
But the pain multiplies exponentially, causing Z to also feel it and scream out in agony.
I collapse to my knees, still gazing at her, not wanting the familiar figure to attack me when I'm unable to do anything.
However, what happens next surprises me.
Celine rushes in from behind, attempting to save me, even though I feel as if I don't need to be saved. As if I am safe with her.
With that woman.
The woman turns around, facing Celine as if she's protecting me, which I know is impossible. But I get a feeling that's what's happening.
Rio joins Celine, fighting with all their might.
However, the figure is just as strong as the black golem, even slightly stronger now that her body has shrunk and can move swiftly and quickly, overwhelming the two knights.
Rayven, who has finally finished bringing all the captives, joins the battle, turning it into a three-against-one situation.
Meanwhile, I can only watch from behind, observing the fight as if reminiscing about the past...
Has something like this happened before?
"Zent, snap out of it! They need your help!"
Thanks to Z's shout, I manage to refocus on the current situation, pulling myself out of whatever happened a moment ago.
However, before I can assist them, the three of them are already thrown to the other side of the room. Anderson's warriors then emerges, appearing from the shadows to confront the radiant figure.
"TAKE COVER! WE'LL DIE IF WE FACE HER DIRECTLY!"
