Six hours later, Seong impatiently inquired, "Are you ready yet?"
Eun-Jeoung casually replied, "Give me 5 minutes."
Seong couldn't help but think, 'This girl takes a millennium to get ready. How can they stay in the bathroom for that much time?'
Finally, Eun-Jeoung emerged, wearing a stunning yellow dress paired with a gold necklace featuring a jade stone in the middle. "Let’s go," she said.
"Okay," Seong replied, and both of them exited the dorm, heading to the fifth floor where the study hall was. To their surprise, the room had been transformed. The tables were removed, making way for a huge stage with a DJ setup on the side. Delicious food and drinks were arranged for the event.
The room was already quite full by the time they arrived, courtesy of a very specific lady. "Let’s find Amelie," Seong suggested.
Eun-Jeoung teased, "Are you going to ask her out?".
"No, not everyone's mind is fixated on dating," Seong retorted.
“Can you both stop arguing? It's a party,” Amelie intervened, appearing in front of them.
Eun-Jeoung quickly pointed at Seong, saying, “It was him.”
Amelie sighed, “Follow me; I'll take you to a less crowded place.”
They followed Amelie to a quieter seating section further north, where Minjun and Alejandro were sitting. Alejandro sported a zebra-striped suit, while Minjun wore a cyan suit. Both looked like idols. Seong couldn't help but envy their genetic blessings, thinking, 'How can they look so good? If only my genetics were as fortunate.'
“Hello, Seong,” greeted Alejandro.
Seong responded, “Hey Alejandro, hey Minjun.”
“Hello, Seong,” Minjun replied.
“I’ll bring some food, what do you want?” Eun-Jeoung offered.
Seong replied, “Whatever is there.”
“I am fine with anything,” Alejandro added.
Minjun simply stated, “I am not hungry.”
“Me neither,” Amelie added.
Eun-Jeoung nodded and said, “Okay,” before leaving.
Seong wondered, “What are we going to do here?”
Alejandro suggested, “We can listen to music, dance, or play a game.”
"Let's play a game," Minjun suggested, looking bored out of his mind.
Amelie chimed in, saying, "I've got a game." As soon as Seong heard that, he knew this was going to end badly. "Find the person: one of us will give you the person's name, and you have to find that person and take a picture with them in five minutes. If you don't, you have to ask a random person for a dance."
Alejandro raised a valid concern, asking, "What if you don’t know the person they ask you to search for?"
Seong couldn't believe they were actually considering playing this game. ‘Do these people have no fear in asking strangers for a dance? Probably because of their faces, but I am not going to play this game at any cost,’ he thought to himself.
Amelie answered, “You have to pick a person that he knows.”

“Alright, I'll play,” Alejandro said.
Minjun agreed, saying, “Sure, count me in.”
Then, all eyes turned to Seong, waiting to see if he would join. “I'm not playing this dumb game; you just want us to ask people out to dance, don’t you, Amelie?” Seong stated firmly.
“Come on, Seong, stop being a wuss; it will be fun.”
“Seong, I tutored you and haven’t asked for anything, so I'm asking you if you will play this game,” Alejandro urged.
“Fine, but I am not going first,” Seong asserted.
“That's fine; I will,” Amelie volunteered.
“Look for Miss Hana; your time starts now,” Minjun instructed.
Amelie delved into the crowd, and after 3 minutes, she returned with a picture. "Done," Amelie proudly declared.
“I will go next,” Minjun offered.
Before anyone could suggest a person's name, Eun-Jeoung returned with food. “Here's your food,” she said, handing it to Alejandro.
“Thanks,” Alejandro replied.
Seong then said, “Look for Do-Yun.”
Eun-Jeoung questioned, “What are you doing?” while passing the food to Seong.
“Okay,” Minjun said and left. Amelie explained the game to Eun-Jeoung.
“This sounds fun,” Eun-Jeoung remarked after hearing the game.
After 5 minutes, Minjun returned, saying, “I couldn’t find him, so pick who I should ask for the dance.”
Amelie pointed to a girl wearing a jade-colored dress and said, “Ask her.”
“Okay,” Minjun said and asked, “Would you like to have a dance with me?”
“Sure,” the girl replied.
Seong thought to himself, “This is so nerve-racking; how do they do it?”
“Your turn, Seong,” Amelie said with a smile on her face.
“Has Alejandro gone yet?” Seong asked.
“I’ll go after you,” Alejandro replied.
“Okay,” Seong said, feeling stressed.
Amelie said, “Find Ara.”
“Okay,” Seong said and left to find Ara.
After 5 minutes, Seong returned and said, “I couldn’t find her. Who do you want me to ask?”
“The girl wearing the black veil over her face,” Eun-Jeoung suggested.
Seong walked over to the girl and asked, “Do you want to have a dance with me?”
Right at that moment, the song switched to a very romantic one. ‘This world has it out for me, doesn’t it? Why does it have to change now, out of all times to this?’ Seong thought.
The girl in the black veil replied, “Sure.”
Both of them entered the dance floor, which only a few couples were on at the moment because of the song. “Do you know ballroom?” the girl asked.
“Decently,” Seong said, having watched a clip of it when he was in the orphanage.
The girl suggested, “Do you want to give it a try here?”
“Sure,” Seong replied. They got their hands into formation and began to dance. One by one, other couples stopped to watch Seong and the girl dance.
“Woah, they are so in sync. They must be a really good couple,” a student remarked.
Another student added, “They must have spent a lot of time practicing this.”
“Seong can dance?” Eun-Jeoung asked.
Alejandro chimed in, “I didn’t know that, and that well too.”
“Impressive,” Minjun said.
All eyes were on them, amping up the pressure for Seong, who didn’t want to make them look bad. The girl said, “Look into my eyes and forget about them.”
Seong followed her advice, concentrating only on her eyes, and the dance ended flawlessly. The crowd erupted into applause after a few moments.
“Thank you for the dance,” Seong said.
“No problem,” the girl replied and left, and so did Seong, returning to his friends.
Amelie asked, “Why didn’t you say you could dance?”
“I didn’t know that I could,” Seong replied.
Amelie questioned, “So how did you do that?”
“From a video I watched,” Seong explained.
Amelie exclaimed, “You learned a dance from a video!”
“Yeah,” Seong said casually.
All of his friends looked at Seong starstruck, but he didn’t say anything because then it might cause another round of this game.
“Okay, it's my turn, give me a name,” Alejandro said.
Seong said, “Find Yun-Hee.”
“Okay,” Alejandro said before going into the crowd.
Alejandro came back in 4 minutes and showed a picture of Yun-Hee.
“Eun-Jeoung do you want to play” Minjun asked.
“No, I am too shy,” Eun-Jeoung said
“Ok,” Minjun said
Amelie asked, “What do you want to do now? How about another round?”
“No thanks,” Seong said first.
Alejandro added, “I agree with Seong.”
Before Amelie could ask what, they should do, Hwa Young walked up on the stage and said, “I have a few announcements.”
The room fell silent. "Today is very special for Group Dunamis, and I would like to congratulate the main contributor to our win in the first assignment, the student who secured the highest grade."
Seong did not like this; he did not want to go up on stage, but it seemed he didn’t have a choice today. "I would like to call up Seong," Hwa Young said.
Seong walked up onto the stage, took the mic from Hwa Young, and said, “Thank you for giving me this opportunity, Miss Hwa. This assignment was not won by me; it was won by all of us. Every small to big contribution got us here, so I consider this a team effort, and let's win the next win too.” Seong then handed the mic back, and the crowd erupted in applause. He returned to his friends.
“You sure know how to get a crowd to like you,” Alejandro remarked.
Seong replied, “That's just how I am.” They enjoyed the rest of the party and went back to their dorm after it ended.
