Alejandro rose from his seat and began to make his way back towards the entrance when the bartender bellowed, "Hey, you have to pay for that!"
"I have to pay for drinks?" Alejandro questioned, taken aback.
The bartender robot retorted, "Of course, you have to pay. What do you think, this is a charity service?"
'This robot sure has an attitude compared to the rest of them,' Alejandro thought.
"How much is it?" he inquired.
The bartender replied, "One thousand dollars."
"A thousand dollars? Are you insane?" Alejandro exclaimed, shocked by the exorbitant price.
The bartender robot responded calmly, "No, I am not. You should have asked me the price or checked the menu before ordering."
"You never showed me the menu," Alejandro retorted.
The bartender robot, aiming to provoke, replied, "You never asked. Are you going to pay or not?"
Recognizing the futility of further argument, Alejandro sighed and withdrew one thousand dollars from his remaining four thousand. Handing the money to the bartender.
the bartender said "Thank you. Hope you come back." after counting the money.
"I'm never coming back to this trash place," Alejandro replied, expressing his frustration.
Ignoring him, the bartender turned to greet other robots, saying, "Welcome to the bar. What would you like?"
Returning to the entrance, Alejandro heard the rules once more: "The task is to make a million dollars. You start with $10,000 worth of chips and have 2 days. Fail to make the money, and you fail. Go into negative, and you fail."
"It seems there are no rules that prohibit my idea," Alejandro mused. Back in the casino, he grabbed a robot by the hand, dragging it towards the chips dispenser despite its resistance. He pressed the robot's fingerprint on the scanner, and the chips dispensed—not close to millions, but significantly more than he had.
"Sixteen thousand, I guess this is the way to solve this," Alejandro remarked. Unburdened by any sense of shame, considering they were robots, he continued the process. However, when he hit five hundred thousand, a warning blared from the speakers, "There is security in the casino. If caught doing something illegal, automatic failure will occur."
Alejandro contemplated, 'Guess it won't be that easy. I've accomplished more than half of it already, and it's only been two days. I should take some rest.' Deciding to recharge, he made his way to the casino's front desk, inquiring about room availability.
"Of course," the robot at the front desk responded.
"A one-bedroom is fine, and could you tell me the price?" Alejandro asked.
"The room is a thousand per night. Is that okay?" the robot clarified.
With ample funds at his disposal, Alejandro casually replied, "Yep, that's fine." He extracted a thousand and handed it over to the robot, securing his accommodation for the night.
"The room number is 15; you just have to go upstairs," the robot mentioned, handing Alejandro the keycard for the room.

"Thanks," Alejandro acknowledged before making his way upstairs to his designated room. Upon using the keycard to unlock the door, he entered to find a small space adorned with grey bed sheets and a matching carpet. A lone window sat beside the bed. Disgruntled, Alejandro muttered, "This cost me a thousand; what a scam this entire casino is."
Despite his complaints, he still went ahead and jumped on the bed, noting its uncomfortable rigidity. "At least have a good view," Alejandro remarked, peering through the curtain. However, to his disappointment, the window revealed only a pitch-black void, displaying nothing.
"What's the point of having a window if you don't show what's outside?" Alejandro continued to voice his discontent.
Deciding to get some rest, Alejandro settled onto the bed. However, sleep eluded him for the first two hours, prompting him to abandon the bed in favor of the floor.
After a few hours, he commented, "At least I got some type of sleep." Resuming his trial, Alejandro descended the stairs and noticed eight security guards, an addition not present the previous day.
Choosing a more cautious approach, Alejandro refrained from his previous method. Instead, he shadowed the security robots, understanding their patrol pattern. Identifying a moment during their position switch where they were momentarily unobservant, he seized the opportunity.
As he scouted for robots near the coin dispenser, Alejandro anticipated the imminent yelling that would ensue. Seeking an alternative excuse, he pondered, 'How can I approach without triggering an alert?'
At first, Alejandro toyed with the idea of electrocuting them, but lacking any means to do so, a different strategy dawned on him.
"Can you help at the coin dispenser? I can't get it to work," Alejandro inquired.
Typically, the robot would use its software to assess the situation and direct Alejandro to someone who could assist. However, Alejandro chose his moment strategically, asking the question just as the robots were in the midst of switching, leaving the robot with no option but to comply due to its programming.
"Sure," the robot responded, trailing behind Alejandro to the chips dispenser. Seizing the opportunity, Alejandro pressed the robot's fingerprint onto the dispenser.
As the robot began its automated protest, bellowing lines like "Hey, you can't do that!" and "This is illegal!" at a deafening volume, Alejandro took advantage of the room's soundproofing. Alejandro knew this because he left one robot inside and excused himself to the toilet due to an urgent need, he was blissfully unaware of the commotion outside. Confident that the shouts remained unheard, Alejandro knew he had nothing to worry about.
His method worked seamlessly; after five minutes, the robots ceased their vocal objections, seemingly forgetting everything and moved to a different part of the casino. leaving Alejandro free to continue his task. However, as the robot reset its voice lines, an unexpected challenge awaited him.
The robot's account didn't refresh as expected, indicating a discrepancy in the timing of the reset. Facing this unexpected challenge, Alejandro wrestled with the uncertainty of whether he had enough time to complete his method. Engaging in some quick math, he calculated that he would have 999,000 thousand.
'Why the hell did I pay for the room? I've screwed myself so badly. If I had done it one more time yesterday, but I guess I can't keep complaining. I'll have to end this on a gamble,' Alejandro mused to himself. Despite his reservations, he persisted with the same method until he reached his goal, with only 5 minutes left before the trial's conclusion.
He dashed to the roulette table where he had previously played. The robot in charge greeted him, "Would you like to play a game?"
Alejandro responded urgently, "Yes."
The robot inquired, "How much would you like to bet and on what?"
Cutting him off, Alejandro swiftly stated, "A thousand on red," as he was familiar with the routine.
"Okay," the robot affirmed and spun the table. Alejandro's heart raced anxiously. 'Don't fail me, don't fail me,' he silently prayed. As the ball slowed and landed on 32, he exclaimed, "I won, I won! I really won!" Disbelief washed over him as he realized he had completed the trial.
"Congratulations on completing the second door. You may have cut it close, but still congrats. You may go to the waiting room," the voice announced. Alejandro entered the waiting room, waving at Eun-Jeoung.
As Alejandro left, a mysterious man approached the bar and questioned, "You know you shouldn't be here. What are you doing?"
"Why does it matter to you? I'm not interfering with the competition, am I?" the robot retorted.
The man replied, "You are."
"How?" the robot asked.
"First of all, you're not a robot. Secondly, you know what the man will do if anyone interrupts his fun," the man said.
"Okay, I'll come with you," the girl said, removing her robotic makeup and following the man out.
