RAWHHHHH!
Han Ling turned to the sound, a look of annoyance on his face, “Haish, I guess there’s still some monsters lying around…”
Its already been four hours since his physique awoken, Han Ling had cleared 5 dens of wolves and an entire colony of gigantic ants. His body was dyed in blood, yet he calmly cleaned his sword with his cloak, sighing as he looked at his stats.
Name: Han Ling
Physique: Empyrean Zenith (Supreme)
Cultivation level: 3rdth Step Immortal Spirit.
Qi Points: 5230/30,000

“The ranking as I understand starts from Qi Novice, moving up to Spirit Novice, Spirit Master, then to Immortal Spirit? Seems about right.”
Han Ling smiled, happy with his progress. “Alright, time to check out what that sound was.”
His figure blurred.
Lightly standing on a tree branch, Han Ling scanned the ground, slightly surprised to find two humans battling a large horse.
“Hmm… interesting…”
Creature: Frost Hoof
Cultivation Level: 1st rank Spirit Beast
Techniques: Skip. Kick. Charge.
He focused on the two humans, both wearing white robes, both teens looking no older than 13 or 14.
Name: Bai Hua
Physique: Frost Petal Physique (Top 100 Physiques)
Cultivation level: 2nd rank Spirit Novice
Techniques: Petal Frost Strike.
>>
Name Bai Ye Qing
Physique: Frost Embodiment Physique (Top 100 Physiques)
Cultivation: 5th rank Spirit Novice
Techniques: Frost Skin Embodiment.
“Frost physiques, both in the top 100 they must be quite important in their family or sect. Probably siblings.”
Han Ling watched as the pair leaped to the side, the great flaming horse slamming into a tree, turning it into a charred wood. “NEIGHHH!”
The Horse charged down on the male, Bai Ye Qing. He raised both arms not unlike a sumo wrestle, with a loud boom, Bai Ye Qing grabbed the Horse’s freezing head and brought the charging beast to a stop.
“Hua! Now!”
“Petal Frost Strike!” The girl leapt into the air, twisting slightly before launching a powerful sword ray that left a deep gash in the horse’s side.
Then the young man threw a fist at the horse’s head, staggering the great beast. “HA!”
Bai Ye Qing tackled the horse to the ground, “YIELD!” The horse struggled for a bit before freezing up, eyes glaring furiously at the young man. “Yield! You can’t defeat the two of us!”

After a few moments of struggling the horse stopped moving, seemingly begging the two humans. “Hua, do it now.” Bai Hua stepped forward, raising a hand, golden glows surrounded the both of them.
“Oh? She’s going to tame the horse? Interesting…” Han Ling mused silently.
After a few peals of the golden glow, it disappeared and the Frost Horse stood, bowing its head to its new master. “I got it!” Bai Hua laughed, jumping up and down with pure delight. And it was at that moment her happiness shattered.
Growl…
A giant car sized tiger stepped out of the bushes.
“A-A tiger?” Bai Hua stuttered, her face pale white. “Was he hunting the Frost Horse?”
“Sister Hua! Run!” Bai Ye Qing stood in front of her, eyes filled with determination.
Han Ling frowned, inspecting the tiger.
Creature: Thunder Flash Tiger
Cultivation Level: 6th Rank Immortal Beast
Technique: Thunder Roar, Thunder Flash.
“That man won’t survive a single strike.” Han Ling spoke just as the tiger leapt forward in a streak of light, a lightning wreathed claw slamming into the chest of the young man.
“Guh!” with a cough of blood, Ye Qing slammed into a tree, bloody and battered in an instant. “Brother!” Bai Hua couldn’t move, the tiger glaring straight at her.
Then the tiger turned, looking straight at Han Ling on the branch.
“Oh, you wanna fight me?”
The tiger responded with a mouthful of thunderbolts, opening wide, a pillar of lightning bolts flashed towards the man on the branch.
Han Ling raised a palm, the bolts of lightning slamming into the palm, dispersing around the man. With a smile on his face, Han Ling absorbed the powerful bolts, his body wreathing in Lightning.
[Elemental Zenith: Lightning – 20%...21%...22%]
The beam of lightning stopped, the tiger confused as to why this human was a charred lump of meat yet. Han Ling smiled, “Up to 26%, not bad, not bad.”
Han Ling picked Lightning as his first element to master since he’s most familiar with it. A few hours of training with his element only brought him up to a percentage of 20. And even then Han Ling could understand Lightning quite thoroughly, like controlling an arm or a leg.
But a single strike from the Thunder Flash Tiger brought that percentage up to 26%, it was quite incredible.
“Come, try again.” Han Ling smiled, palm still raised at the tiger.
The tiger didn’t understand human words, but he sure as hell understood that smile. “Grrr…” Its jaw opened wide and an even more powerful beam of light slammed into Han Ling’s palm.
Even then Han Ling had a smile on his face, widening at every percentage increased.
Once the beam ended, the tiger was heaving, exhausted from such a powerful attack. A look of despair appeared on the tiger’s face, its eyes quivering and whiskers trembling. Han Ling sighed, “It stopped at 29…” Slightly disappointing, but not unexpected.
“Well, what should I do with you?” Han Ling glared down on the tiger, the creature suddenly shivering intensely from the powerful gaze. “Will you yield or will you die?” Immediately, an immense pressure pressed down on the tiger, and it whimpered as the sight of a great dragon appeared behind the human. The creature understood instantly, lowering its head to the human, not uttering a single sound.
A sign of obedience.
“Good.”
Tri-ring!
[You have tamed Thunder Hide Tiger.]
[You have received Qi Points]
[You have reached 4th Step Immortal Spirit]
Han Ling widened his eyes, “I can get qi points through taming?”
As if answering his question, the system responded…
[Qi points obtained through taming to 10% less than killing]
“Oh that’s quite little actually.” Han Ling then thought for a second, looking at the tiger with a strange gaze.
“Absorb.” The tiger suddenly disappeared into light particles, floating into a rift that opened, disappearing into it.
“Haha! I can store my tamed creatures in my void! Oh this is such a cheat!”
In fact, it was the exact same place as Kapul was.
A rustle came from Han Ling’s left and he turned to the girl, trembling on the ground, staring at Han Ling with an immense shock. “Y-You j-j-just beat the tiger without moving?”
Han Ling smiled, slightly reassuring the girl, “It was just a cat that didn’t know its place, I recommend you heal your brother though.”
“Ah! Of course!” Bai Hua rushed to her brother’s side, uncorking a bottle that had a strange scent and fed it to him. Slowly but surely, his wounds closed and his breathing steadied. Not even 5 minutes after, Bai Ye Qing could speak properly. “Thank you brother, thank you for saving us.”
Han Ling waved his hand, “It was nothing, I wanted to tame the tiger anyway, just so happen I was saving you two.” Bai Ye Qing smiled, “Please allow us to thank you, brother. I’m the son of the Bai family head, Bai Ye Qing.” He gestured to Bai Hua, “This is my little sister, Bai Hua.”
“Greetings to you, young master.” Han Ling frowned slightly at that comment but ignored it, still he couldn’t help but notice the hearts in the girl’s eyes. “Really? Playing hero once and this girl already fell for me? Haish…” Han Ling sighed inwardly, keeping his face straight.
“If there’s nothing else I’ll be on my way.” Han Ling turned, ready to leave. “W-Wait!” He turned, looking expectantly at the pair.
“We want to properly thanks you and hope you can return with us to the Bai Family.”
“And act as your bodyguard?”
“Excuse me?”
“You mean you don’t know you’re being followed?” Han Ling looked past the pair, glaring at one of the bushes. “Hey! It’s not nice to spy on people!”
