It took Han Ling an entire day to eradicate all the bees around the Blasted Islands. While the other ships landed on the island, setting up a base of operations.
Once King Altos has been notified, he sent 10 additional Bold Bronze warships to the islands. He himself went along with the ships.
“I really have to thank you, ambassador. Without your help, we wouldn’t have been able to subjugate the Blasted Islands. I am grateful for your help.”
“Think nothing of it, without your help this process would have taken a few days, I’m lucky there was only a single queen on the island, or I’ll be in trouble.” Han Ling chuckled.
“What do you plan to do now?” “I’ll scout around the island to see what I’ll find. What happened to Basil?” King Altos’s expression soured, “Basil Ratten has been locked up, and his father has been fired from his minister of trades post.” Han Ling nodded, “I’ll leave now then, try not to die.”
He turned his back on King Altos and two black wings unfurled from his back, they flapped downward, and Han Ling burst into the air with a thunderclap, then another sounded as his silhouette disappeared in the clouds.
King Altos gulped, “W-What a powerful form…”
“I guess I’m not the only one with that expression, huh?” Altos turned to find his ragged daughter grinning at her father’s expression of shock. “Ahem! Report?” Aiko’s smile vanished, “We lost a couple dozen men, and at least a hundred are injured, major and minor.” Altos nodded silently, before sighing, “I can’t imagine subjugating an island filled of bees… did you get a good look at his power?”
Aiko nodded, “He’s amazing, he took out a kraken all on his own, without any aid from any of us… then with his winged form he…” She took a while to explain everything, and King Altos face was pale at the end.
“A lightning strike that kills a hundred? And he wasn’t fazed by it? What kind of monster is he…” Aiko was silent, “After killing the queen, he proceeded to exterminate the scattered bees, which I believe numbered in the hundreds…”
King Altos took a shaky breath, “I see, it was a good decision to join hands with him, we definitely wouldn’t want him as an enemy.”
The king and princess stood in silence for a while, Altos glanced at his daughter’s face, “You know, your mother wouldn’t mind you marrying at the age of 15…” Aiko’s expression crumbled, “Damn it, father…”

Han Ling flew around the island, Kuebiko’s eye glowing a bright gold. “Sea’s Hand Barbarossa was the one who conquered the Blasted Islands, renaming them to Sea’s Heart… But how did a string of islands become the powerhouse of the Wave Kingdom?” That was the question many had in the future, but Han Ling has lived 20 years in the future and has a high enough position to be able to gleam the depths of secrets.
“There it is.” Han Ling smiled as he descended onto an island on the North side of the string of islands, a small island right in front of a larger one. There were no trees or wildlife on this island, around a few kilometres long and a few kilometres wide. Han Ling landed on the soil immediately frowning, “The ground here is hard, unlike those on the island…”

“Looks like I found the correct island, nice!”
Han Ling closed his eyes and focused, sensing the strings of mana around him. He followed a single strand of dark blue and opened his eyes. He stood in front of a flight of stairs moving down, he descended, finding himself inside tunnels made of hardened dirt.
Whooo…
A cold wind swept by.
Han Ling froze, “A mana wind…” his expression darkened. He continued on, this time drawing Obsidian Hollow and Blood Baron’s blade in both hands.
He continued on for a while before catching a glimpse of a room in front, and sure enough…
It was a dark, but a cold wind swirled, sneaking past Han Ling and into the tunnels. The teen immediately unfurled his wings, firing three orbs of purple lighting into the room, the orbs shot forward before stopping, floating in the air as its light illuminated the place.
A grandiose hall of old marble, pillars that reached to the roof with a floor scattered with bits of rubble and wear. Han Ling stood right on a pavement of smooth stone, his feet suddenly warmed, and the unlit torches on the pillars spluttered to life.
Han Ling stepped forward, carefully eyeing his surroundings with care. The pavement of torches led to a single grey altar, and on top of it was a pearl.
A pearl? Han Ling cautiously stepped up towards the altar, finally standing right in front of the grey pearl.

Amphitrite’s Tear (Ultra Rare)
Type: Artifact

So, this is how Barbarossa became the King of the Sea… with a skill like transmutation, it’ll be like creating sovereigns out of thin air. Transfiguration itself is another broken skill, the ability to create essence just like that is something nations will kill for.
Han Ling grabbed the pearl, only to get a bad feeling the moment he picked the pearl up. As always, his instincts were nearly always correct…

SCREEE!!! GUOOOOH!!! KECHICK!!!
Monsters of all kind poured from the four sides of the room, wolfmen, zombies, orcs, goblins, demons of all kind spewed from purple portals. Han Ling scowled, raising his hand to the sky, dark clouds forming on the ceiling despite being no sky.
[Void Spark: Maelstrom]
The winged human took to the air, throwing his arms out as if being buffeted by a strong wind.
[Void Spark: Energy Barrage]
Dozens of glowing orbs of lightning spun behind Han Ling, and he roared, swinging his arms forward.
BOOM!!! BOOM!!! BOOM!!!
The hall was lit in purple light, as clouds of lightning erupted from the ground. The orbs of lightning rained down like a hail of missiles, destroying the horde of monsters in a single move.
Despite that, hundreds more spewed out the portals. Han Ling swooped down, landing on the ground with a skid, spinning like a leaf in wind. “Void Sword Style: First From. Billowing Whirl!”
The monsters around him exploded into pieces of flesh. Han Ling didn’t stop, “Three-fold Strike! Void Sword Style. Second Form. Abyssal surge!”
Another group of monsters were diced into body parts.
COME! It’s a great time for me to level up!
A mad grin on his face, he flapped his wings, and snapped his fingers.
CRACKLE!
KABOOOMMMMM!!!
The smell of smoke and destruction filled the hall…
