The Japanese Government sent every military personnel they can spare, deploying every squad in the army. News of players killing the beasts have reached the government, and they have asked for the aid of these players. The 721st platoon entered the Shinjuku district, along with a team of 6 players, their weapons raised.
The captain of the squad held up a hand. The platoon froze.
He looked through the corner and widened his eyes.
The street was filled with corpses, more beasts than monsters. The only sound on the street was the strange hum coming from the blood red gate.
One of the soldiers shuddered, “What the hell happened here? Did some players come by?”
The captain scanned the surroundings, checking on of the corpses before shaking his head. “No… no players were tasked to this street, but its strange, there were many survivors and none were injured. Something or someone was keeping them at bay…”
One of the players crouched over a corpse, “It looks like attacks done by swords… A swordsman?” “What kind of swordsman can solo so many beasts?”
BOOM!!
WOOMMMM!
Three wolfmen burst out the gate, swinging their arms frantically, eyes darting back to the gate, fear evident on their faces.
A player hastily raised his bow, followed by the cocking of guns as everyone aimed at the trio of wolves.
Shururuk!
A bloody teen sprung out of the gate, the red vortex disappearing behind him. Two gleaming white swords appeared in his hand. He reached the first wolfman in a heartbeat, activating his newly acquired skill.

Blood sprayed. Filling the air with its iron smell. The last wolf man kneeled on the ground eyes filled with despair, filled with fear, filled with the deep regret of meeting this human. Han Ling walked to the wolfman, glowing black eyes staring into the beast’s orange eyes, uncaring and indifferent.

A head fell.
[You have killed a LVL 2 Wolfman Awarding 35 XP]
Another golden glow draped Han Ling, cleaning the teen’s bloody face, ridding the terrible warmth of blood. The word LVL 6 appeared above his head, causing him to grin as he clenched his fists.
At this moment, he felt the eyes of dozens of people, turning to the platoon and players.
GULP…
Every single person unconsciously gulped, cold sweat bursting on their backs. The players all gaped, they understood how hard it was to level up using the system. Even after killing dozens of beasts they only reached LVL 1… Yet this man in front of them reached LVL 6! How many monsters did he sent to hell?! Who is this monster of a human?
As the others were gawking at the teen, Han Ling looked at his swords, finding them both chipped and cracked. He checked the durability…

Wow… I’m lucky I killed them before this thing broke…
He threw his swords on the ground, shoving his bloody hands into his pockets before throwing a hood over his head. As he turned to leave, a player stepped forward. “May I know the name of this powerful swordsman?” It was the archer who spoke, feeling tense as the hooded teen stopped.
A name…huh?
A name can’t be given! It must be earned!
Is that why you’re called Beggar King?
Exactly… Wait… NO YOU DAMN BRAT! HAN LING YOU BASTARD!
Han Ling chuckled inwardly, turning to the archer.
That’s right a name is earned…
“Han Ling.
