Well not much to say other than I should be back now. I relaxed a bit and tried to motivate myself after all of the negativity I've had to deal with lately. Anyways, although many of you don't read the reviews or look at the ratings, as the author I do. So it definitely hurts when people give 2/5 stars when they read 10k words. Anyways I'm not here to bitch and complain I'm just here to write and here I am with a chapter for you guys. Enjoy~
------------
The distorted figure ran up the small valley and disappeared from Owen’s vision. The worst part was that Owen was completely and entirely unable to follow the distorted figures pace. His body was in pain. His muscles were spasming as Owen tried to regain control of his body. The fluids in his stomach gathered and wished to erupted out of his body with every step he took. His control of the Blind Motion technique was becoming hazy and the colours started to lose their shine and become darker. It wasn’t the dark of a sin, instead it was the loss of his vision instead. The black spots became larger as all of his Essence within his body was flowing towards recovering his body.
‘I can’t!’
Owen didn’t even have the energy to deny his own body’s condition. He didn’t want to stop! He needed the Cinder! It was to help him, regain his vision! What person didn’t want to drive their body to their limits? But the problem wasn’t that Owen was unable to drive himself further, it was because he already lept passed his limits. He has just finished being baptised by the Essence, but this didn’t mean he would fully be able to control this sudden power. He did this because he had to! It was for his survival! Although the Tiny Thin Sash and Little Light Rock could potentially block him from harm, or create a giant crater, with the tough body of the Tyrant Devourer it would be impossible to do enough damage for Owen to escape unharmed.
As for using the Solar Eyes, that was even worse a decision! As he was only in the Intermediate Opal stage, it was practically the same as committing suicide if he used it in this rank. Even if he didn't die there was a huge chance of him becoming a cripple. This was stressed to him many times by his master Kovinth. Luckily, in the last few moments he was baptised due to his anger. However because of that he was tired. He was weak, and walking was already his limit. Chasing after the distorted figure? Impossible!
But who was Owen? He was a person who would stand up and face death time and time again. He was water the flowers perfectly and without stop every single day. For his entire life he did everything perfectly. Every day he walked with each step perfectly apart from one another, and even while being injured the spacing of his steps were equal, even though he could fall over at any moment.
Owen’s eyes were closed, yes but his Blind Motion technique was not, instead Owen concentrated all of his remaining Essence into right eye. Blinded from one side Owen stole the Essence trying to recover the rest of his body to keep his Blind Motion technique working. He was shivering all over, but he eventually made his way of the valley as well. All of this was unnoticed by the fighting Water Bull and the Black Mist man. He no longer cared about watching their fight. He was determined to find the distorted figured and chase after.

“Where is she?!”
Owen was still attempting to be calm, but his voice still rose in pitch. Although Owen attempted to remain calm and perfectly control his emotions, he was not emotionless. He still reacted to many things. It was just a lot more difficult to show them. But at the same time, this just made Owen a lot more stubborn to giving up. As he looked around with his strained neck, he had to fully rotate his head with only vision coming through his right eye.
‘There!’
Owen found the Cinder brightly glimmering as it was held by the impure distorted figure. If it wasn’t for the fact that Owen knew that the distorted figure was an Opal stage he might have given up. But as he thought this, he started to walk back down the mountain chasing after figure, as he did he lightly smirked and shook his head.
‘Who am I kidding? I’d rather die than give up this chance.’
As his determination was once ignited, he forgot all about his pain. He forgot about his tense muscles, and he forgot about the non existent energy within his body, and with sheer will alone, he let his broken arm go. His walked slowly turned into a jog which with the momentum of running downwards turned into a uncontrollable sprint. The chance of falling was something guaranteed, and if he fell Owen knew there was a huge chance that he wouldn’t be able to get up again, but even still, he let his body run faster, after the figure who held onto the Cinder.

“Huh?!”
Dimia looked back as she felt a tinge of fear from behind her. As she did she noticed the near death state of Owen. She was immensely surprised that Owen was even able to move at this point. She was clear at Owen’s state was she saw him fighting the Tyrant Devourer. The was reason was because she had already been watching for some time it was easy to tell the current situation. She was no doctor but she knew what it meant to fight a Devourer like what Owen did.
“His body should have already collapsed?! How is it he is still running like that? Hmm…..I was bored of him at first, I only thought of him as a stubborn idiot, but it seems there is more to him than meets the eye.”
Dimia spoke out with a small voice to herself. A tinge of curiosity filled her non-visible face as she continued to run. But instead of running faster to get away from her pursuer she slowed down as to not lose him.
“Show me how stubborn you are!”
As her figure ran through the rock forest a small giggle could be heard.
