Author's rant: I REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY dislike the new changes. Author's rant finished

-One week later
“Hmmm, after staying in this crater for a week, it’s become quite easy to breathe. I no longer have to breathe even the slightest bit of stagnant air and can solely breathe Essence.”
Just as Owen was pondering about his progress over the week, he suddenly felt that the crater’s cover was being removed. After it was removed Owen saw Kovinth standing over top of him. Then Owen stood up and gave a slight bow in respect. Kovinth just nodded, gesturing for him to follow after him. Owen naturally, walked after him, and when Kovinth noticed he exited out of the crater he spoke.
“Now, you have stayed training your breathing for one week. You should be able to solely breathe Essence now right?”
Kovinth asked the question, but he already knew the answer. He simply wanted to hear it from his own disciples mouth. After all if they are able to speak about their accomplishments even if they aren’t prideful they will become slightly happy and motivated about it. Owen was no different he was just calmer than most people, and didn’t easily show his emotions. However he was still happy to answer.
“Yes Master. During every breath I take, there is always some Essence to be found.”
“Good. Now that is only the first step of breathing. I imagine it isn’t easy to control the quantity of Essence with every breath. But continue practicing and in time you will be able to take all the Essence in an entire room with a single breathe! I did not teach you this because it is required for cultivating. In fact all the others will be taught by channeling the Essence in stead. However this is a more advanced method and allows you to constantly always absorb Essence becoming stronger in the process. Much like drinking many small doses will allow you to feel less dehydrated as opposed to drinking a lot at once.”
Owen listened with his entire focus on his teacher. As Kovinth explained it by using simple analogies. Because of this, Owen was always able to understand what his teacher meant when it came to Essence. Essence was in fact very mysterious and it was hard to explain its actions without using a reference to something else. As the days went by Owen learned, that he simply did not learn enough. He was like a baby stepping onto the Path with no real knowledge of how anything truly worked. Owen couldn’t help but be thankful for having such a wonderful teacher.
Although Kovinth at times was lazy and wanted to sleep all day, the moment Owen would finish his breathing in the crater Kovinth would be the first to respond and remove the top. He would then give him some sort of lecture pertaining to his expansive knowledge. One day it was about the anatomy of the body, which Owen simply could not understand whatsoever. But Kovinth was patient and only continued to explain things slowly.

Luckily Owen was intelligent and caught on quickly. But even still there was simply too much knowledge about the body he never realized. Kovinth never told Owen why he was learning about the body, and Owen never asked. Owen trusted Kovinth wholeheartedly and for that Kovinth was grateful. If Kovinth had to explain why he was doing something every time it would just end up wasting time. Something Kovinth didn’t want to do. But still nonetheless Kovinth would still give a basic explanation such as it could be used to heal injuries. As it was too early for that, Owen wasn’t sure how, but he still believed in Kovinth.
Another day, Kovinth would just sit next to him in the crater and show him some tips about breathing. Every day, the entire days were used for learning or perfecting his breathing technique. And like today Owen was going to learn something new as he sat down on a mat. But realizing he knew too little about the changes of this world, Owen decided to ask about them.
“Master, would it be alright to learn about the changes of this world today?”
Kovinth pondered with his hand rubbing the stubble on his chin slightly. Aftera few more seconds he nodded and spoke.
“That’s not a bad idea. You will learn it eventually why not today!”
Kovinth laughed and waited for Owen to ask him a question for the starting point. Knowing full well if Owen asked for atopic he would have to continue the to ask questions in order for his master to teach him. If Kovinth willingly picked a subject he would continue to teach it in a orderly fashion set by him. But if Owen wished to know something, it was on Owen to find which parts to ask. Only when Owen gave up would Kovinth fill in the remaining information. This allowed Owen to keep thinking, to always question everything so when the time came, he could be able to find out all the important details.
“Master, I would like to know what I’m supposed to do after I leave.”
Owen asked a calm manner. As he did he looked up at Kovinth with his bright flaming eyes. Kovinth returned the gaze with his own flaming eyes and answered.
“You must have heard about the World-Shredding Stalactites right?”
“Yes Master. Apparently they were huge and split the land apart, is what I heard from the commotion.”
Owen replied bluntly to Kovinth’s simple question.
“This continent had four of those giant rocks split the continent into four parts. This means that this planet is undergoing to the Poles Journey.”
