------------
With no other choice but to join the fight, Owen wrapped the sash around his forearm a few times in a spiral that covered his entire arm. If he wanted to use the sash, he would need to allow it to move freely up and down his arm. As such the sash was tightly wrapped, and because a silk material, it was able to flow down his arm when shot out.
Unexpectedly to the two forces as they clashed, Owen rushed towards the side. He moved just where the clash began and started to swing his sash with the Little Light Rock towards a Feral. As he sash swung, it approached the side of the Ferals head, and just millimeters before impact, the sash instantly gained speed many times faster than it previously was. As the speed exploded so did the side of the Ferals head. As the Feral was struck in the side, the momentum carried the Ferals head along with the weight of the sash. As the two continued to in a diagonal movement downwards the Ferals’ head eventually reached towards the ground. Unfortunately for the Feral, the Little Light Rock was still increasing speed as it chased the head relentlessly towards the ground. But as the hard head of the Feral smashed into the ground a incredible speeds, without even the chance for the dirt to rise up the Little Light Rock smashed into the skull again.
This left the Feral with two choices, it had to take on the Little Light Rock, or succumb to its fate. Unfortunately for the Feral, it had lost all its previous intelligence, it had no way of getting out of this predicament. There was only the inevitable destruction of his skull, as the head could no longer be chased the combination of the Tiny Thin Sash and Little Light Rock destroyed the Ferals entire skull. Blood flowed out of the skull of the Feral. It’s black colour was full of impure Essence, although Owen could see the black liquid through his Blind Motion technique, his attention was more focused on the incredible foul smell that invaded his nostrils soon after. But he had no time to worry about the scent of blood. However, there was one point that Owen couldn’t help but acknowledge.
“How is this not destructive?”
Owen muttered on accident. He had yet to use it on an actual enemy before, but the results were much better than he expected. Although the head of the Feral wasn’t turned into mush the side of the skull was still indented. But that was taking into account that Ferals were incredible durable. If a Pathwalker received the blow, his entire head would have popped off. Yet Owen didn’t think much of it, and continued onto the next target. Because he interrupted the fight between a Feral and a Devourer, the Devourer was no free. Without any hesitation Owen moved to fight with the 4 legged Devourer. To him they were shapes, they surely had their differences, and he could see most of their traits, but Owen didn’t care.

To him there was life in death in this fight, paying attention to the minor differences such as colour of hair wasn’t something he needed to notice. Luckily the first collision he took part in was a one on one Feral and Devourer fight. Because there were more Ferals, they were teaming up against the Devourers. This was partially the reason started on these two because he could clean them up fast. Or at least he assumed that if everything went well it would be easy.
Luckily, the Devourer was just as easy as taking out the Feral as Owen hovered the weight of the sash just above his foot, he kicked it launching it straight into the face of the Devourer. Like before the rock instantly gained speed as it approached infinitely close towards the Devourers face. The snout of the beast was entirely destroyed as it was launched backwards a few dozen feet. The Devourer whimpered in pain as it rolled a few more meters when it landed. It wasn’t dead but it was in so much pain it wasn’t able to get up in the slightest. The reason why this time the rock didn’t follow after was because it shot in an upwards motion it continued to follow the direction and because the Devourer had to come back down, the rock lost its target and lost all of its remaining force. The sash was then wrapped perfectly without any ridges in the sash around his arm. Owen stared at the remaining enemies in front of him, and likewise they all stared at him as well.
Although the first bout was easy, there are still well over 50 enemies still present. And the first bout was a surprise attack, but now that all of the Ferals could smell the sudden scent of blood. Likewise the Devourers turned at the sound of the whimpers of their comrade. This happened suddenly and even the leader of the Devourers gave a low growl in surprise. Owen calmly stood there and prepared himself for the next set of actions. After all the fight for the Awakening Cinder was just beginning. Even during this silence, Owen remembered the words of his master.
“Owen, you can walk the Path and never meet an enemy. However your Path will be frail and easily Broken. Only Blocks that have weathered all types of disasters can they become stronger through that experience. If you want to grow strong. If you want to reach the pinnacle. You must first acknowledge that your Path was right. That every block you created came with effort of blood. Only then can you stand equally with me.”
Owen slightly smiled upon remembering these words. His heartbeat’s movement flickered. IT started to speed up as Owen was feeling excited. And then he muttered while thinking of his future.
“This is my Path. And these before me, are my steps. Watch me Master, as I will not disappoint you!”
