Michael couldn’t believe he’d bothered returning…. but this place called to him, for some odd reason. He sat down in the office chair, and grabbed the tablet, flicking through the cameras.
Ring ring!
Ring ring!
He jumped again when the phone rang, and glared at it.
“Uh…. hello? Hello hello? You made it to day 2… congrats! So uh… well…”
The man on the phone cleared his throat.
“I can’t talk too long… because, uh, Freddy and his friends tend to get more active as the week progresses…. So make sure to keep an eye on those cameras while I chat. It’d be a shame if… they found you.. Y’know… if they do… try playing dead. They might think you’re an empty costume instead… oh… oh uh…. Scratch that, you might just have a metal skeleton shoved down your throat instead… yeah, just don’t get caught.”
Michael’s uneasy feeling wasn’t comforted.
"Y’know… I’ve uh… I’ve noticed that Freddy seems a lot less active when the lights are on, so thats one more reason to not run out of power… haha.”
Noted.
“I’ll leave you to it tonight, just uh… stay safe, will ya? Oh.. oh wait, before I go, keep an eye on pirates cove tonight, the mascot in there is a little different, as in he moves more when the cameras are off for long periods of time. And he’s uh… he’s fast, so you may only have a few seconds to react… same with the other characters. If they’re in the camera blind spot, just close the door. Don’t risk your life trying to be a hero. I’ll talk to you tomorrow, alright?”
Click!
Silence. Michael just endured the silence around him.
Checking the cameras, he noticed Bonnie and Chica were already gone… It wasn’t even 1 AM. Flipping through the cameras, he stumbled upon the Dining Area, in which Bonnie and Chica were already both present. However, they appeared more nervous than the night prior.
However, the bunny didn’t say anything and walked to the back of the stage. Michael kept his eye on Chica, who proceeded to walk off to the Restrooms.
The air seemed still and calm, but memories were fading from and into Michael’s mind.
That’s when Michael clicked on Pirate Cove.
He was greeted with a familiar fox peeking out of the cove.
Foxy.
Michael remembered him. And that’s when the footsteps interrupted his train of thought. Michael would turn toward the left door, and be greeted with the bipedal rabbit. Michael would yelp and slam the door shut.
“Don’t lose your composure, buddy!” Bonnie yelled, in such a tone that made Michael unsure if he was being genuine or sarcastic.
Michael kept his eye on Pirate’s Cove, all the while waiting for the bunny to leave. And soon enough, the bunny did leave.
Michael opened the left door and would then check around with the other cameras.
Time felt as if it was moving slower and slower by the minute. Was it out of boredom? Out of fear? Out of annoyance? He was unsure.
He was also unsure if they were just giving him the easy treatment….
The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
Michael would look up and watch Pirate’s Cove again, seeing the red pirate fox now almost fully out of the cove.
Shit…
Michael would make sure to keep an eye on that. Michael would turn to check the time, 4 AM…. 17% power. He felt as if he’d fallen asleep almost.
Had he?
Michael would flip up his camera.. to find Foxy now gone. Michael, in a panic, would quickly search for the fox.
But that was suddenly when he heard sprinting down the hallway. Michael, out of a mix of instant gut reaction and panic, would slam the left door shut.
The fox would start banging on the door, screaming, “WHY’D YE COME BACK!?”
Even Michael himself was unsure why. After a little while, Foxy would leave.
The night would resume as normal, albeit with a little more stress. When the timer hit 6 AM, Michael didn’t feel accomplished.

Another failed attempt.
Bonnie looked in horror at the backstage door. The poor rabbit knew what graphic and horrific things the bear was doing in there, and it disgusted the rabbit.
“No one feels sadistic joy like that….. No one!”
Chica overheard the bunny’s whine as he shivered.
“Quit your whining… it's… probably fine.” Chica lied to nobody but herself. Even she knew it was true, what went on back there was bloody, and very against the sanitation code.
“I SAW WHAT HE BROUGHT IN, CHICA!!! I SAW WHAT HE WAS DOING TO THAT GUY!!!” Bonnie went into a frenzied panic.
“SHUT YER TRAP, BEFORE IT'S YE THAT GETS TORN APART.” Foxy suddenly yelled from his cove.
“IF HE FINDS OUT WE MESSED UP, WE’LL ALL BE TORN APART, FOXY, ALL OF US!” The poor rabbit had gone into full hysterics.
As if on cue, the door opened, and Freddy stepped out of the back room, smiling like he’d just done something fun… It didn’t take Bonnie and Chica long to notice the blood covering his left leg.
“I take it you successfully killed the guard?” Freddy mused, his sky blue eyes meeting his cohorts, betraying that he was already expecting the answer he was about to receive.
Bonnie and Chica started to panic, yelling over each other, Freddy unable to tell what they were saying.
Finally, after a few seconds, Freddy lost his temper, “SILENCE!!!”
They stopped talking, and stared staring awkwardly at Freddy.
Freddy then turned to an unexpecting Foxy, “You. What the hell happened last night?”
“Oh uh…. Yeah, he closed that damned door on me face”
Freddy just stared at Foxy, silent for a few seconds, then finally spoke harshly, “And you stayed at the door, correct?!”
“.... I did not.”
Freddy stared at Foxy, an angered expression on his face as he quickly twitched. “...IDIOTS!! MUST I DO EVERYTHING MYSELF?!”
Everyone started yelling over each other, trying to stop Freddy from doing what they feared he would.
“QUIET, ALL OF YOU!!! You all have proven to me you’re utterly worthless so this is the best course of action!”
The yelling got louder, everyone looking more in a panic, trying their best to convey terror over the din. Even Foxy was in view, his eyes pure horror, shaking his only good hand trying to convince Freddy not to do it.
“My decision is final. Now, get ready for the damn show, we have some meatheads to…. ‘entertain’.” And with that, the bear walked back into the backstage and slammed the door shut.
Bonnie, if he could cry, would have started to. Foxy just stood there, in pure shock, and Chica stared blankly into the distance. There was no stopping the bear, it was game over for both the guard… and them.
