"What the HELL are you kids doing in here?"
The room remained silent, but the kids knew they were in trouble if this was an officer, but at the same time, were relieved they could finally leave this nightmare.
Nobody else knew what to say, but Tracy spoke up, "W-We're sorry, officer. We snuck in here due to some.... rumors." It definitely wasn't the most calm or sensible thing to say.
"Well, it's not safe here. Isn't that right?"
The old man turned to something off to his right, and then back to the group.
It was then the man saw the young Aaron, hiding behind Tracy. It seemed just as much as Aaron was scared to die, he was also scared of getting in trouble.
The old man mumbled something, seemingly listening to whatever it was off to his right.
"... alright kids... we should get you to safety."
At first, the kids were relieved, but then they remembered what Grant had said about the windows and doors. If that was true, that meant the officer was stuck in here with them.
"Well? Do you want to survive or not?"
None of them knew what to say, but walked toward the guard anyway, but before they could, footsteps echoed through the building, and the man turned....
The man narrowed his eyes, and stuck his hand out, blocking the advance of the group.
"W-W-hyYyyyYYY ThiSs I-I-is QuiT-Te The Sur-r-r-r-r-rpr-r-ise!!!!" The voice of the bear called out, almost gleefully.
"I guess you can call it that."
Tracy looked at the man, "Y-You know him...??" Suspicion arose in the back of Tracy's mind that the man knew something they didn't. The man seemed to catch Tracy's suspicion.
"I know this bear, but not as a friend."
"I d-d-ddiidn't th-th-think I'd s-s-s-seeee you aagin, M-i-ikkeey. A-A-nnnnddd you brought m-many meals for me-e-e-e to f-east on tonight." The bear giggled, his tone feigning friendship.
"Leave the kids alone, Freddy."
Tracy backed up from the man, who's name was apparently Mikey, she looked at the rest of the group, unsure if they should trust him.
Matthew watched this happen, confused about how this man could possibly help them survive.
"Th-They've pe–eppepepeeaked my interes-st, Mikey." The bear, who's name was Freddy, chuckled.
Aaron whimpered, backing up. It was then Freddy turned toward Aaron, smiling at him with sinister intent. Tracy quickly covered Aaron with her arm, glaring at the brown, mechanical bear.
Mikey looked at Freddy's line of eyesight, and it seemed he realized what Freddy wanted to do.
"Jeremy, take the kids back." he ordered
Freddy stared Mikey down, chuckling as he neared, "Th-th-their m-mi-mine, Mic-chael."
Everyone looked around.... No one else was there. Tracy looked at the group, whispering to them out of his hearing, "This guy's delusional, we can't trust him."
Aaron shook his head, "Tr-Tracy..... He's the only help we have."
"Well that's mean, he's not delusional." A new voice interjected.
If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
Everybody jumped back at the new voice. Tracy instantly assumed it was the black bear and almost started to shiver again.
"Haha, boo!" The new voice chortled, "Time to go kids!" .
Tracy backed up, staring at the group whether to listen to this voice.
Matthew gasped, and tapped Tracy's shoulder. Freddy suddenly chuckled, and lunged.... But not at Michael...... rather at Aaron.
Freddy tackled Aaron and grabbed him by his neck.
Tracy turned, and her blood ran cold.
"O-o-o-o–Oooohhh, I'll le-let you le-le-le-leave al-right-right.... Bu-but I'v-ive taken QUITE A L-LikI-Ing To this o-o-on-one!!"
Tracy's fists balled up as she glared at the bear.... Until her blood ran cold.... As the darkness neared her again.
"Too slow, Tracy."
Meanwhile, Michael stared at Freddy and said in a mix of shock and anger, "Put the kid down, FazBear."
Freddy chuckled, and stared the group down, "A-A-Any-on-one comes closer-r-r-r-r-r and t-t-th-the- kid's-s-s neck ge-ge-gets sna-a-pped."
Somewhere behind Michael, Tracy let out an enraged scream, and the sound of running went past him, as a very, very angry Tracy went to tackle the bear.
"Tr-Tracy, wai-!" Matthew tried to call out, but Freddy chuckled,
"Too s-s-slow."
"Tra-!" Aaron was about to yell.... until a loud snap filled the room.
The air seemed to freeze, time seemed to slow. Tracy skidded to a stop in front of the bear, who was now smiling down at her, and what was left of her brother.
Freddy dropped the dead child in front of Tracy, the paleness on Aaron's face signifying the fear he felt in his last few moments.
Michael just stared at the bear, Freddy had hurt adults, but never children, yet here he just did, so mercilessly.
Tracy wanted to rip the bear apart with her bare hands, but she was too encased in grief to even lay a hand.
Michael stood there in shock, his hands hanging limply at his sides.
Freddy stared down at Tracy and leaned down to meet her face-to-face, then said blankly, "You-ur l-la-lack of determ-mination is p-pit-itful"
Somewhere behind Freddy, a familiar chuckle sounded, and two small red dots appeared behind the bear, which faded almost instantly afterwards.
Tracy would've been terrified, but she was too angry and grief stricken at the brown bear to even care.
Freddy then took his attention off of Tracy and stared at Michael, tauntingly, "H-How-w does i-it-it fee-el that y-you-you've failed ano-another one?"
Tracy's fists grew tighter, and she swung a punch at the brown bear, trying to do anything to make it hurt. Tracy's fist connected with Freddy's muzzle. Tracy didn't even care about her hand erupting in pain from the connection with metal. She felt hands on her shoulders pull her away from the bear as she fought to get closer again, trying to break it apart, rip it to pieces, the angry tears streaming down her face.
Freddy just kept staring between Tracy and Michael, enjoying two new victims to play with. The others were just pawns, but these two... were the king and queen in his chess game.
"Th-the one I've be-en waiting t-to-o see f-f-for a lo-ong time, and n-new fri-riends to p-pl-play with fo-for et-et-eternity. Wh-what m-more co-could a be-bear want~" The bear purred, almost poetically.
Michael turned to Freddy, and smiled, before pulling a matchbox out of his overcoat pocket. Freddy's smile faded, turning to that of anger.
"You think I'm above arson, FazBear?"
"Too-o bad th-these kids ar-are stuck i-in he-here with u-us then, as-as well as y-your little rab-bbit friend, yo-ou remember that li-little cu-curse~"
That hadn't crossed Michael's mind, but Michael had a backup plan.
Tracy, meanwhile, was just stuck in her own grief cycle, hugging Matthew. Matthew stared in shock, his amber eyes going dim with grief as his eyes darted back to Aaron's body. Gary stood completely still, horrified.
Suddenly, Freddy nearly fell over as something hit him over the head. Everyone looked at Freddy in shock, as the form of a black rabbit hovering behind him appeared, with a look of anger on his face.
Freddy snarled, clearly sick of what kept interrupting his "game", "AN-AN-ANNOYING RO-RODENT!!!"
"Don't think I FORGOT what you did, Freddy. Bound in this mechanical prison."
Freddy stood, a smile creeping over his face. It seemed he thought at first, it was somebody else... But who?
"I-I woul-would do it-it again, Jer-Jeremy."
The rabbit hissed at Freddy, his pure white eyes narrowing further.
It was then Tracy escaped Matthew's grip, and screamed at the bear, "How many people have you made suffer due to whatever sadistic game you're playing!?"
Freddy laughed. "Not e-e-e-enough."
"Y-You're a monster." Tracy growled, tears still pouring down her face.
"I-I'm not a monster, T-t-t-tracy. I'm a GOD!"
That's when they realized how trapped in delusion the bear was.
That's when a new voice sprang in, startling everybody, including the brown bear, "God, hm?"
Freddy's ears perked up, but before he could even react, Freddy was thrown off to the side with such force, he broke a table in half on impact. Tracy stared at the beast in front of him.
"You are NOTHING, FazBear. You are nothing but a PAWN to be expended in the long, winding game of chess."
Both Tracy and Freddy knew who this guy was.
"It's you...." Tracy went to a halt.
"It's me." the black bear responded, smiling, revealing all his pointed fangs.
