I had been there watching the gardeners tend to the massive farm

Grabbing a tray I carried it inspecting all the foods that were laid out

Everything was leftovers from today, food that wasn't eaten or meals that weren't served

Everything that would go off quickly like fruits and breads, they were brought out to be eaten before they could rot and become inedible and go to waste

I carefully picked out a few vegetables, a few slabs of different meats and grabbed cuts of bread

I took my tray filled with food and looked around for a good table to sit at

It was the so called popular group filled with most of the people my age, although I had friends we were much like an outcast group

We didn't hang out with any other guys, we were basically a group of outcasts and oddballs that weren't quite liked

James and Dick were doing their best to try and avoid a murder in the cafeteria but it seemed that anything they said wouldn't work

Everyone got ready to witness the exciting match up of two enhancers trying to suppress one of the most destructive emitter's in our base

It was a battle everyone hoped for, sadly there wasn't any suitable place for people to duel using their powers so any wager or anger was taken out on who hunted more mutants

No one would want to get in the way

On the contrary people started quickly clearing the tables out of the way and making a large circular shaped arena for them to fight in
