“Now announcing, Ohthere clan known for their fearlessness.” Announced a small dwarf in a cloak.
A short dwarf walked into the room with his attendants. He was more muscular than the average dwarf and his arms and face were covered in scars. He was slightly tanned too and wore a studded earring on his right ear. True to their clan name, the dwarves of Ohthere were fearless. They could jump into the heart of the battle without hesitation and were often known for their suicidal missions which would upset wars in dwarvish favours.
“Now announcing, the fierce Coenwulf known for their….”
“Oh shut up…now announcing now announcing….I know a parrot that can do better than that….” spoke a fairly average height dwarf hurriedly walked in and sat next to the Ohthere clan. This clan was the strength of the dwarves in battles. They were the ones whose swing of a hammer would crush enemy morale. The Coenwulf were sister clans to the Ohthere, however they were more focused on doing damage and staying alive than recklessly charging in.
“Now announcing, the famous Adalrod and Odomir clans…”
“Yayaya…do you need to announce it every time we step in and out?” Coenwulf clan’s representative cut the announcer.
“Let him do his job Coenwulf. You know better than to vent your frustration at a young one.” Spoke an old female dwarf as she walked in.
She was aided by another female dwarf who whispered to her, “Mother, must we necessarily step into this, you can barely walk!”
“Alienated by my own daughter after she gets married into Adalrod.” Cribbed the old female dwarf.
“…”
“Announcing the arrival of Bautischler, Ackerman, and Schäfer; all belonging and representing the Mittsu alliance of the lay dwarves.”
Three modest looking dwarves bowed to the others before taking their seat at the round table
“The things some dwarves do to get a seat at the round table.” The old dwarf lady cribbed away. She was clearly targeting the three dwarves who had just walked in. They however chose to ignore her.
“Annoucing, the protectors of cities; Frithuwold and the giant dwarves; Thurismund.”
One buffed dwarf walked in, followed by another as tall as a human.

“Annoucing, the dexterous sister clans Huogobert, Huoging, Hogo.”
Three more dwarves entered and sat next to the last trio.
“Announcing the arrival of the Gotwald priest and the blacksmith of Balkan.”
Two dwarves walked in and bowed to the others before taking their seat. One of these dwarves wore a striking resemblance to Theodore, only he looked much older. Both these dwarves received sympathetic looks.
“Announcing the arrival of…” The black cloaked dwarf stuttered a bit before gathering his courage, “the devious Holosint.” He said before going faint. Four dwarves rushed to the scene, lifted away the announcer and replaced him with another.
All the murmuring in the room stopped at the mention of the Holosint clan’s arrival. A single dwarf walked in, wearing ragged clothes and in chains. He looked more like an old prisoner than a representative clan head.
“The Kurfürst, welcome you all to the first seating for the hundredth and forty second king’s election.” Spoke an extremely old and thing looking dwarf. He was dressed in white priest like robes and limped as he walked into the stone chambers aided with nothing more than crooked staff. He looked around; there were fifteen members from the various clan heads seated on the round table, another 30 personal attendants in the connecting room outside and twenty foot soldiers.
'The Council is now in session,' announced the new dwarf wearing the same attire as his former comrade.
“SEAL THE DOORS!” shouted the announcer. A large circular stone was rolled down a slope till it covered the entrance to the chamber sealing clan head dwarves and their attendants in the fashionable cavern.
*THUD* a sound came as the stone fit into position, locking away the clan leaders in a single room. A hundred soldiers stepped in front of the entrance to prevent anyone from disturbing their meeting. Many dwarf NPCs stood at the square of the city, hoping to gain a glimpse the clan leaders who rarely make public appearances. However, the meeting location was deep inside the numerous never ending mazes of caves and tunnels that dwarves dig.
