Day 9
“Guyar”
With the strength I have left, I think that tomorrow I won't be able to move anymore, I am very weak, and I am losing fat again. There are moments during the day when the pain gets stronger, but it's only for a few minutes and then it stabilizes again. Even so, it doesn't seem to be a good sign, I can still hold on, but if this continues for a few months, I'll be done for. Even Danamus seems worried, he seems to be trying to communicate something to me, but I don't understand him.
Day 10
Just as I supposed, I can't move a muscle anymore, I keep my conscience, but that only makes the suffering worse. Besides, in the ironies of life, what I tried to protect was what I lost. What little was left of my dignity was cleansed by Danamus along with the bodily waste beside me.
'Oh! So that's how he cleaned me up before, how interesting. At least it's not as bad as I had thought'
A mist passed between my body and the bed made of leaves, then it turned into some kind of super comfortable stretcher, it was like a cloud that didn't hurt my skin. The leaves along with the waste floated a few meters in the air before catching fire and disappearing. I didn't even see ashes fall, it was like a magic act, well it is magic. In any case, fresh grass grew in the place where I was lying, then some leaves fell from the larger trees to form the bed again.
All the time I was watching from the bed in the air, when he finished all the preparations on the ground, he created a stream of water that passed all over my body cleaning the dirt and in the same way as the leaves, after cleaning my body, the water floated a few meters in the air before evaporating into nothingness. Finally, a gentle breeze covered my body, removing any moisture, it was a very soothing magical massage and when everything was ready, I returned to my bed made of leaves, to my vegetable coffin.
I'm not sure if magic in general works like that or if Danamus did it for my comfort, but everything was very comfortable and only took a few minutes. Although it leaves me with some doubts, such as why he didn't use magic directly on me? I mean, instead of creating a stretcher of mist, wouldn't it be easier for him to just made me levitate, like he did with the leaves afterwards? So I'm left wondering if he did it for my comfort or maybe magic has some limitations?.
Despite all the young dragon's care, the pain in general hasn't decreased, and the points where the pain becomes more intense were starting to become more frequent. Before they were isolated and even random, but now they are periodic moments. If I wanted to, I could calculate the time it takes for them to occur, but it wouldn't serve me any purpose. I mean, all I could do is mentally prepare myself to endure more pain, which would only make me more stressed, so I'd rather be taken by surprise.
Day 11
I returned to my childhood days, my day consists of eating and defecate, although since I can no longer eat solid fruits, my diet consists only of water and fruit juice, so it's like in childhood but without the innocence of childhood.
“gahk”
I still haven't recovered my voice, but every time the peaks of pain arrive and a moan escapes from my throat, I feel like my vocal cords are going to burst. Unfortunately, although the pain is intense, it doesn't seem enough to make me lose consciousness, but I feel like my body is on fire, as if I had a body temperature of at least 60°C. I'm sure that right now I could use my skin to fry an egg.
“Gaahk”
While I was moaning, Danamus arrived with my food floating, although this time the fruits seem different, but I didn't pay much attention. First, I'm not sure if the fruits are actually different, since my vision at the moment is not very good. Second, my taste buds seem to have gone on vacation, so if the fruit is bitter, sweet, or any other flavor, I won't notice it. And finally, I know Danamus wouldn't harm me, so I'm not worried either.

'Oh! So this was what you were trying to tell me before? It seems like you were more prepared than I was and I'm the one conducting the experiment. That makes me look stupid.... What would I do without you, my friend?'
Before turning everything into a puree, Danamus passed one of the fruits over my eyes so I could see it, so it was easy to understand his intentions. The particularity of this fruit is that it works as an anesthesia, when eating it, the body loses all its capacities until you can no longer feel anything and you lose consciousness or die. I am not very sure, since I ate the fruit when this was still just a simple dream.
At that moment, after lying on the ground for a few minutes, unable to move and drooling like a Newfoundland dog when it's hot, I woke up, so I assumed I had died. And when this stopped being a dream, it was one of the fruits that I discarded as poisonous, so I saw no use for it at the moment. I mean, dying is not on my to-do list... yet.
But now that Danamus brought it, it seems I was mistaken and the fruit isn't poisonous. If this works like before, it will be a great relief. It will also make me feel pretty silly since the young dragon proposed it to me earlier and I failed to understand it. In my defense, he is a dragon who knows magic and still communicates with roarlish, no one can blame me, I mean, I still haven't mastered roarlish entirely.
The fruit tastes like a mix between an alupag and a pitahaya, with a mild sweet flavor. Also, the pulp is a bit rubbery, but when you put it in your mouth it melts like cotton candy, it is a very delicious fruit. Sure, I was now consuming it in juice, but it's so delicious that my taste buds came back from the underworld to taste it. To be honest, it would be a great product for my store if it weren't for the fact that you could die if you consumed it.
'*Haa* I hope it works, I need a break urgently'
The fruit is fast-acting, and a few seconds after the fruity liquid went down my throat, a tingling sensation started spreading from my hands, bringing some peace back to my body. It was like a battle between a sedative and an energizer.
“gaaahk”
Although that only made the pain intensify, but luckily the fruit didn't take more than a few minutes to work its magic and erase all the pain along with my consciousness. Well, I want to think it was the fruit, but it wouldn't be strange if the fainting was due to the intense pain. But whether it was the fruit or not, I achieved my goal of fainting, so the method was unorthodox but effective.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Although it seemed like a good plan and was definitely the best option. First, I did not know how long I would be unconscious and second, the effect of the sedative did not last long enough. When I woke up, the effect of the experiment still hadn't ended, but I could always trust Dr. Danamus, who squeezed more fruit and the sedative effect continued. So, the few times I woke up, I only felt discomfort for a few moments before falling back into unconsciousness.
For the first problem, I still don't have a solution. I have no way to calculate the days, the only way is with daylight, but it has the inconvenience that when in moments like this I lose awareness of my surroundings, the clock has to reset because I don't know how long I was out of service. It could be anything, years, months, weeks, days or just minutes, I do not know. I also have no way of knowing if the days have 24 hours, or if the hours have 60 minutes or the minutes have 60 seconds, I have no idea of time.
The sun could be an important guide for calculating the time, but the son of a bitch doesn't seem to exist. The days start regularly, but no matter how hard I try, I can't see the sun in the sky even though the light is there. So, wisely, I decided to give up trying to know the time for now. But for my experiments, I try at least to make an approximation, which I can't do very well either. I don't know which is more difficult, knowing the time or learning magic.
In any case, it seems that the time it took to take effect along with the pain are shorter compared to the previous experiment, which means that although the mixture of flesh and blood are responsible, it is only partly and were not the main cause of the previous absurd pain. Sure, this time I was agonizing, but at least I was able to agonize. I mean, previously I didn't even have time to curse my luck.
The pain itself was not so intolerable, yeah, it was desperate and horrible, but I think if I put my will into it, I could have endured it while I was conscious. The problem was the malnutrition that added to the pain was unbearable, but even so, it's far from being the same as before. It was like the difference between eating meat and eating vegan meat, similar names but far from being the same.
