His head, although it has shaped like a rat, his snout is quite wide. I don't see any ears, but he has two spikes for horns in which there are holes, so I guess those are his ears. His mouth, full of teeth like those of a crocodile, could fold like a pelican eel's mouth and its red eyes were totally devoid of any sense of rationality, they showed nothing but madness and a desire to tear apart his prey.
Standing on its two hind legs make it look like some sort of deformed and ugly rat T-rex. The world or whatever created this thing didn't do it with love. It probably wanted to get out of work early and did anything to get it over with quickly. This display of fierceness and anger by the rat allowed me to see it in detail, but it also allowed the deer to plan their attack.
Despite their short legs, the short time the deformed rat had taken to show off was enough for the ponies to manage to surround him. Although, I don't know if the rat is very confident in his abilities or if he is not taking the goats seriously, since despite being surrounded, he doesn't seem to care. However, there is one exception, since the goat boss hit him, the deformed T-rex hasn't taken his eyes off him and this other one despite being the main victim of the beast, doesn't hesitate either.

The current situation reminds me of African buffaloes when they face a solitary lion, of course, saving the differences and weights. In any case, the brief pause didn't last much longer, and it was precisely the goats who put an end to the staring game by launching an attack that I hadn't seen them use until now. Although it makes sense after all, it's the first time I've seen them fight as a group.
All the deer without exception stepped in unison, and the strong impact produced by their hooves cracked the ground, causing a huge amount of debris or rocks to be lifted into the air and then thrown at the rat with absurd speed. This attack surprised me and even instilled some fear in my heart. If I were the victim, I would have no way to survive, but the deformed T-rex, on the other hand, was not fazed by this action.
It seems that the only thing he cares about is drinking the blood of the goat that dared to hit him. When he heard the initial stomping, he pounced on the leader with a leap as if he were a kangaroo. But the group's attack had already been launched, so the rain of rocks and rat looked like they would collide head-on, but then it simply disappeared. The rat vanished into the darkness as if it did not exist.
'Is the bastard invisible or did he teleport?'

*GRAAAAAAAAAAAAR*
My question was quickly answered with the sound of stones colliding against the beast's body like rain, which was followed by a pitiful roar and its body became visible to my eyes again. Honestly, I don't understand why it seemed so confident. I mean, if it's simply invisible or some kind of mimicry with the darkness, it doesn't make any sense for it to face so many goats at once, it's obvious that any of the multiple attacks would hit it.
Although whether it is recklessness, overconfidence or lack of experience, the important thing is that this helped me to see how the rat was defending itself from the projectiles. Unfortunately for the deformed T-rex, he only has two hands, there are many goats and his six claws were not enough to repel all the rocks, although I must admit that despite not seeming very fast, it's quite agile and I can partly understand its confidence. If there weren't so many goats attacking at once or if the attacks weren't sequential, the rat would have the advantage.

At first, they weren't very evident, but as time went on, more rocks managed to hit him and the wounds were accumulating. The rat was cornered and to make things worse for the deformed friend, the pony leader was now stalking him, hiding behind the other males, was searching for the blind spot, and when the rat showed an opening, again, he lunged like a cannonball, impacting the monster's stomach, who was standing on two legs trying to repel the continuous attacks.

Things only got worse for the deformed T-rex. The goat chief managed to ram his horns into him and now his head was covered in the bluish-green blood of his enemy, but despite having delivered what for me is a mortal blow, he seems to know that this will not be enough. A bellow and the other goats ceased their aerial siege only to continue attacking with the earth spikes, they didn't want to give him a break, they needed to kill him on the spot.
“GRAAAARR”
The initial purpose was achieved, several of the spikes impacted the body of the beast, despite the wound in the stomach, the rat was able to repel some spikes with its claws, but it is clear that the wound limited its movements and some spikes managed to hurt it. Some couldn't even pierce his skin, while others punctured its body, leaving multiple holes. But undoubtedly, the worst part was that some spikes managed to hit the wound made by the chief.
I thought the predator would have the advantage, but seeing its body covered in wounds and blood escaping from them, while those who were supposed to be his prey are unharmed, makes it clear to me that I was wrong. Like the rat, I also underestimated the deer, although despite all this, the deformed T-rex doesn't lose its fierce gaze, so maybe it can turn the situation around and escape or maybe it will die at the hooves of the goats.
Although maybe he has a trump card, which may be quite likely, since from the beginning, except for his ability to camouflage himself with the night, I haven't seen the rat make use of magic and I don't think he's such a useless animal. I mean, with just his body and claws he endangered a group of adult goats, who are sparing no energy in their magical attacks and yet if it weren't for his overconfidence, which caused him to be reckless, he could have already caught a goat for dinner.
I don't have a preference for who gets the victory, what's going on there is just nature. Sure, there's something illogical and unpredictable like magic, but in retrospect, it's just nature taking its course. If the goats lose, the whole group, including the herd they're trying to protect, could die, but the rat, as ugly as it is, must also eat or it could weaken which isn't good for a predator. Besides, it must also feed its family of ugly rats, of course, if it has one.

I don't know what happened to the group, where did the experience that they showed before go, I mean, it was pretty obvious. While all the concentration was on the rat that was already very badly wounded, on the other side, the place where the females and the young ones were gathered, they were attacked by another rat. Without defenses and taken by surprise, the attack paid off and the beast managed to capture one of the youngsters in its jaws.
The females reacted a second too late, but still managed to make their coordinated attacks hit the thief, causing the latter to lose his camouflage and be revealed. Unfortunately, the attacks were not enough to make him release his prey. On the contrary, despite the initial blows, he skillfully used the spikes as an impulse to jump and then disappear into the darkness along with the fawn, leaving behind only the wailing of the young one fading into the night.
One thing is for sure, goats aren't easy to intimidate, but rats know and are good at what they do. The distraction caused by the surprise attack made the males lose their concentration, giving the rat a golden opportunity to escape. Who understood it that way and charged with suicidal impulse against the pony blocking his escape route. Fortunately for the goat, the large number of wounds that the deformed T-rex has, especially the one in its stomach, prevented it from having its initial mobility and speed.
With its abilities diminished and unable to make use of its ability to hide, the deer was able to notice the attack before the claws made contact with its body. It all happened very fast, almost simultaneously with the other rat's escape, but those milliseconds were enough for the goat to activate the patterns on his body, narrowly avoiding the deformed T-rex's deadly claws from cutting it in half like butter.

The loud sound of steel clashing against steel echoed across the prairie until it reached my ears. But despite his quick reaction, the strength of the rat is not a joke and even with wounds and weakened by the constant loss of blood, the goat couldn't withstand the impact and was sent flying a few meters before crashing to the ground, followed by a loud bellow that carried a mixture of pain and warning to his comrades.
