“Master, I finished planting.” Flysa said with a smile. Scooting over I gestured for her to sit next to me while I finished reading through the trait information. Looking at the trait list with one head I watched Flysa gracefully walking over with the other. Each step was fluid and powerful, as if ready to spring into dance at any moment; or combat.
Blushing I turned away and focused all my attention onto the status window. And my body heated up as she drew closer till she finally sat next to me and scooped me up onto her lap. Face now burning as I struggled to pay attention to the trait window Flysa affectionately wrapped her huge arms around me, pressing my back into her soft chest and breaking my concentration.
Sighing in defeat I swiped away the window and tilted my heads upward to face Flysa who was happily looking down at me. My cheeks instantly heated up and I hurriedly looked away. We really need clothes.
“Is something wrong master?”
I hurriedly shook my head and sighed again. ““No, but we should probably go hunting for something other than orcs.”” I looked to the wall where the orcs were stored, reminds me we should make a freezer. “But first I need to make us both weapons.”
Flysa nodded and regretfully let me go. Standing up and clearing my head I moved over to the wall and created a small alcove, then concentrated and pulled the metals out of the earth, expanding my range beyond the alcove and drawing them in streams from the surroundings, then seperated them into different blocks depending on what they were.
Soon enough several different sized blocks of metal were sitting on the ground infront of me, the largest being aluminum with sixty cen on all sides, the second being iron directly behind it. I managed to pull out some silver, copper and gold, along with three other metals I couldn’t identify but found them highly reactive to mana. I picked up the 6-cen reddish-black cube to examine it, probably the so called fantasy metals. The largest of the three- being a cube, 20 cen on all sides- was a silver-blue metal that seemed to ‘sharpen’ my mana when it went through it, for now I would call it mithril. The smallest was the black-red cube I was holding, which considering it both amplified and sharpened my mana I would call it adamantium. The one in the middle being 12 cen on all sides was a purplish-gold metal that solely amplified my magic, which I would label orichulum.
Unfortunately to create a weapon of good size for Flysa I would have to use other metals besides the three fantasy ones, I simply didn’t have enough otherwise. Maybe…
“Flysa, can you mold yourself a wooden staff with plant manipulation?”
“Probably master, shall I go outside and try it?” She answered from outside the hole I was in.
“Ye, but be careful. Also make the staff extremely dense if you can.”
“Hai Master.” I felt the ground gently shake as she walked towards the exit and blushed slightly at the image. Uth! I need to stop this! Shaking my head I focused on created a weapon for me. While I would ideally like a katana or some sort, but I don’t have enough fantasy metals to make a good one. How about just remake my previous weapon? There’s probably plenty of carbon in the ground to make steel for the rod. I hit my left forehead, why didn’t I just do that for Flysa’s? Shaking my head I concentrated on pulling out carbon and infusing it with the iron, from what I remember the correct concentration of carbon in iron for a general sword would be somewhere between .6% and .95%, or was it a mix of the two? Doesn’t matter, I’ll just layer them like in a katana, though I should probably use T-10 steel (tungsten alloy). Also I want it to be a type of spring steel, probably at the level of 5160 which would have .7% chromium and .2% silicon. Usually heating would be a massive problem with getting a blade correct with this, but I can just use transmutation and kinetic magic to get it right.
Halving the iron cube I made one half with .9% carbon and .35% silicon mixed with tungsten-iron alloy, the other half had .65% carbon with chromium and silicon put in from the surroundings making a spring steel.
Now unlike popular belief folding metals in a blade does not always make them stronger, and is very risky if you aren’t skilled; any pockets or unevenness in the folding will weaken the blade to the point where it would be much better just to not fold it. Luckily I have transmutation that allows me to do it perfectly, but for the average forger their blades would just snap in half.
Pausing for moment I looked at the fantasy metals curiously while tapping my right chin. From what I see the steel I am using doesn’t have innate mana qualities, so why not using some of the fantasy metals as an alloy? Though since I don’t know how they will react it could weaken the blade… ““Uuuu… I want to try it…””
I wonder if I can use magic to analyze their properties compared to to iron? After all I can focus on vibrations and mana easy enough so why not? Concentrating I sent a pulse of mana into both the iron alloy and the mithril, analyzing what I know about iron and comparing it to the mithril.

From what I can tell mithril is less like iron in structure and more like, surprisingly, silicon[1], being diamond structured unlike irons[2] body-centered. Does this mean I can replace it as the alloy for silicon in steel?
Curiously I scanned the structures or orichulum and adamantium, finding the former to be the same as titanium while the latter being more similar to tungsten and iron. If adamantium works similar then can I use it in replacement of tungsten in the steel alloy? Orichulum would make a good blunt weapon as unlike popular belief titanium is not good for holding a cutting edge, or even being able to be sharpened down that far. While some parts of it can be stronger and lighter than steel, in terms of sharpness titanium is worse than the crummiest of cutting steels.
Excitement now boiling in my gut I focused my mana and manipulated the metals, creating a main 1.5 meter long staff composed of two plain types of steel while the spear point was the same except with tungsten and silicon replaced with adamantium and mithril respectively. Meanwhile on the other end I attatched a Orichulum knob, made the same way as an alloy of Titanium C4 with .05% nitrogen, .08% carbon, .015% hydrogen, and .4% oxygen. (C4 Titanium is the strongest and most durable of the C types.) Through the whole weapon I inserted three thin mithril wires to add conductivity.
Finished I lifted up the weapon and admired it. A plain steel grey staff with a four cen diameter, a 30 cen long black/blue/red spear blade at one end and a golden colored six cen diameter knob at the other end.
I reveled as mana rippled the air around it as I spun it, and a urge to smash something in tingled in my arms as I held it.
“Master, I’ve completed the staff as you asked.” Flysa called, jolting me out of my reverie.
““Ah. Let me see it.”” Heading out of the hole I was met face to face with a crouching Flysa, who kindly held out a black wooden staff nearly double my height. Holding it I nearly dropped the thing due to its unexpected weight. Lifting it with two hands I sent my magical power into it, and found it easily take in and store my mana inside it.
The structure was extremely dense wood, with most of the cells forming a matrix throughout it, amplifying and storing magical power poured into it. Nodding I turned to take it into my hole, but forgot about the length of it. Sighing I levitated what was left of the metal cubes outside and began working to make a glaive. Creating a blade similar in composition to my spear’s except much larger and lower adamantium concentration, then fused the large axe-sword to the end of the pole, creating a decent glaive.
Tilting my head to the side I looked at our two weapons and thought of something. Pulling mana out of my first tail I poured it into the two weapons. Instantly the air around them started to vibrate and emit pressure. Holding the steady flow of mana I waited till I had used up half of my tail one’s pool and then stopped. *ting~

I blinked in surprise. Name the new weapon? Umu, for my spear let’s go with Raphael, and for the glaive let's go with Appoloin. *ting~
You have created a S|D-Rank sentient Magic weapon Raphael!

Sentient weapons? I blinked in surprise and scratched my left head. Overload regalia did say it could grant sentience.
“Eh!?” Flysa’s eyes widened, “Master it spoke!”
I glanced at her before picking up the two weapons and tossing her Appoloin. Raphael, can you hear me?
“Yes master.” A heavenly female voice gently surged in my conscious, “What is it you request of me?”
I smiled and looked at the spear in my hand, nothing right now, just checking to make sure you’re awake. I felt Raphael smile and nod in the back of my head. Meanwhile Flysa was talking outloud to Appoloin, causing me to smile wryly.
“You know she can hear your thoughts right?” I teased her.
“Eh?” She blinked at me before staring intently at Appoloin, who I imagined to be smiling wryly at this point. Soon a large beautiful smile bloomed across Flysa’s face, “This is amazing master.” She turned to me with love glowing in her eyes, “thank you.”
Blushing I turned my heads in opposite directions and scratched my left cheek while muttering “its nothing.”
Flysa giggled before smiling happily at me, “Shall we go hunting master?”
Breathing deeply I collected myself and nodded with my left head while looking to the exit with my right, “Ye, let’s go.”
