I read over the quest window and sighed, “I’ll do my best, but we need to prepare first.”
Regina straightened her back diplomatically and wore a serious expression, “What do we need?” “Hmph, We? This girl should be licking our feet!” The girl in my head screamed in frustration, while the woman seemed to salivating; “He~y He~y were going to cut people soon right~?”
Raising a finger I started listing points, “First, we have no healer or crowd control. While both of us can deal out enough damage, neither of us can heal. So I’ll need to summon another spirit to help with that.
Also I am guessing your attacks are purely light- even with your noble phantasm- which means some of the creatures will simply be immune to your attacks. While I can deal with both light and wind, that doesn’t mean a spirit can’t have both attributes; or am I wrong?”
Regina frowned, “It is possible. After all the sovereign is believed to have all the main elements, but having more than one is extremely rare.”
“Nonetheless,” I continued while predicting all the scenario’s I could think of, “We should still prepare for it. It is better to be ready for something that never happens than to be helpless for something that does.” I sighed and looked at her, “Is there anyway to increase the power of the spirit summoned?”
Regina nodded, “Yes, but it requires blood. Luckily we have an altar or else we wouldn’t be able to do it. Also...” She shifted hesitantly, “The power you give the spirit will not remain unless you form a bond with it.”
“That is fine, we just need to reach an agreement.” I said and crawled over to the altar, “Now tell me how to do this ritual.”
She sighed and nodded, “It is like a normal spirit summoning, except you are using the altar as a conduit and your blood as a catalyst.”
I took out my skinning knife and cut my hand open, letting the blood dribble down onto the altar a bit before I started to hum and attune the frequency of my mana. A second later energy started crackling through my spilled blood as the altar trembled lightly. Finished attuning my mana I pushed it through the altar and penetrated the veil to the spirit plane. Come. I closed my eyes and focused on relaying my requirements and intentions. Serve me.
Gently I felt a tug on the other end and started pulling- but to my surprise the spirit on the other hand started to climb the strand, pullings itself along and emerging into the world. Instantly my mana started to get sucked up. My blood crackled and lifted off the altar, even go so far as to gently leak out into the air and form a small orb that warped and twisted the space around it.
My eyes widened in shock as I felt a familiar presence gently waft into me, the first presence to ever truly embrace me, “...Flysa…?” My mana kept churning out of my body, but I barely noticed it as a the being infront of me finally took form. Dozens of brown unpolished rocks formed a loose, floating core surrounded by constantly warping space, as if tearing the fabric of reality to fly. *ting~

We will meet again...
Utter Devotion
“Master~” The ball of rocks affectionately rubbed up against me and a stupid grin spread across my face as I pulled her into my hands.
“I-Ijus!” Regina stared at Flysa- or Fl’isa now- in amazement, “W-what is...?”
Fl’isa’s focus shifted to Regina and happiness poured off her body, “I am master’s protection~” She said with her strangely echoing yet warm voice.
Regina looked between me and her in confusion, “U-um, is she just eccentric or…” Confusion splayed across her features.
“We met in another world.” I answered simply, stroking the soft barrier of space that surrounded her core.
“Eh?” Regina’s eyes widened, “Ijus, you’re a traveler!?” She then realized something else, “That would mean this spirit is a traveler as well?”
“I don’t know if Fl’isa can be considered a traveler, but that is what I am.” I answered while smiling sillily at Fl’isa’s new purr; the space around her body vibrating in comfort.
“Then… How long have you been in this world?” She asked curiously.
I blinked and pulled up the clock on my HUD, which it displayed the irl time I have been playing was five hours, while the time in game was over 20. Huh, 1 to 4 ratio. “Approximately twenty hours now.”
Regina looked at me in blank amazement, “U-um, can I ask for your level?”
I smirked at her, “It’s only thirteen.”
She blinked in surprise, checked her own body for a moment, looked back at me with a questioning expression; “The power this body has from you is at least from someone with a level over forty.”
I smiled wryly, “My stats are kind of bloated.” She raised an eyebrow and I shrugged in response. “My bonuses per level are rather high.”
“I see.” She then shrugged with a sigh, then returned her questioning glance to Flysa. “Am… Am I mistaken or does she have both high earth and high darkness attributes?”
“High attributes?”
Regina sighed, “Yes. Each element has multiple specializations; and from what I can sense she doesn’t only have two elements, but both of them are high types.”
I nodded, “Yeah she does.” I turned to Flysa’s status window again and looked at her skills, a grin spreading across my face, “And she fits both the healing and crowd control types we needed.”
However what exaclty is my status at the moment? Curiously I brought it up.

A large improvement from when I was level two, though my skills simply aren’t up to par. I would like to get both Polearm and Sword mastery up to proficient, if not advanced. I am probably going to have to grind them up, which is going to be tedious in its own right. Luckily they have been leveling up every battle in order to match my actual technique.
I will also have to get my class skills higher as well, I should probably summon a party of different elemental spirits in order to both level up and help with this dungeon.
Nodding to myself I went back to the altar, I wasn’t going to blood summon this time but more party members would be a gift I won’t refuse.
