Laying down the half-eaten boar on the inside of my base I quickly used some magic to rid myself of the water and sweat. *ting~
You have gained the trait [Enhanced Strength]
You have gained the trait [Enhanced Balance]
Through [Assimilation] Flysa has gained the trait [Ferocity]
Flysa has leveled up! Evolution is now pending for Flysa...
Grinning I turned to the corpse, which Flysa had done a good job of digesting; increasing her size to (big). “Alright Flysa, you can stop devouring it now.”
Flysa let go of the corpse and rolled over to me, with her diameter as long as I was tall. Affectionately she bumbped into me and I felt magic fly through the air, healing my sore muscles. Smiling wryly I gently pet her smooth outer membrane, which due to [Hard Hide] was about as thick as the length of my pinky finger. The pink core inside her throbbed in pleasure, blue mana lightning arcing through her body and tingling the fur on my hand.
Now then lets try this; “Show evolution paths.” *ting~
Evolution Paths available for either [ Manarrus Lupinai (Baby) ] or [ {Flysa} Magplenus Sano Slimeus (Big) ] ?
I smiled, “Shall we see what you can evolve into?”, Show paths for Flysa. *ting~
Evolution Paths {Flysa}
Magplenus Sano Slimeus (Big)
Magplenus Magnasano Slimeus (medium)
A greater healing slime with extremely high mana levels. Is capable of learning greater healing magics.
Magplenus Shashift Sano Slimeus (medium)
A type of healing slime capable of mimicking things it senses with extremely high mana levels.
Magihigh Sano Slimeus (medium)
A type of healing slime with highly potent magic and extremely high mana levels. Is capable of learning other forms of magic besides healing.
Magplenus Naturae Sano Slimeus (Small)
A nature attuned healing slime with extremely high mana levels. Is capable of learning nature and growth magics.
While stroking Flysa’s membrane I looked over her options. The second choice seems to allow her to grow closer to human form, however right now that would not have much use. Though she would be able to transform into other shapes I think that can be obtained with practice. I frowned, The magihigh one can use other magic besides healing, but is very general. Leaving the greater healing magic or nature magics… Coming to a descision I selected the latter.
*ting~
Flysa will evolve into a Magplenus Naturae Sano Slimeus after resting!
I looked to her, “You see that? Go rest and evolve.” and gave her a gentle push, but she shivered in refusal and stuck closer to me, her flexible membrance wrapping around my waist. I smiled wryly and decided to let her do what she wanted and quickly opened up my own evolution paths.

Manarrus Werewolf (Baby)
A steel-furred werewolf.
Quickly I read through the list and sighed at the lack of information given by the window. There’s even less than Flysa’s… Well no matter. Curiously I looked through what interested me and narrowed it down to a few options. Aeblood Lupiner, Aeblood Fuxinai, Manarrus Otherlupinai, or Magihigh Othrofuxinai all interest me. Though being a type of wolf-centaur would be cool the demerits to having four legs at all time are enough to bring me away from it.
Having aether in my blood-whatever that is- and having it nourish my body instead of food sounds useful, and probably is but for now I’ll leave that option due to the possibility of having two heads; and I like foxes more than wolves, leaving Magihigh Othrofuxinai for my decision. *ting~
You will evolve in Magihigh Othrofuxinai when you next rest.
Smiling I looked down at Flysa who was still clinging to my waist, “Shall we rest for the night?” I asked and she shivered in confirmation. I glanced at the boar corpse before moving over to my makeshift bed. If I grow any larger I’m going to have to expand it…
I laid down and Flysa happily rolled ontop of me and flattened herself over me. I smiled wryly as she started vibrating in pleasure, or is it better to say purring?
With thoughts absently floating through my head I gently fell into slumber. *ting~

““Uuth”” I groaned and lifted my heads, two different visions entering my mind at the same time. One head looked to the entrance and squinted against the bright evening light while the other checked on Flysa who was happily purring on my chest, now tinted a greenish-white with blue lightning arcing through her body.
Smiling that the evolution turned out okay while grunting at the bright light outside I raised my upper body, causing Flysa to roll into my lap. Examining my body for changes I quickly found myself to be more lithe, my muscles either condensed or shrunken. My fur was still pure snow white while blue electricity occasionally zapped through it, though now it seemed softer than before. My tail also changed, now as nearly long as I am tall and very fluffy.
Curiously I looked at my surroundings and concentrated both my consciouses, wielding my mana and causing two balls of earth to separate from the ground and float on opposite sides of my body. Toothily grinning I let the balls of earth fall to the ground. Guess I can easily multi-task now.
With a huff I scooped up Flysa and stood, noting my height increased again, now probably around 40 cen tall. I’m going to have to expand my bed again. Moving over to the boar I gently let Flysa down on the ground and ripped out a chunk of flesh for myself, biting it with one of my heads.
Oddly enough my other head got jealous of myself, salivating slightly, so I took a bite with it, satisfying my dual needs. While chewing both mouths I pondered my course of action from here.
I wanted to explore the world. Maybe eventually settle down somewhere with a wife or two. However at the moment I probably am nowhere near powerful enough to accomplish either of the two. For now I will make this alcove my base, and to do such I need to reinforce it, heavily.
Munching on the raw boar meat I moved over to the entrance and gathered mana in my arms before waving them in the air, sending countless tendrils into the ground and pulling out the earth under the water, creating a depression in front and a wall of stone spikes behind. On one side I created a ladder by placing indents in the wall. Using the spare stone I created thin, condensed pillars that reached up to the ceiling. Deeper inside I used the earth around the base of the pillars to create them, in the process making wells in the ground that could be used to store things.
Going to the back I made a tunnel to the surface with a sliding stone trapdoor, which I took the opportunity to pump full of mana with the purpose to harden it. Though I don’t know if the amount of mana will attract predators… I hope there isn’t something that likes to eat mana, though considering the possible Aeblood evolutions could survive on it it wouldn’t surprise me. Let’s just hope there is none near this area…
Finishing up the general outline I turned to Flysa to find the boar corpse almost completely devoured. *ting~
Through [Assimilation] Flysa has gained the trait [Dig]!
Flysa has gained four levels!
Flysa’s body size has changed to (big)!
You have gained the trait [Magic Architect]!
[Earth Magic] has evolved into [Earth Magic (Greater)]
You have gained a level!
I raised an eyebrow on either head, so I can gain levels from things other than combat? Interesting. Moving to Flysa I sighed in amazement at her size. She was now a bit taller than me, which reminds me, I’m going to have to expand the trapdoor when I get bigger… Sighing I smiled wryly and looked to the exit, the setting sun dying the waters a dark orange.
““Shall we get going, Flysa?””
*Pyruun!
