Chapter 31
In front of Yan was a small child, no more than ten years old. Blonde hair, and pale skin. Yan could see a wound on the small childs chest.
He didn’t expect to find a child while he walked through the island. But when he looked at this child, the aura around him was intense. Blue energy was surrounding him and it covered a lot of space.
This energy was more than anyone Yan has encountered so far.
The small child opened his eyes and looked in Yan’s direction. Yan could felt cold when that child looked at him. He didn’t know why, but this may have been the first time he couldn’t take a step forward.
“To think the one to sense me was a mortal? No… a hybrid?” The small child said.
“Who are you, and I am not a hybrid.” Yan replied.
“I can see the flickers of energy soaring through your body, yet you don’t possess much Qi. Where i’m from, we call your types hybrids. Granted, there was only one before you.”
“That didn’t answer my question, who are you?” Yan asked once more but in a more serious tone.
“I am god… Ignel.”
A real god? Yan couldn’t be too sure if this kid was telling the truth or lying. If he was a god, that would explain how he had such an air around him. But if this kid was a god, why was he down here in this realm?
The heavens and earth are separate, there is a way to cross over as long as you ascend to godhood. But, as for a god coming to earth, there was no such thing.
“And, why are you down here?” Yan asked.
“I was banished.” He said blunlty.
“You were banished to the earth? Aren’t gods suppose to be almighty and powerful?”
“Ha, gods are like mortals. We are nothing in face of our Sire, just like you mortals are nothing compared to cultivators.” Ignel said with a light laugh. “Banished to this place. If I knew this was going to happen, I would have killed the whole lot of them. And to think, as time ticks, my strength diminishes.”
There was a moment of silence before Ignel spoke again. “How about we help each other out?”
Yan’s interest was piqued. It is not everyday that you come across a god that would help you out. “What do you need?”
The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings.
“Smart kid if you disagreed I would have killed you in an instant. As you can see, i’m not in much of a shape to move. I just need certain items to cure this blasted wound and I should be able to slowly regain my strength. Then i’ll need help of an inscription master to help me lift this dreaded curse. The body of a small child? How dare they? This is worse than death itself. To contain me, Ignel in the body of a child… Do these things, and i’ll help you solve your current dilemma.” Ignel expalined.
“What delima?”
“I called you a hybrid, but your body is currently unstable am I correct? The hybrid before could be considered perfect, I happen to know a way to help you stabilize your power. I guarantee that once you do that, you’ll be unbeatable under the heavens. Naturally, second to me.”
Yan crossed his arms, “What makes you think I couldn’t just leave you here after you stabilize my power?”
“I’m not stupid kid, I won’t do anything unless you sign a Soul Contract with me. That way, if you break your word, your soul will shatter and you’ll instantly die. But even then, do you really think you could just escape here?” As Ignel said that, a golden light shined over Yan’s body.
It felt as if his whole body was being cleansed. From bone to flesh, everything inside of him felt like it was being made new.
It was a pleasant feeling for him.
The light lasted no more than one minute before it disappeared. A small crystal ball appeared in Ignel’s hand. Yan knew what it was, he had a good feeling that, that was the Soul Contract Ignel talked about.
“To think, the person who sensed my presence would be a mortal. Either he has a strong perception, or the cultivators in this realm are all trash.” Ignel thought to himself as he started standing up.
“The contract has been made, I made it while I helped you with your delmina. Let's go, i’ve been stuck on this island for sixty years already.”
Yan didn’t like the pace Ignel was going, Yan was being drawn into it. It was not good for him to get caught up in this guy's pace.
“Don’t look so down kid, I just want to go home and get revenge. This world means nothing to me, and I could care less about your goals. So don’t look like that.” As Ignel said that, he was already in front of Yan.
Yan was able to track him, but even then Ignel seemed like he only took one step to reach him. He couldn’t believe it, was this the speed of a god?
“Should I fly us up, or should you?” Ignel asked with a slight grin on his face.
“Don’t act so arrogant, if you could fly out of here you would have done so long ago. What was the point of waiting around here until now?” Yan asked.
“I was banished to this island, therefore I couldn’t leave. But due to the soul contract you could say our faiths are tied together now, therefore I am no longer bound here.”
As Yan was going to ask something else, Ignel placed his hand on Yan’s arm. A spark flashed past his eyes, and like a thunderstorm was coming black clouds appeared in the sky. With a giant Boom, it struck the Red Dawn pirates ship.
Leah, Vixen, and Dex rushed to the sound only to see a dust of smoke.
Leah placed her hand in front of the two letting them know they should say back.
She had never felt such tremendous energy before, even her grandfather couldn’t emit it. She wanted to doubt that this energy belonged to an Immortal, but she knew it had to.
“Who are you?” She asked.
There was a small silence as the dust dissipated revealing two figures.
“God… Ignel.” The young blond child said.
