POV Asmo
I watched fight through security cameras. These guys were wizards. They shot lightning and fire. They trashed Diana. They fought in cooperation as a team. They were real power. I couldn’t hear their conversation, but I saw, that they defeated Diana even through words. I enjoyed their fight. But there was also bitterness in me.
Why was I so different, than them? I, all cultists actually, started using [Will resonance] from the beginning. We had some progress, as it was nice to mix in people heads, but then there was stop, wall, regress even.
I tried [Flow bending] to create telekinetic effect, but it didn’t work. I stopped thinking about it completely with time.
Nobody in Ahriman’s Order had any substantial results with magic. Some cultists tried adding incantations to rituals. Some tried to made themselves similar to seeds, so they cultivated cannibalism. They got no power from those practices.
We went to Ahriman’s Order for power. I chose Diana’s group, as she was most powerful and confident in her actions. What I’ve got in return? What cultists got? Ahriman’s Order was no good, cursed organization, that weakened its members, in my eyes.
That moment, when I knew, that Unlimited Devas defended me from Diana, I decided to serve Unlimited Devas, as they would see, fitted them. I wanted to be one of them in future. I wanted to follow path of strength.
POV Coal
We attacked cultists to stop them from helping Diana. They weren’t dangerous as fighters in our eyes, but they could be used as shields. Even more troublesome would be, if anyone from them died. En was very afraid, that breaking ancient stone laws could destroy Unlimited Devas in long run.
We were able to slow them down. Our traps worked. But they could stop cultists only for a while. We pressed, as they were entangled in nets of ropes.
We used [Will resonance], when we close the distance. It was meant to be distraction, mental smoke screen, nothing else. It worked differently, that we expected.
Somehow, [Will resonance] was their weak point. I used [Will resonance] quite often on normal people, when I was spying. I knew, that every human had some resistance against it. Some better, some worse. Those guys, cultists, had the lowest resistance, I met with. It was a lot lower, than resistance of random people.
We pressured them and ordered them, to surrender, with suggestions enhanced by [Will resonance]. We shot others with paintballs guns, used [Will resonance] and repeated. After few rounds, we had brainwashed six cultists, that felt lost and surrendered. They just sat down, put hands on their heads and watched battle against Diana.
I was sure, that will defense decreasing mixtures were used on them. They were brainfucked, probably by Diana. That moment I understood, why Ahriman’s Order was so inconsistent. There was cancer inside it, that was eating on hosts potential to develop.
I had mixed feelings. From one side, I was happy, as it made cultists weaker and their organization became empty inside. On the other side, it was tragedy for these humans, I sympathized with them a little.
We, ma and Lily, tied their hands with ropes. We wanted to observe battle too.

We lost. Even Diana, Voice of Ahriman, was defeated by magic. They didn’t finish her up. They talked with her, unfortunately, we couldn’t hear them clearly.
She came for us. Unlimited Devas people maintained distance from us and her.
-= There is pact, - She said. – I took with Unlimited Devas. They have three weeks, to show me their point. If they fail in that task, they will became my servants. Isn’t it right? – She loudly asked group that defeated her.
-= It is right. – They answered.
We were confused. Was she winner after all? Was it something she said, when they overpowered her.
-= Part of the pact is, that we won’t do any hostile actions against them. So we leave tonight, and leave traitor for another time. – She untied our ropes. In fact, she untied two people and they untied rest of us. - Let’s go.
We moved behind her, as she was done with tonight’s battle. She was hurt by fireballs and lightning, but not enough to have problems with moving. We would go back to temporary base at motel.
I purposedly cough on some loose ropes lying on the ground. I fell down. Nobody stopped or turned back to help me. I waited for a moment, as they passed me and moved away. I got up and run in reverse direction. Battle team set defense formation.
-= I surrender! – I screamed. – I want to surrender to Unlimited Devas.
I kneeled before them with hands on my head. I heard Diana’s poisoned words.
-= So he was spy, that pass our secrets. If there’s another spy, shall he step up.
-= We take your surrender. – Said someone from Devas. – Now, you are in our hands.
I was afraid, that Diana would somehow get me back to cult. She just left without word. Oh, she told something to other cultists, but I couldn’t hear her clearly.
Women, Lily, came and told me, that she would take care of me, till they wouldn’t be sure, that I wasn’t double spy, double agent. I was taken out of that farm.
POV Bear
In the morning we were informed, that Diana was forced back. We had pact with her, since that moment. She was stupid, in my eyes, since pact was obvious distraction. When we would have more hosts, on higher level, and counter to her strength, we would be safe from her clutches anyway. And we had new candidates for recruits for Associated Devas.
We had another big meeting of Unlimited Devas on following day. I wanted it faster, but they needed to sleep off day for night.
I used that day time, to visit farm, talk with Asmo, and watch recordings from security cameras. I didn’t expect, what I uncovered.
They were fluent in magic. All three of them. En, Lynx and Sith. My plans for domination crumbled. If I was on Diana’s place during battle, I would be destroyed by first attacks. The three of them could rule by power. They were counter against Diana, but we had no counter against them.
I felt weak, when I thought, that I had plan to enter conflict with En, to intercept his authority. I would be wiped out then, I was sure about it.
All three of them didn’t like me. I thought of a way, to made on them impression, that I was harmless. I couldn’t find a way. I was on their list of things to screw over, I was sure about that.
Was there better option, than becoming screw over. I was enlightened. I should screw myself over on my own terms. I should act, before they start campaign against me.
POV Stephen, LGBT guy
One day, when I was listening to voice in my head, I remembered to myself, that I exist. It was strange to exist. I forgot about existing few moments later. But then, after some time, I awaken again. I awaken, that I was. That I existed.
I was different from before. In my head, I was different. I had lot of confusion.
If I was different, I needed new name. I named myself Legibot. There was this entity, that was whispering in my dreams. Sometimes even when I was awaken. I started to hear it warily. I called it John, to remember something important, but I couldn’t remember, what it was. Sometimes parts of my mind didn’t communicate properly. I laughed loudly, when I thought, that it was funny, that I wasn’t able to communicate with me properly. Sometimes I cried loudly instead.
I was almost sure, that my inner communication was healing itself.
POV Tom, pharmacy
Some big, foreign corporation was interested in buying companies, that was involved with circulatory medicine. It was obvious, that our clients started to talk with rich men from other societies. It was inevitable, as we got to big sell out.
If this corporation knew something, they would start to sniffing around. They would be more aggressive than me, as they were big and mighty. I needed to inform Nameless, that another player was on court. I send him massage with request for private talk. He answered after longer time, than expected, but we were appointed.
What I was afraid, was, that in the end, he would ditch us for that corporation. I wanted to show, that it wouldn’t be in his best interest, to do that. It was in our best interest to stay in the game, as we were earning millions.
