POV Main
I met with Mirror in Monday. We ate in Basilisk restaurant at Old City. It’s quite cheap one, but food is great. We talked about money and business. I wanted to make good impression, but not to overdo it. I was torn inside. On one side I was attracted to her, on the other I wanted to be seen as worth of admiration and deeper feelings. It was recipe for disaster.
I don’t know, in how many relationships you were. Maybe you’re smarter emotionally than me. Maybe you would laugh at my troubles. I just know, that physical attraction is important. On the long run it’s less important than other things. Sure. But everybody starts from short run, which maybe will develop into middle run and then long run. I know from experience, that, if your feelings are blocking you from more physical relation, then there is a problem. And it’s most likely in your head. Sure, too much physical activity at the expense of feelings is not good either.
I was afraid, I fell in - I want to be loved trap. I knew, that if I liked someone I should show it openly. If I fell in love, I should be clear about it too. If I was waiting for someone to fell in love with me, then I was starting to build toxic relation. It meant, I was afraid to be hurt and was trying to set up feelings for another. Nobody in the end is happy, when it shows, that feelings were manipulated. I wouldn’t be happy. I would be angry. I was angry more than once.
So, she didn’t join Unlimited Devas. We agreed on two trades. With possibility to do more at later date. She was quite nice, talked a lot, smiled a lot, but there was this distance I could feel. The strongest I felt it, was when she complimented me, that my enchanted stone developed to another stage. There was fear and suspicion. Or I was mistaken.
She had her stone with her, I had mine.

Her stats were good in comparison to new levels two, but not so great, if you thought, that she had head start.
I bought first batch from her. She was very glad, that I sent her money immediately after.
After this failed date, I thought, that if any romantic relation was possible, it wouldn’t be lovestruck kind of relation between us.
What could I say? I knew it before. Maybe I forgot? Live made me remember. There is only one good prince, it is dead prince. Don’t try to be prince, if you want to be happy.
POV Adam, Ahriman’s Order
My uncle got his own demonic entity. He spend for this honor vast part of his fortune. Almost all his money was transferred to Diana. He had his business, but it would take time to earn cash again.
Worst, it took about week for my uncle to come back to himself. Backlash wasn’t so terrible like for this girl, which landed in hospital, but it was prolonged and unpredictable in its attacks. Uncle was losing feeling of himself and then walking without aim for hours. At some point, I even thought that effects were strengthening. I went to Diana for help that day. She did nothing, and I was denied to take uncle to hospital. These days uncle even between attacks was with one leg out of reality.

It all passed, but I remembered since, that cult is not a family.
POV Main
We, Unlimited Devas were as Napoleon in his golden age. We got money. We registered business company. We bought farm near War-Saw and livestock. We bought house in suburbs. We even created series of lectures about our philosophy. I could throw myself into work to forget myself.
It was going well for second levels. Dee’s capacity was higher and I felt that we should feed more daily. It meant, that I should find access to fresh human bodies. I bought crematorium funeral home. It took two days to install machinery for snatching bodies. It was worth it, because it worked. I needed to be in place to take over bodies. I didn’t have trusted helper and others had their own tasks. Pigs flesh was enough for bio-stones on second level. They didn’t want to take risks. They all knew what I was doing.
I even had conversation with Bear. He tried to attack me from moral point of view, but I asked for any other morally better method. He couldn’t find one.
There was not very many cremations in Poland. Just few hundred thousand yearly. They were mostly done in big cities. I didn’t have to work much in funeral home. I got one or two bodies weekly.
POV Lily
Bureaucracy wasn’t hard. Just time consuming. I needed to go there, sign this. Consult with someone. Pay administration fees. Provide papers. Sign in lawyers presence. Then repeat, if needed. Not something that looked like proper work.
Together with Huntress we hired remote accountant. Our mixtures would be delivered by hired security to pharmacy company.
The best was, that after I did my daily responsibilities I could go shopping. After I hired my own receptionist to stay in office.
I took care of gossips too. There is no serious company without gossips. So Huntress was following Bear or so they said. Nameless had some setback and lost much of his usual energy. He was working it out. Sith and Lynx were haunting War-Saw night clubs. I was moving to capital.
Out of company gossips were not much. Girls from my original group wasn’t aiming to much. Paladin contacted me to ask, if everything was ok, but didn’t provide anything. There was some changes in Ahriman’s Order, but Sith’s contact didn’t elaborate.
Our bio-stones were growing steadily. I called mine Kelly. I knew others had names for theirs stones too. I was working to know them. Nameless’ Dee was obvious.
I was happy. Maybe happy wasn’t best describing word, but after all my troubles, I was in place, where I felt safe and could decide, what to do. I wasn’t in debt and toxic relations anymore.
POV Coal
Lynx was waiting for me at the farm. My ritual altar, bio-stone as they call it, was there. I needed to spend some time by it. I already felt beginning of backlash. Luckily I was almost there.
My ritual altar was in big bucket filled with pigs blood and flesh. I sat down on stock of hay. Lynx left me, because he knew I needed time to recover. I needed few hours at least. After two hours I felt reconnected enough to talk. I called Lynx. He came back.
-= You’re all right, buddy? – He asked.
-= Yeah. I made it before backlash.
-= What do you want to say, which you couldn’t send by messages?
-= Diana is changing in some kind of monster. – I said.
-= Kind of monster? Unhuman monster?
-= No. My connection said, that she literally grew up. She looks like bodybuilder, but not so dry. And she have another mouth at stomach.
Lynx sat down. He was in rubber boots, as he liked to be a farmer. He even joked once, that all zombie movies were stupid, as one farmer with a fork could defeat all zombies. Not fork for eating, but fork for hay stacking.
-= We should consult our bio-stones. – He said. – Maybe En would know, what is happening.
I agreed inside, but didn’t say anything.
-= Do you have anything more?
-= She is eating people.
-= En said, that it’s most efficient way, so it was only expected from someone without morals to eat people.
-= You don’t understand me. She only eats people. Feasts on human flesh only. Before she kills her victims, she is playing with them and torturing them. Screams are heard in half of the mansion, even after they used some mute screens in her rooms.
-= Ech, - He breathed heavily. – it seems that her psychosis centered around demon theme is going further.
-= It’s not psychosis! She has second muzzle, second jaws. She is not human anymore.
-= Ok, ok. I think we need to call meeting of shareholders and discuss this matter there. Rest of us is in War-Saw anyway. When could you join us?
I had some things to do in Silesia.
-= I can be here in three days.
-= Ok, so initially let’s book meeting in three days.
-= There is one more topic for the meeting. – I said.
-= What is it?
-= My connection is thinking about leaving Ahriman’s Order. He knows it won’t be easy, as Diana is revengeful person. He asked, if I could help, for exchange he would provide more information.
-= What kind of information?
-= All he knows.
-= Is he this desperate?
-= He is.
-= I hope you didn’t promise him, that he would join us eventually?
-= No. I don’t want him among us. He, all cultists, did awful things.
-= Maybe we should create outer circle for Devas. Something like Associated Devas for tainted by stupidity or not fully trusted.
I nodded. I was tired.
-= I will go. Do you want something? – He asked.
-= Warm meal would be great.
After half an hour some pretty girl brought dinner for me. There was gossip, that Lynx met her in some night club, and now she was working on farm.
I memorized all gossips, as there could be truth amongst them. It was my task, as I was silent shareholder in Unlimited Devas company. I was spy.
