Adrian sobbed and endured five days of insecurity while hiding under the soil. Finally, he managed to create one bullet.
“Two more days… the promised time.” He sighed and covered his face with his palms. He chuckled after a while looking like a bitter gourd.
“One bullet to kill Crime Lord. I can do it.” He put on a wry smile. Hanging his head down, he felt defeated.
“The test has now begun.” Adrian became serious. “I can only patrol the periphery. Once I enter for sure, I will be subjected to the Crime Lord’s radiation. They said the area of radiation is eighty to one hundred meters around the latter.”
Fuuu. Exhaling so much air, he grabbed a set of items. A notebook, a pen, and a large piece of paper. His feet tapped on the ground, leaving a pair of footprints that was soon buried by the sand.

Huff. Not long after, his heart raced all of a sudden. He couldn’t believe his eyes! Wiping them, he gawked at the magnificent sight.
Below the foot, he saw a beautiful oasis!
“Wait! This is a trap!” He quickly backed up and pulled out a dagger from a pocket.
Then, he lay on the ground and waited for to time passed.
He fought the heavy lids of his eyes and contested with the boiling sand. It had been eight hours but there was still no movement whatsoever on the oasis.
This made Adrian frown so hard.
“Sure enough, it was a trap.” He gulped down while trying not to think about his parched throat and dry lips.
“Well then. I’ll just continue.” As a survivor, he knew that the more peaceful or beautiful a place or animal was, the stronger and more dangerous it is!
