Two humans trekked on the sandy earth. It had been sixteen hours since they started. But they knew how important planning was.
“My ability is to create bullets.” Adrian hehe’d. “It’s quite a useless ability because it had a demanding requirement for its user. I had to train for a couple of years just to get to army forces’ standards.”
He recalled his fierce teacher and chuckled. “If not for someone to drill my bones, I wouldn’t be able to survive in this god-forsaken world.”
“In addition, I can only create one bullet after five days of accumulation. It was fucking slow. So, it isn’t good for large-scale operation either.”
Tristan’s ivory teeth showed under his helmet. “Based on the Towns’ Management Manual, your ability is Low-Tier. It’s alright.”
Tristan patted his shoulder. Adrian went speechless.
“Mine is a Mid-Tier. It’s superbly balanced. The only weakness is I need to wear armor. If I wear armor, my strength, agility, and defense will be boosted. But I didn’t have a high degree attack.”

“Aha!” Adrian pointed at him. “My bullet can tear through tanks!”
“…” Tristan snorted in laughter.
“I saw a peaceful oasis earlier.” Adrian hinted. “Do you think we can ambush that bastard there?”
Tristan responded with his sword. “What’s in there?”
“Danger.” The gunman could only bite the bullet. He felt the oasis was dangerous and maybe able to become their ace.
“Not enough.” Tristan’s helmet shook. “Just how many people you think died trying? Tens? Hundreds?”
“Some of them are far stronger, more prepared, and have enough manpower.”
Adrian knew that too. He hesitated for a moment before sighing. “I have a trump card. But I estimated that it can only take a chunk of its health.”
The armored man pondered. “So, you think to use outside help and tired that monster out.”
Nods. Adrian continued. “Anyway, I can use this chance as a trial run. I also can use you as an example. How are you doing by the way?”
“I am dying.” Before Adrian could feel sad, Tristan added more words.
“But I am also living.”
Adrian grinned and deeply respected this comrade he had just gotten to know.
While the two were chatting, all of a sudden, the sand started vibrating. It was soft at first, but it became louder and larger by the second!
Adrian’s face changed. “Those things…”
Tristan hurried to his side before dragging him. The former soon recovered and also ran after his comrade.
“Shit! Shit!” The duo began cursing inside. From their backs, a flood of Desert Lunatics raged through the land!
