“Hmph!” Two bullets fired at the same time. The lion was fast though and lifted his paws to block. Nonetheless, just before the bullets made contact, they curved in an extreme manner!

The lion hurried to salvage the situation. But two bullets going from separate angles proved to be fatal!

Thud!

The lion became a corpse. Adrian kept running though. He was being chased by a pride of angry Sand Lions!

He wiped the sweat on his forehead. He couldn’t help but be angry. “Damn! I’ll let loose! Let’s see if you can still chase me!”

Fortunately, his rationale won against him. Only a few days left to the promised time. Thus, he didn’t have enough time to create more bullets. He couldn’t waste it on small fries.

“I’m gonna run! As if I was afraid of running?! Run! Run!” He gritted his teeth and his eyes became bloodshot. Staring at the tall mountain before him, he chanted the word run to hypnotize himself.

“Fudge! Why the distance isn’t closing?” Adrian didn’t know that the fatigue and heat made him hallucinate.

Only when he was still running for one more hour did he wake up. He quickly slapped his cheeks and bit his finger to prevent himself from hallucinating again. This time, he estimated the distance carefully.

Another hour passed by; the Sand Lions still chose to go after Adrian. As for him, he was close to dehydration and collapse.

But he held on! He thought he could have plenty of rest after he outran these beasts.

Yet, the day had passed but the chase remained ongoing!

“Why don’t you kill me?!” Adrian snapped back with realization and shouted inside himself. He looked back and, in his eyes, there was a cunning glow of the Sand Lions’ eyes.
