Chapter 42 – Adrian the Gunman

Chapter 42 – Adrian the Gunman

“Tsk. Waiter! Get me a jug of beer!” A man with a potbelly and a large gun shouted. He saw everyone looking at him with contempt. So, he sneered.

“What? Haven’t seen me, Adrian the Gunman? Hmph!”

Complete information about Adrian hadn’t found its way to many people. They only knew his name. Thus, they didn’t doubt him.

Seeing the former claiming himself as Adrian, the people of North Town could only shake their heads and sat on the corner. Looks like the gunman was arrogant…

The potbellied man licked his lips. He’d been using this identity from the last two towns and it felt great! People showered him with praise and became like a frightened deer in front of him!

“I, Adrian the Gunman, will drink this beer in one gulp!”

Woosh. Peng. The silent door opened unexpectedly. A gush of wind entered. Then, a pair of feet came into view.

Everyone became silent. They stared at the man wearing a windbreaker striding towards the bar. The intense aura they felt from him was so strong that they thought their throats drying.

He was just walking normally but they imagined a beast had entered the vicinity!

“That guy… is the real deal.”

The man who impersonated Adrian the Gunman fell silent and went to the side to spectate. His Adam’s apple bobbed up and down.

“Excuse me, Sir.” A man bowed at Adrian. The latter saw his scrutinizing eyes.

“Are you Adrian the Gunman.”

The latter nodded.

‘Can you come with me, Sir? This way, please.”

Everyone gawked at them with bated breath. They only woke up after the duo vanished in the darkness.

Adrian scanned everything while following behind him. He put on a wry smile. “At least this town had twenty or so people. The last one seems like a ghost town.”

Humanity only had five towns. To see a town having this many people was a happy event.

The man scrutinized Adrian’s expression and beamed. “Everyone is enthusiastic. Sir, you don’t know how much it meant for us fellow humans what you accomplished.”

Adrian let out a faint smile and muttered to himself.

“The first level of my plan. Success.”
