“We really didn’t take advantage of you because you are rich! Burp!” Andrea said with fierce eyes. But one could see how contented she was. She was so hungry earlier that she managed to eat everything in one swoop.
“This is so yummy!” Ally continued to eat and said innocently.
Ayanna smiled and maintained good poise. But she was also eating with gusto. “If my sister didn’t drag you, we won’t be able to eat such a delicious meal.”
Tocho pinched the bridge of his nose. He was speechless. The trio thought he was going to commit suicide. So, they dragged him towards a nearby fast food. They were going to treat him and discuss the ups and lows of the world.

But the trio only ordered one portion and handed it to him. He looked at their eager eyes and saliva-filled mouth yet they still urged him to finish eating.
“What’s wrong with me?” Tocho sighed.
“There’s nothing wrong with you.” Andrea nodded. He could see her careless and lazy expression.
Patting his shoulder, Andrea took a sip of tea. “My mom is a drug addict while my dad took his life. Maybe because he thought he has no future with us and felt embarrassed to leave a woman and a girl by themselves.”
“My mom is kind and sweet. She always brought friends home. Then, they left a lot of money after they exited mom’s room.” Ally pronounced with a smile. But Tocho could imagine the scene and he felt fortunate that Ally remained innocent.
Ayanna put down her utensils, sighed, and showed a weak smile. “My parents beat me if I didn’t do well in school. That’s why I run away.”
Tocho didn’t know what to say.
Andrea bumped his shoulder. “Don’t enclose yourself. We are not alone. We found each other, didn’t we?”
Tocho saw the smiles blossoming on their faces. He could feel their heartfelt feelings.
