THIRD PERSON POV
The silence in the Aego'arg'ha'nar that was deafening after the exit of the Arg'pheyso Ozai was broken by a curse from Seraphina. Her eyes burned with annoyance and anger.
"What?!". Everyone asked at the same time. She glared and made a fist with her left palm obviously still getting over how she was calmly caught. In her right hand, Talon was only now noticing her Yotk. He sighed mentally.
"We need to act". All eyes moved to the Aego who spoke. Lastfeather Sharpturn. He just like the other Aegon now looked younger and more muscular.
"The Arg'pheyso has added more fighters to the ranks for us. Everyone here was once an able-bodied and capable fighter". Waving at us he locked eyes with Blackfeather. "If the Arg'pheyso is indeed going to communicate with the hunters then we need to act quickly. Use the opportunity to get the reinforcements of the other village to attack against the raiders".
"A little problem with that plan Aego". Talon stepped forward and taking the map off the floor he spread it out.
"There are three paths*. He tapped each of the paths in the map. "Which has three squads of raiders. If the red ones wanted to remove our options of reinforcements they wouldn't take us one at a time". He looked up.
An Aego sighed. "What ..."
"Then we strike first ". All heads turned to Aeris who stared back. "The Arg'pheyso says. We strike first. Disturb their raiding party. The only chance to help the other villages is by taking out our raiding party and then reinforcing the others.
"There's too many of them. There's a reason we have the other villages to reinforce us. We're not the other territories". Brightblade Windsoarer murmured.
"No". This time it was Skyhorn who spoke. "We are different from the other territories. We have an Arg'pheyso. One who has blessed I and Aeris. We can do this. We will do this".
Areris pushed himself to his feet. "Just give the command and point us in the right direction".
Talon and the others shared glances.
"What exactly does this blessing do?". He asked. Both Argon looked at each other and then nodded.
"We believe this might be the secret to the Aerondam strength. It is suspicious. It has a lot of things to cover so we'll cover only the basics. I can fly better and longer. My Argannen possesses resilience and grants me healing powers. Thanks to the Arg'pheyso".
All eyes widened. Seraphina grunted. All eyes went to Skyborm who explained his capabilities as well.
"You mentioned being injured and you fighting to keep him safe". Blackfeather muttered. "He granted you blessings based on your needs and not your wants. Thankfully it was a continuous blessing ".
He turned to Seraphina. "Assign them tasks that put these blessings to use. Best to outfit them too with whatever we have. Talon!". Colorful and bright eyes locked on Talon. Talon stiffened. It had been a while since he had suffered such a gaze.
"Ar'pesa Arg'gar'sil(Gather the Warflock). Little in numbers we may be. Lowest of the Argonnen we might be. But now, it all changes. We won't be the Argonnen who remain weak and in their place even when an Arg'pheyso is here".
Blackfeather looked around the room. "If the Arg'pheyso gives us help then we take it and we use it. It's the height of foolishness for an Argonne to see an updraft and ignore it. We rise with the wind. This is a divine wind. And by the Ser'Tuk'Itan. We. Will. Ride It".
The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.
Talon stiffened again as this time Blackfeather faced Seraphina. "You are one of if not our greatest Argrarn and Arg'mar(warrior). Do not be discouraged by defeat at the hands of one from the Ser'Tuk'Itan bosom. You are great amongst Argannenit'ar(those whom you fly with)".
Finally, he looked back to the rest of his fellow Aegon. "Long have we shaken and quivered like dying prey in our huts, walked to the Aego'arg'ha'nar on frail and shaking bones. Now we are strong. We are healthy. So I ask Arg'myn Aegon will you fly with me once again ".
A sigh escaped the Aegon while the younger ones just stared confused. An Argn Aegon walking up to Blackfeather slapped him lightly with a wing as she walked past. "It's too early and we're too old for your dramatics. I'll fetch my Ra'kit. Arg'soj tinnon rethran ra'kit. (It's been ages since I drew a bow)". The Aegon walked over the wood bridge. The moment she reached the other side her Argannen spread and with a powerful flap she was gone.
"You have competition now with Galeshot Bluefeather back". Talon whispered to Seraphina who turned and glared at him. "What. She's named Galeblade for a reason even if her true name is Galeshot". He scratched his feathered jaw.
Seraphina sighed and turned to leave. The two Argon following.
"How do you suspect this will go Talon?". Redhead Skytrooper another Aego asked. His eyes were inquisitive.
"I truly do not know. But I hope with an Arg'pheyso it should be clean". Talon answered before giving the salute and walking away.
"Let's prepare as well. I'm sure our Yotkn and Ra'kitn are all worn out and need repairs". Blackfeather left next. Behind him, the remaining three took a glance at each other.
"I don't know about you three. But if the Arg'pheyso keeps me this young every time I have no issues with listening to him". Tara Bladefeather smiled wide and strutted out of the Grove.
"Madness". The other two spoke simultaneously then glared at the other before scoffing.

ROTHO'S POV
"Arg'gardef". An Argo landed with a run, Argannen beating harshly as he stopped his momentum. I watched his speedy entrance with narrowed eyes.
"Arg'gardef. Red ones. Raider band. Blyn'maje maybe with the band". My feathers chilled at the words. A raiding band was very problematic if attacking one village.
"Quick we must return. The Village will need us". It was always a priority to safeguard the village. We were the ones who wielded Ra'tik. The Arg'feyn ar' Arg'tiel(wrath of the heavens). We could not be away. Not a lot of us knew the skills of the Yotke and even those who did were not as profoundly good as they should have been with the Ra'tik.
It was in our blood.
"Impaler Whitefeather. Rush to the other two villages. Ar'pesa Arg'mar!. Vatu". He nodded turning to hurry off when a pressure descended on us.
I felt myself buckle to my knees and my Argannen squeezed together in between my back.
"Forgive the discomfort, but doubting my next words would be perilous for your village".
I frowned, both from pain, the pressure, the words, and the voice."Who...".
"... I am doesn't matter for now. What matters is what your Village needs. To gather the Warriors of the other village you need to draw the Red ones' attention to you. That way the villages can band up together".
"What. How...the villages would come together to..."
"The villages are being attacked separately. Divided you three shall fall".
Dread went up my chest and I felt myself begin to panic. 'No, wait he must be a trick of the Blyn'maje to confuse and make me despair '.
"You must strike the rear of the Red Ones to draw their attention and give Aeris Skylark and Skyhorn Skyshriek the chance to act".
I wanted to and would have argued back if the pressure didn't vanish just then and the voice with it. There was no sound for miles in any direction and I felt my feathers sticking to each other from the damp sweat that had soaked it.
"Arg'gardef...what..."
"Fly close to the villages. Stay far enough to scout and see. You should know what to do if the words we received are false". I looked at Impaler who nodded and took off. His Argannen flapping fast and with Dextrous might.
"The rest of you come with me. Whether the voice speaks true or not we need to confirm if this raid band is more than enough for three villages ".
"What do you think that was Arg'gardef?".
"What if things are as the voice says?".
I sighed with a frown on my face. "If so then we hope that voice can do more than just make Argonnen shake in their feathers".
"He mentioned Aeris and the Skyshriek". An Argn spoke. I sighed. "They are good with the Yotk. But arw not with a Ra'tik. Best to act fast and hope the words were false".
"I think we should act in the case the voice spoke true". I glared back at the Argn. Ariana was the kind to always argue my decisions. 'That's what I get when an Aego's Argeon is in my group'.
"Bluefeather". I gave her the best no-nonsense face I could. "Not now". It definitely didn't work as she frowned at me. I sighed mentally again and turned to keep up the move. The village didn't have time for such dramas.
