The two changes to Molliwag had been his Dare and absolute will. It seemed the cold embers of divinity had been driving the poor dragon mad for power by tempting it as vengeance.

The Dare to his character looked better in Hildelith's opinion.

That being said, Hildelith was already planning her next course of action. With many things done for the preparations of the alpha testers, she mentally checked off what was left to happen.

'... defenses check, Vaustaris check templates up for sale check.. ' Hildelith halted in her contemplations. "I wonder how I can still sell without system access."

The Alpha testers were made to be gods. If the condensing orbs of energies were anything to go by. This posed the question...

How were creators and the gods meant to level up? Sure, she had been leveling when killing things. But that was when the system was around. She hadn't killed anything to know. And the experience of Vaustaris didn't apply beyond reality.

Which begged a question. How would the gods get their level-ups? Fighting a void wolf was out of the question seeing as those were made for her.

Which left only one option.

The Unknown.

As much as it was an option, it too was a problem. Hilde needed at least fifty percent of those Unknowns to purify into Luminaries for whatever worlds she was creating. Sure, she had the template and it was free, but why create Luminaries with the templates when she could form them through purification?

Plus, she needed the shards from the purification for her skills and also to create and power more Life Armors.

There was also the fact that they were Molliwag's children. And she saw them that way. The Luminaries part, of course.

The girl's head racked as she pondered how to fix two major problems. Get fifty percent of the Unknown and also get her shards. Extorting players would be bad. She already had the idea for the Unknowns by having the Luminaries handle it. But that palm wasn't completely thought of.

"If only there was a way to just get the gods to give up a Shard," she groaned as she stamped around while waiting for the dragon who was busy making arrangements and whatever within the valley.

Hilde spent a long while trying to find a way past her issue until Molliwag finally came.

"What troubles echo in your head?" The dragon spread out its left-wing, resting it on the ground for her to climb up to its neck.

"Troubles, what makes you think there is any?"

"If not from the blatant chewing of your lip, then the creases of your forehead will suffice as a point to note your distress," he barely moved as he pointed out.

Hilde halted her lip abuse and smiled for a moment before shaking her head. She looked at Molliwag for a moment before asking a question, a bit of worry in her eyes.

"Do you really feel I would not have come for you if I knew about your existence?" her tone felt grave, almost sad. The dragon shut its eyes for a moment before opening them.

"What I feel, and what the truth is are fickle. I am glad as much as my pride begs to differ that one was wrong," with the words left unsaid he eyed her again and Hilde knew he wasn't going to answer any more sappy questions.

"Males are the same. Whatever lifeform they come in," she muttered. "Still, I just want you to know this. I wish I saw you grow up. I've carried your siblings around and I know that this is a moment in their lives I enjoyed so much. They'll soon be grown and I won't be able to carry them again. But at least I got that opportunity with them. You?. I didn't. And I hate everything that created that process that led to this. I hate that I didn't get to pamper you like the regal dragon you were. I hate that you grew up not knowing what a mother's love was like. And for all this I really am sorry."

Silence.

"I do not blame you, mother. Not anymore. Being purified lets me think properly and I understand. It still hurts but you are not to blame," he looked up, then a grin spread across his tooth.

"Though I wonder how a puny being like you could birth a grand creature such as me," he rose, almost smacking her away as he spread his wings in a show of glory.

"Bloody dragons and pride."

Shaking her head with a faint smile she took a step forward, already eager for the flight to come. She'd undoubtedly enjoyed the first one and fortunately, while the height had been dizzying to see she was glad to not have any phobia for it.

Her legs barely touched the wings when she felt a pulsing rush through her.

Bells droned in her head and a hot searing feeling of fire and tingles of electricity coursed through her.

Dings and Akasha's words sounded in her mind but the pain was mind-numbing. Hildelith heard a roar and a growl, she felt the ground shake and then lots of screeches as she felt the world sensation spin and twirl.

Then the feeling was gone.

In just a few seconds the pain and feeling of getting torn ended and her senses returned.

"What ...what happened?" was her first query. Yet the silence that she got made her head raise. Standing a few feet from her was Molliwag, his eyes locked directly on her.

There was confusion and yet a dire sense of tension in him. Like he would attack if she so much as moved the wrong muscle.

"What happened son?" she asked slowly not eager to trigger him. In this form, she was weaker than even the Luminaries. 'Bloody avatars. Can't wait to see the gods realize how weak they are in this form'. It seemed Vaustaris took no chances with even more than a sliver of her power entering into it.

"I would not know. You scream like one under attack yet I find no one. I should ask you?"

Not getting any answers from him she turned to Akasha and found a lot of answers.

"Aish. I forgot about that. No, I didn't forget. I didn't even realize this was what it meant".

In her mind, a list of the twelve races appeared with the option to pick one. Looking at Molliwag, she smiled reassuringly before selecting the first.

"Argonne".

The world brightened and a feeling of skin shifting and crawling rolled over her body, making her bend over. Wings grew from out her back, her face stretched and deformed till she had a beak and large falcon eyes, several feathers of platinum gold and black replacing her hair behind her bird head.

From her fingers, talons slid out and her feet morphed to shape into that of a split humanoid and bird creature giving her more balance in a scary way. The huge wings of white feathers, red and green splayed out here and there spread out in a grand form. Her body was covered in feathers and fur except for her collar to her thighs which was still skin.

Fortunately, the robes still covered her up even though her height had gotten an additional 1.5ft. The gown once long was now only to her knees.

A growl from ahead made her slowly look up.

"Shut it son. It's still me."

The dragon lost all his aggression quickly but his curiosity stayed. Seeing the question in his gaze she explained what was happening.

"So it only applies to you?" he asked disappointed once he understood.

"Why, don't like being so huge now eh?".

"No. It would just be fun to see how life is to you small people," he turned away with a look that said he lost interest while Hildelith blinked.

'Did he just call me short?'. She made a mental fist at him before huffing. She blinked as the dragon looked anywhere but at her. Ignoring him, she instead picked another race.

"Elosas".

This time she was ready for the feeling of change and only a slight cringe as her bones adjusted appeared on her face.

Hildelith looked at her blue skin with various light blue lines that would have been mistaken for tribal marks but were features of the Elosas' skin. Her large round eyes made her adorable. Her cat-like nose twitched as she sniffed. A tail swayed behind her and her tongue licked the four fangs that now rested in her mouth. Large horns created a curved crown on her head. Long black hair fell down her back.

Her fingers had no claw which didn't surprise her as they were designed to be sheathed. With a click said claws slid out. Black just like the Argonne talons. Her feet became humanoid ones though her height remained the same as the Argonne. She touched her ears and grinned at the length.

"As expected of the two previously Advanced Races in my world," she chuckled. Stretching out her skin and limbs like she did with the Argonne, Hildelith made a flip finding the Elosas to be incredibly flexible and swift.

She went through all the races skipping the Qitsalrmer due to their unique need for water. The Argats were a race of half men and half lion. Standing on their hind feet at a good 7ft. Muscular even for females.

Lomries were short like the dwarves, and no they did not love ale. But were fools for food. Their red skin made them stand out and their quick feet despite their stature made them uncatchable. With their long ears and large eyes, they would be mistaken for children if not for the visible signs that came with aging.

The Evershu were 6ft with fair skin, pointed ears, and mostly a slender body though she suspected the players would adjust some things. Their long muscular legs gave them a grace and speed that could only be bested by the Elosas.

Turning into an Undule, she couldn't help but sigh. This race had given her the toughest time. It was a close resemblance to the Unmduni of Tora, but in difference, the Undule were stronger by how long their white hairs grew. Each strand added as much as 0.01 unit of stat double the longer it grew. The exact measurement wasn't something she remembered.

With pointed ears, sharp-fanged canines, and three eyes, skin tough and resistant to the elements with a shade of white, black, or brown. Their three eyes and white hair were what made them Undule. They were really good.

Next was the Emberkin and man did this race remind her of Haero. With bronze dim red scales and broad shoulders, she could see the utility in this as the Argat race. "One with quick and powerful blows, the other with a tank-like body and long-range skills".

Next, was the Sun forged. "This race is just ...wow". She stood taller than any of the other races she had turned to. While she had a good form and a beautiful powerful shape it was the sparkling hue of her skin that drew attention. "Getting a Sunforged wife would be any male's dream in Vaustaris".

Slowly she turned picking up the Moonborn. "Well, that's the opposite". Where the Sunforged were powerfully shaped and beautiful dangerously and hotly, the Moonborn were different. Lithe and beautiful in a soft way. They rivaled the Sunforged in height, almost. While the Sunforged stood at 7 to 8ft the Moonborn had a 6ft to 7ft chase.

'Theit tallest would be the Sunforged tallest. Oops".

The final race was the Verdani and she raised an eyebrow as she thought back to why she even created this race again. "This was the humans of her world". It clicked and she sighed before shrugging.

Some players who might not like the other races or not like the intimate body difference might choose to pick Verdani. There were always people like that in games.

Changing back to the Argonne, she spread her wings because well who didn't want to fly? Giving Molliwag a wink, she took off fighting precariously to figure out the laws of the wings and wind.

Playing a game for personal reasons was acceptable but not enjoying the little things that mattered in it was something else. The competition would be endless and the troubles always coming.

"Why worry about what you can't postpone or fix?" Hildelith smiled as she flapped without experience while staggering mid-air as she fought for balance.

"I hope I can stand my ground when the players come," a wind blew beneath her and instinctively she spread her wings.

"I have to stand. I have to ".

From below, Molliwag watched as the little shell of his mother hollered and whooped while flapping awkwardly through the air.

The dragon could hardly believe someone like that abandoned him. A cold mist escaped his breath with a sigh, the skin of his maw shifting into a toothy grin as he watched Hildelith flip off the birds that flew in circles around her, mocking her amateurish flying.
