The shop changed many things for Hilde.

What was the plan? Play the game, have fun, and deal with her trauma.

Plan ditched.

Now Hilde was not getting competitive or anything like that. No. The allure of games was to be the best, the strongest, and the highest in level or skill. Any player who said otherwise was either lying to his teeth or had strong priorities. Hildelith didn't care about it though. The top wasn't a place to be ignored. Getting a chance to reach there was most players' dream in every game.

For Hilde, it was a subconscious want but not important. Maybe to be so powerful she could be above everyone and get over the fear. Maybe to be the best. Whichever it was, Hilde's plans were consciously different.

Her hands scrolled through the rows of tomes in the box. There were tomes on various things. From elements to energies and more. Some were locked and all cost a pretty penny.

The cheapest Tome of Insight cost over 1500 MVC. The same Earthen Grace she already knew. It made her wonder if there could be more than one such Tome or if the one she received as a reward didn't count.

Trying to confirm she scrolled through the shop searching for Divine Purity. There were countless Tomes there, so much that Hilde nearly got frustrated seeking the Divine Purity.

Finally, she arrived at the last Tome.

'Either it's one of a kind. Or ... ' her eyes went to the next Locked row.

A sigh escaped the girl's thin lips eyes narrowed as she searched hurriedly through the various Tomes. Different names appeared to her as well as system descriptions.

Finally, her eyes settled on two.

Tome of Insight - Titans Step - 2500 MVC

Tome of Insight - Call of Ember 2600 MVC

Hilde blinked at the thousands of coins she needed for the two Tomes. Sighing she shut the shop and focused on the current matters.

Hilde emptied her inventory of everything important that had to do with templates and got a grand lineup of templates. Her loot was insane.

x5 Advanced Creature Templates

Divine Creature Templates

x5 Blank Advanced Racial Templates

x2 Advanced Racial Template,

x10 Blank Upgraded Guard Templates

x5 Blank Advanced Creature Templates

x2 Defense Structure Basic Template

x5 Trap Basic Templates

x2 Security Basic Templates

x5 Utilities Basic Templates.

x1 Vaustaris World Advanced Template.

Only the Divine Creature Templates were different or higher ranked. The templates were of three ranks, Basic, Upgraded, and Advanced. There were further two types of templates. The racial templates and the Creature Templates. This fell under the Life templates atleast.

The Tool template was where objects fell under, like the castle and the traps.

Then some Templates had no classification. Like the World templates, System templates, and universe forms. Blank Templates meant no creature or race had been designed on the template yet. It was a bonus to gain a blank Template since one cost 10MVC.

Hildelith was beginning to understand that Creator Online wasn't run by MVC but by Templates.

It was like a game where you could use it to summon and make the best characters, but here you could design an entire world and sell it in a template.

"If I get enough MVC from selling my Templates then I'll be able to rack in those two Tomes," she muttered to herself. 'I'd better get to work before the others figure it out'.

Basic Creature Template.

Basic meant the template attributes or stats weren't all that. No matter what was made it would be nothing but basic. Basic creatures could be anything from wolves to goblins or other animals that lack intelligence and sentience.

Unauthorized duplication: this narrative has been taken without consent. Report sightings.

The most common mobs for players to grind on.

Still, she had a devious grin on her cheeks. A bit of far-sightedness was playing out for her. Once the alpha testers came it was a fact they'd be split amongst the one hundred universes. Then the beta testers. Each universe was going to act as some sort of server. But the only thing that Hilde suspected was each player would choose to stay or leave a server. Causing higher or lesser traffic. She wasn't sure how it would work or get done. But she knew the starter worlds would be the point of evaluation for their creators. Like an exam of sorts.

"Players love adventuring. Seeing new things. Challenges, not too easy yet also not impossible." she muttered as she eyed the hovering template.

"The devs or should I say that U.I. already set the pace for us. They've given us a ton of races to choose from and also creatures. But where's the fun in that". Hilde shook her head.

"Let's make them both fear Vaustari and feel obsessed with grinding on it. Of course, I'll have to create variants of whatever I put on my world for selling. Eye-catching yet not as good as the main deal. Like a side dish for the players to stay a while to taste only to run back for the real thing".

The creature on the template was a basic goblin. One of the lowest mobs in any game. Goblins were usually the most slaughtered mobs and apart from the slimes were truly pitiable.

Hilde filled in the descriptions as she spoke to herself. Then designed the creature before adding its racial type. Once she was done she smirked at the new alterations.

"I always wondered what goblins could be capable of if given the same height factor as humans."

[BASIC CREATURE TEMPLATE]

[VARIANT]

[Vaustari Goblin]

Vaustari Goblins are red-skinned, Prone to fits of anger, and berserkers naturally.

Avrg Height - 5ft6.

[Creature Perk - Situational Adaptation]

[Creature Ability - Cluster creature]

These Vaustari goblins are Hardly alone. Where there is one there is more.

[Creature Skill - Beserker]

Vaustari Goblins will always get angry when attacked. Increasing their Might but not affecting their intelligence.

Just like with the administrators, everything had a set number of points to be arranged in its template. For the basic creatures, it was just 5 points.

Hilde chuckled at this before bringing up the next template. This one was of a dire wolf. Hilde tapped her lips with a finger while thinking of the changes she could make with this one. Wolves were seen as the most loyal of creatures back on earth. Pack mentality.

"I'll capitalize on that"

Tweaking the template she made the direwolf tall before giving it white fur and red eyes.

[BASIC CREATURE TEMPLATE]

[VARIANT]

[White Vaustari Wolf]

A variant of the direwolf. These are white-furred and larger than their counterparts by a few inches.

Might - 1.5

Mobility - 2

Physicality - 1

Mental - 0.5

[Creature Perks - Nature Energy]

As long as land remains beneath their paws the White Wolf is invincible and unkillable.

[Creature Ability - Pack Strength]

One bite carries the strength of the park. As long as the pack is present a wolf will possess increased and deadly might

[Creature Skill -Sacrifice]

The death of one is a strength for many. Culling is unadvised.

Hilde worked hard to create as many Templates as possible. By the time she blinked she'd used up the x10 Basic Creature Templates in her possession.

Looking at the list of creatures she made a smile lit up her face. From Rodoil to Wagglers, a Bone Weaver, A Carapace pawn, Shadow Panthers, etc.

Quickly the next templates came only for her to pause. There was no Upgraded Creature Templates. Just blank ones. She wasn't sure if this was a good or bad thing. Wondering how to use this a light bulb went off in her head.

Many players loved challenges. Some would skillfully and most definitely manage to hunt down and clear the Basic Creatures. She already knew that and had been planning on using the Upgraded Creature Templates to put in stronger beasts. But now, without them, she couldn't offer stronger beasts. Or not.

The joys of mobs was their ability to also grow stronger. Atleast offer a challenge to players.

Looking at her 10 templates she moved through them. She only had three Upgraded Creature Templates. This meant only three would get the chance to receive evolution options at least for now.

Vaustari goblin was a must-have since goblins without hobgoblins were anticlimactic. Bringing up the upgraded template she put in the new creature details.

[UPGRADED CREATURE TEMPLATE]

[VARIANT]

[Vaustari Goblin (Blood Magi]

Vaustari Goblins are red-skinned, Prone to fits of anger, and berserkers naturally. A new evolution option for the Vaustari goblin. Brutal in a field and more stronger the more blood they have access to.

Avrg Height - 5ft6.

Might - 2

Mobility - 2

Physicality- 2.9

Mental - 1.8

[Creature Perk - Increased Awareness]

They can notice and learn from a situation. Whether magic, need for speed, or resilience. The vaustari goblin will adapt and improve quickly.

[Creature Ability - Cluster creature]

These Vaustari goblins are Hardly alone. Where there is one there is more.

[Creature Skill- Beserker Magi]

Vaustari Goblins will always get angry when attacked. Increasing their Might yet not affecting their ability to reason and think. This makes them very formidable and dangerous creatures. Vaustari goblins rarely need help, unless you are offering blood.

The bloodier a battle the harder it gets to defeat a blood magi.

The Upgraded Creatures had 5 extra points gotten in their template.

The Next was the White Vaustari Wolf. Hilde knew that most people loved the ideas of Lycans in movies and games. She chuckled while finishing the upgraded Creature Template.

[UPGRADED CREATURE TEMPLATE]

[VARIANT]

[Beast of Vaustari (The White Wolf)]

At its evolved form the Beast is immune to all magical and physical attacks below its rank. A bipedal standing at a solid 7ft it brings terror to all who cross its path.

Might - 3.6

Mobility - 3.1

Physicality - 2.1

Mental - 1.2

[Creature Perk - Tyrannic Might]

The White Wolf is as powerful as its name it's feared and revered. The more it is known, feared, respected, or reversed the more its physicality improves permanently

[Creature Ability - Mental Howl]

A howl that deals mental damage to all, not in the same rank. Debuffing and buffing itself and its pack with the lost health of its foes.

[Creature Skill - Alpha Boon]

The Blessings of the Beast granted to the White Vaustari Wolf increasing their prowess temporarily.

The last Upgraded Creature Template to be used went to the Carapace Pawn.

Its evolution was the most brutal of all. Hilde doubted the survival of the Blood Goblin or Beast of Vaustari when pitted against it.

[UPGRADED CREATURE TEMPLATE]

[VARIANT]

[Carapace Knight]

Eight legs with shredders up front and a single stinger attached to its rear. Armoured with a hard chitinous surface that leaves enemies in despair. Eight eyes with an extra hidden eye on its stinger.

Might - 3.1

Mobility - 4

Physicality - 4

Mental - 0.7

[Creature Perk -Armourer]

Defense is a solid offense. With despair, first of all, wars are won.

[Creature Ability - Sensory Field]

Possesses a field of hearing, smell, and sight that is 180 degrees in any direction faced. This helps to increase its chances of a hunt, defense, or detection.

[Creature Skill - Birther]

Unlike the Carapace Pawns, it fails to weave its threads. Instead acts as a major spawner for more devilish pawns.

Hilde blinked then stretched out her body showing off a lot of curves that unfortunately no eyes were able to see. Then packing up the created creature templates she tossed them into her inventory.

Looking at the five babies now packed in a pile on top of Haero as they slept she shook her head with a smile yet again marveling at the realism. But remembering the U.Is existence she could only acknowledge how the realism could be this effective.

Eyes returning to the pile of templates she went to work with a sigh.

'Even in-game working is still unavoidable'. pouting she continued creating the templates.
