C2 IS HERE! C2 IS HERE C2 IS HERE C2 IS HERE C2 IS HERE!
C2!
IS!
HERE!
She's taking a bath now, unwinding after the flight, Mum's ship is pretty fast but it still takes a while to get from the earth to the moon, there are all these safety precautions and things you have to do but who cares C2 IS HERE RIGHT NOW!
Hehehehehe. I can't stop giggling. Three whole weeks with my best friend! I know there's not much to do up here but doing ANYTHING with her is fun. She hasn't really met Daniel yet but I bet they'll get along well too, I mean they're both smart and both kind of weird (in a good way) (well, in C2's case it's good, anyway) and I mean, it's C2. She's awesome.
And guess what? She hugged me! It's not the first time we've hugged, but this time it was different, she was properly smiling even though she was tired and she squeezed me really tight for ages, I feel like it's the first 'true' hug we've had. Maybe Blackbird Academy is good for her? Or maybe she's just ... I don't know, but she seems more open and relaxed—well, that's my super-quick judgement since I only saw her for like ten minutes before Mum suggested she take a bath to recover from the flight. Going from the earth to the moon is kind of stressful apparently, I've only made the trip once that I can remember but I slept for most of it.
Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
Taking a deep breath. Maybe I'm getting a bit wound up—but I can't help it! C2! Is! Here!

BEST DAY EVER. And it's not even over yet! Dad cooked a big pork roast for dinner and Mum did her famous Mist-Style Salad, and C2 and I helped cut up vegetables and Daniel ... actually Daniel didn't do anything, he just played games while the rest of us worked. But anyway, it was a GREAT meal, C2's been shy and quiet all day but she really loosened up at dinner, she even kind of laughed at one of Dad's stupid jokes even though I told her she really shouldn't, and she and Daniel started talking about some science thing I didn't understand, something about non-material auras and how they're pretty exciting apparently? Anyway, even though I couldn't even follow what they were talking about I was really happy to see her getting enthusiastic, she's so CUTE when she gets excited about something—Daniel too, I guess, I like how his voice goes kind of high and tight and thick when he's really having fun talking. Mum was good too, except for a couple of times when she said something about C2's family being poor—I know she can't help it, I know exactly how annoying having an honesty curse is, but it was still embarrassing. C2 was really good about it but I wonder if it hurt her.
Now Daniel's showing C2 his workshop, I told her she didn't have to go and look but I think she actually really wanted to. Since I've seen my brother's weird cluttered kind of scary workshop about fifty million times before (actually probably closer to a thousand times or something okay THERE honesty curse are you HAPPY) I just helped with the washing up—Botler does most of it but it's nice to feel useful. Besides, he gets stuck sometimes and needs a nudge to get him started again, he's got this weird bug Daniel can't figure out where he gets caught in infinite loops.
Anyway, now I'm just sitting in the lounge while Mum and Dad watch the news, typing all of this out, waiting for C2 to come back. She's taking AGES, what's so interesting about a stupid old workshop, anyway? Maybe I'll go and see what's taking them so long.
