Two men in camouflage uniforms crept from tree to tree in the woods as they neared the gully.
The light cast jagged shadows across the men as they moved, the leaves around them either dark blurs or glowing green. The contrast was so great that the lead man removed his night vision equipment and relied on his natural sight. He motioned the second man to take a position on his right, then drew his automatic up and level with his chest. The suppresser added weight to the front of the rifle, but he had long since grown used to the changed balance of the gun.

As they neared the lip of the gully, both men dropped to their knees and slowly crawled the remaining distance.
The lead man peeked briefly into the gully, then pulled away and rolled onto his back, his eyes wide in amazement. He whispered into his microphone. “Two to One. There is a fucking UFO in the gully.”
“We put it there, you idiot,” Casey ducked when the door of the house opened and figures stepped onto the porch.
“No, Sir. I know we put one there. I mean, there is a second UFO in the gully parked next to the dummy UFO.”
“Be advised; there are civilians coming towards you.” Casey edged further into the woods. What the hell was going on? He had never had an assignment derail this quickly.
