No matter how many times I see this young man, he truly has the qualities of my Master. Ivo was stunned when he saw Zariel crying again.
Ivo slowly stepped back and left Zariel alone. He knew that Zariel didn't need someone to cheer him up nor did he need someone to care about him.
"No. He doesn't need any of that." Ivo looked back one last time and saw Zariel's figure starting to blur under the gray fog. This dense death energy didn't even bother Zariel in the slightest or try to hurt him.
On the contrary, all the death energy in this place seemed to tremble when Zariel cried. It moved back into a strange state where the death energy gathered and formed a dome that covered all outside interference. The fog began to gather and Zariel's figure was no longer visible.
"Rumanoff, they really are a mystery in this world." Ivo shook his head at the scene.
He had many questions he wanted to ask about the Rumanoff family. But when he saw Zariel who looked so much like his teacher, Ivo finally gave up on that intention.
"Forget it. Let's leave it to my future self." Ivo sat down while looking back at the city of Ernest.
The night sky gave off an eerie feeling tonight. The moonlight that usually shone brightly and showed a full moon was now covered by dark clouds, preventing the moonlight from shining on this land.
Tomorrow was the day when he would enroll in the academy.

In the dark night, Ivor looked up at the 5 towers that towered into the sky. A majestic tower that showed the goal and pursuit of the White Snow Academy.
5 white towers that even shone in the dark night. 4 towers were in each direction of the White Snow Academy and the largest tower was in the middle.
“My Lord, I will make sure that madman dies tonight. The mistakes I made in the past, I will atone for them tonight.” Ivor turned around and pulled out a black dagger that was as dark as the night itself.
His body was covered by a black robe and every skin in his body had merged with the shadows around him. Every bone in his body trembled and felt a coldness that he did not know when a whispering voice could be felt in his soul.
He is there. Isn’t he the one you are looking for? Why do you still hesitate about the thing you hate so deeply?
Ivor looked at the scene in front of him. A house without a single light shining. Just a dark house similar to several houses around. His high level Mana sense did not feel the slightest movement of mana inside the house.
Even when he investigated this place, there were no signs of life around this house. With its position being quite far from White Snow Academy and from Ernest's Cemetery, Ivor slightly doubted the whisper in his soul.
On what basis are you sure that the person in front is in there? Ivor asked the voice in his soul.
What he heard in return, was a mocking laugh.
You are truly a funny human. When you were prepared to die when fighting the one who summoned me, you ended up begging for your life. When you wanted to bring Haris and Ellen to kill him, you instead made a deal with him. Now, you want to kill Bernard, but now you hesitate?
The voice chuckled. 'Now I know why he called you a pitiful rat.'
'Shut up!!!' Ivor shouted inside himself and made the voice disappear. He wanted to slit the throat of this voice but couldn’t. This was just the effect of the death magic that Ivo had cast on him.
‘What kind of magic did he use on me?’. Even with the information or knowledge that the Shadow King had, there was very little information about death magic.
Forget it, I better finish this quickly. Ivor raised his hand and revealed a bracelet that he wore on his left arm. From the bracelet, a magic scroll appeared in his hand.
“Let tonight be a party for us. The shadows will rule this land one day.” Ivor activated the magic scroll.

The movement of magic energy that came from the magic scroll forced the formless shadows within a radius of 500 meters to rise. From the formless shadows, a hand appeared, a body formed, and the shadow turned into a faceless human.
Freed from the physical limitations of the world, the shadow humans rose. Their hands were filled with various weapons that they pulled from the shadows around them.
The darker the shadow, the thicker the magic energy inside the shadow’s body.
Intermediate level shadow magic. Shadow Army.
The formed shadow stood up and looked at Ivor who was on the roof of the empty house.
“Go. Kill the person in there.” Ivor ordered while pointing towards the empty house in front of him.
Simultaneously, all the shadow humans ran and charged towards the empty house. Ivor also jumped and followed the Shadow Army from behind. When he entered the door in front of him, a strange sound was heard from inside.
The shadows that were supposed to attack were frozen stiff like statues that could not move. They had no ears or eyes, but they could see and hear what was in front of them all.
Inexplicable whispers were heard throughout this room. The words that flowed through the night wind seemed so foreign yet so familiar.
Ivor heard these whispers with both of his ears frozen stiff like a statue. He saw with both of his eyes hundreds to thousands of words floating in the air forming a pattern that he did not know.
“Ah, it seems you have a guest here.” The man in the white robe who was sitting cross-legged raised his head. His eyes were covered by a black cloth that was as dark as the night. When he turned to Ivor, an inexplicable fear arose and Ivor took a step back.
“So it’s you. The son of the shadow king.” Bernard looked around him and tilted his head. His hand caught a black dagger that cut through thin air.
“Isn’t this a bit rude, Son of the Shadow King?” As he said that, a powerful Death Energy destroyed a shadow that was beside him.
“You…” Ivor was about to say other words but they didn’t come out of his mouth. He forcefully swallowed the words back and moved the Shadow Army to attack Bernard.
Simultaneously, all the shadows moved and attacked Bernard. The shadow sword cut off Bernard’s hand separating it from his body. Red blood flowed profusely from the cut.
Bernard was expressionless. He just remained silent while showing a pure innocent smile.
The shadow troops holding spears stabbed them all over his body. 5 shadow spears pierced Bernard’s body so accurately, that two shadow spears pierced the innocent eyes of their enemy.
The other shadow troops also finished off Bernard with all the weapons they had. One shadow troop cut off Bernard’s remaining arm, one shadow troop cut off both of Bernard’s legs making his body lifted in the air by the spear and the shadow with the darkest shape among the others stabbed their swords and made the body that was slightly covered by a white robe stick to the wall.
Ivor slowly stepped forward looking at Bernard who still had a small smile on his face.
“Haha… Ahahahaha….” Ivor laughed unconsciously. He strangled Bernard’s body which still had only his head and body left. His hands were raised while holding a black dagger in his right hand.
“Die. Die. Die. Die!” Ivor screamed so loudly as his hand stabbed the dagger into Bernard’s head repeatedly. Red blood flowed with every stab and thrust of the dagger that Ivor did.
His face was covered in blood. His lips lifted into a wide smile with blood starting to flow into his mouth.
Not stopping there, Ivor dropped the dagger in his hand, stabbed both of Bernard’s eyes with his thumb, and tore the skull in two. Brain matter and scattered on the cold floor filled with thin moonlight.
“Bastard… you bastard… This is payback for using me to kill Raven. Now who is on the ground Huh?” Ivor shouted while stepping on the brain on the floor.
The shadow troops were silent seeing the cruelty that Ivor did. After all, they were shadows that couldn’t even think because they weren’t real beings. But they still saw Ivor’s behavior with the eyes they had.
Among the shadows, one looked around this place and slightly raised its head. The ceiling was still filled with words in an unknown language. The words were still floating in the air non-stop as if it didn’t care about what was happening right now.
After seeing that, the shadow lowered its head again and looked at Ivor like the other shadows.
Ivor cursed non-stop and shouted his hatred towards Bernard. The person who had used him to trap Raven. After a while, he calmed down and fell silent.
The inexplicably cold eyes looked at Bernard’s lifeless body. “For someone who always said he would seek his death, you died so easily. What qualifications do you have to arrogantly challenge my Master.”
“Look who’s dead now? Do you see where you are now? Who’s on the ground now, Ashhole.” Ivor cursed as he kicked the skull that had been split into two.
He used to be so weak that Bernard used him as bait to attract Raven. Now, he is someone who is in the first stage of awakening, the genius of the assassins, the son of the shadow king.
He is Ivor Ashen. The one who should succeed the throne of the shadow king.
The shadow army that he summoned slowly disappeared without a trace. One by one, the shadows disappeared until only the last shadow remained, staring intently at Ivor before disappearing. When all had disappeared, Ivor walked into the shadows and left this place, leaving behind a cold room that was not occupied by anyone.
All these killings, only lasted no more than 30 minutes. In a place where no one lived, all happened in the dark of night.
Bernard Lurk was dead. His head was torn in two, his body was full of spears and his heart was destroyed. Red blood flowed on the floor and dripped into the cracks in the floor.
All that was left of this place was a small sparrow staring at this place silently.
After a while, the sparrow flew away and disappeared into the dark night. The room and the building slowly returned to darkness, the words floating in the air slowly disappearing as if they no longer had any meaning.
Not a single ray of moonlight shone on it.
