Chapter 27: Six Manifestations One Harmony

Chapter 27: Six Manifestations One Harmony

Six Manifestations One Harmony.

A martial art that he accidentally found in the early days of the game. This is a unique and strange martial art because no guide or systematic movement is owned by martial arts.

"I don't remember when and where I found it. Maybe in the third or fourth game session? I don't know, I've forgotten a little. I don't even remember where I found it."

"I can say that I was a very lucky person when I got it. Maybe it could also be said that my luck was so terrible that it eventually led me to become a martial artist in the early days of playing Destiny."

"This strange martial art is unique. I can say this because the development of the six manifestations and one harmony does not lie in the basis of fancy movements or extraordinary strength."

One thing. What is needed from the six manifestations one harmony is Enlightenment.

Every enlightenment will bring this martial art to a higher level and will be very suitable for its users. Every enlightenment obtained will produce a manifestation where the martial artist will become the manifestation of that enlightenment.

A simple example is the third Manifestation, Calm.

“When I use the third Manifestation, all aspects of the body, soul, and mind will be forced to calm down without the slightest ripple. Even when I faced Ivor where he was ready to kill me, there was not a single trace of hesitation or a single thing that could force me to lose my composure.”

Ivo began to hit the empty air with several systematic punches as if he were fighting someone in front of him. Even though there was nothing there, even though he could not feel his hands that were hitting, Ivo did not stop the movements he was doing.

The martial arts movements he performed flowed so perfectly like the never-ending flow of water from the mountains to the sea. Every punch and kick he performed might not have destructive power because of the limitations of his physical body.

Furthermore, this martial art that he cultivated did not have such great destructive power. Every enlightenment he experienced, of them was not shown to be destructive or have extraordinary power.

From Assimilation to Endless, Endless to Calm, After Calm to Vast Sky, Vast Sky to Deep Sea, and finally Insignificant.

All the enlightenment he got at that time was not directed towards Destructive power. Ivo himself still remembered that the ideal form of the Six manifestations of one harmony for him was an endless journey and how lowly humans were with their martial arts.

After forcing the consciousness he had to work hard, Ivo fell silent and sat in the middle of the darkness. His consciousness that was operating assimilation slowly returned and the feeling of his body being pulled into the light appeared.

Ivo slowly opened his eyes and could see his body covered in sweat. He was no longer sitting cross-legged but was standing on both feet. His body was shaking so hard and his legs could not support his body weight that Ivo fell to the floor.

With a rough breath, Ivo muttered softly. “My body is not strong enough to execute martial arts like this. I have to start training this body too even though I intend to advance as a Magician.”

His body was sweating and tense non-stop. The terrible pain he felt, right now and his muscles that were almost torn because his body was moving beyond the limits that could be endured.

The Mana Nucleus that was currently still the source of magical energy in the body had run out of energy and only a little bit left.

The only reason I could do this was because the second Nucleus had a capacity at the first awakening level. Otherwise, maybe after a few minutes, I would have run out of Mana.

“How long have I been here?” Ivo looked at the clock on the wall and felt the warmth of the sunlight coming in through the window.

Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

Time Magic, Tell time to tell me.

Monday, the 28th of the 3rd month, the year 994

“The 28th? That means I have been assimilated for three days.” Ivo slowly got up and sat down while receiving the information in his head.

The White Snow academy registration would last until the 30th and he arrived in this world on the 23rd.

“The written test will start on the 1st. I still have time to start preparing.”

Mind magic, Never Sleep

After feeling refreshed and the drowsiness gone, Ivo cleaned himself up. His body that was sore all over was healed with healing magic. His exhausted mind and mentality were restored using magic.

After finishing, Ivo looked at himself in the mirror.

It was the face of an ordinary young man who didn’t have any particularly striking features. Ivo couldn’t say whether he was handsome or not, but did he have an attractive face?

Of course not. His face was actually quite ordinary. Not that he cared anyway.

He was currently wearing simple clothes that he had bought when he had free time after visiting Ernest’s funeral. They were clothes made of a slightly rough but usable fabric.

“Hmm… maybe I should buy some extra clothes. The final test to enter the academy is going to be a real mess.”

Yeah, let’s do that after eating.

***

On today's menu, Ivo asked for something that he could eat easily.

Although his body had recovered after using healing magic, he didn't have much appetite to eat a full course meal. Therefore, he was currently enjoying a green bean soup with black sticky rice which gave it a sweet taste.

There was also a slight taste of ginger in it that gave it a warm feeling. For a drink, Masha suggested ordering a warm herbal tea. Ivo just nodded in agreement.

Masha really knows how to cook. Ivo kept saying this in his head every time he felt the warm feeling from the soup he was eating. The combination of green beans with black sticky rice brings a sweet taste and a hint of ginger to it.

The tea served was also no less amazing. It looked like a mixture of expensive high-quality tea mixed with some dried berries that combined the taste of both.

"Is there anything I can help you with?" Ivo glanced at Masha who was sitting in front of him. She was also enjoying this lunch with the same menu as him.

"Ah, no. I was just curious, you didn't go out for three days and suddenly came out to order food. As the only customer in this place, I was a little worried. But thank goodness you’re okay.”

“Since the previous incident, I’ve asked father to increase the security of this inn.” Masha sighed softly.

“Hmm? Wait, does this mean the rent of the inn will increase?”

“I’m afraid so.” Masha nodded. “I also didn’t want to increase it by more than 1 gold coin per night. But because of my request, it’s now 3 gold coins per night.”

“At this rate, no one will come to this place…” Masha grumbled softly.

3 gold coins for a room? Wow, what kind of robbery is this?

This doesn’t even include the cost of food and service for cleaning the room along with some of the items for sale such as casual clothes.

Ivo wanted to say this but held it back.

The price per night of this place was already almost on par with the best inn on the continent which cost 5 gold coins per night.

“Isn’t the price a bit too much?”

The security at this inn is probably the best among all the inns in Ernest City. Although that seems to be the only aspect that this place can be proud of.

Oh, and the food here is also amazing.

“Indeed. I know that too. But my father forced me to raise the rent. If it’s like this, probably no one will come to stay at this place.” Masha grumbled a little. Her cheeks puffed up a little when she was upset.

‘Cute.’

‘Although I saw it a lot when I was trying to start in Ernest City, still, I always feel like this.’

Masha still had her hair braided to the side. She was wearing simple clothes that weren’t too flashy but matched her hair color perfectly.

The two of them talked about a few things while enjoying lunch. Ivo took out 4 gold coins after he finished more than 7 large bowls.

“I’ll go back first. Is there anything you want while I’m there?” Masha asked. She looked at the 4 gold coins that Ivo had given her.

“Maybe something fatty and quite a lot. Ah, if possible can you make it spicier? He might like it.”

“...?” Masha looked around. This place was very quiet and there were no visitors other than her and Ivo.

“Do you have visitors?”

“Something like that.”

“Okay. I’ll be right back.”

While sipping the remaining tea, the sweet taste brought by the green bean soup slowly disappeared and was replaced by a slightly sour taste in the mouth. Ivo put the glass in his hand on the table and looked straight ahead at the table where he was sitting.

It was empty and there was no one there. There was no one but him in this place.

“Don’t you want something? The food and drinks in this place are quite amazing.”

“...”

“Tsk, you’re so cold. Can’t you lower that blank stare? Oh, do you hate the eyes I have? I can change them if you want even if they’re not perfect.”

When he said that, Ivo slowly changed the expression and gaze he gave to the person in front of him. The inexplicable calm gaze slightly changed into something a little empty.

“Enough. I don’t want to stay here too long. I’ve brought the thing you wanted.” Ivor said in a low tone as he placed a Potion in a small Vial.

Inside, there was probably only about 50 ml of potion. The description of the potion was exactly what Ivo had described.

“You really did a good job.” Ivo nodded as he looked at the Potion in front of him.

Raven is going to be in big trouble now.

And I'm ready to add fuel to this mess.
