Chapter 141: Save The School (Part 1)

Shera's perspective

John had behaved very strangely from the time he got out of the school dining room, he suddenly sneaked behind the wall to hear monsters talking as if he knew what they were talking about. Not just hearing the monsters talking, John even made me feel like he was trying to protect me and Reimi too much...what's wrong with my husband?

"John, I think the people inside are scared so they didn't answer us...maybe there are people I know inside there."

"Please let me take the lead, John..." - I slowly tapped John but he kept pointing his gun toward the room door

"Reimi, watch behind...I mean watch the hallway to see if monsters are coming here or not..." - John ordered Reimi while looking at the "magic sticks room" with no blinking

"Okay, Sir Rigen." - Reimi pointed the green gun to the hallway while closing her left eye and tilting her head to the right of her shoulder

"John...let me do the talk, the people inside are not hostile to us." - I kept tapping John again but he didn't answer

John slowly stepped toward the room's entrance, he hadn't gone into it yet but kept watching the door and the scenery inside the room while sneaking behind a corner. John was behaving very strangely, I didn't know what was wrong with him so I kept walking close to him and tapped him every time I did that, he glared at me heavily.

"Princess...get back to Reimi's position, you would be safer there." - John kept pointing his gun out of the corner to aim inside the room, he answered me without looking at me

"Why, John? Ahhh!" - John suddenly pulled me near him when I was standing in front of the door

"Reimi, take the cover!" - John suddenly yelled at Reimi

Reimi seemed very confused at what John had talked to her, she pointed her green gun at the hallway while stepping backward toward John.

"What do you mean by "take the cover", Sir Rigen?" - Reimi asked John when she was aiming her gun with both of her eyes, closing one eye made her feel unpleasant earlier

"Sneak behind obstacles."

Reimi later sneaked behind a Knight statue which was placed nearby our position, maybe John told Reimi to do that to avoid being hit by bullets.

"Shera...I saw you die once, now I don't want to lose you anymore..." - John said to me while rotating a metal switch that was placed in his gun body

"But I'm still alive here, John...I'm safe."

"You're not safe, this school is now a warzone, we can die anytime, anywhere in a war even if we don't stay in the danger area."

"Maybe I'm now talking to you very normal...but who knows if I have a heart attack and die here in front of you, Shera?"

"Please don't say unlucky things, John...you are healthy, if you are not fine then I will cure you." - I hugged John but he grabbed my hands away from him

"Don't, Akane!" - A figure exposed from the wooden crates which were placed in front of the room, that was Akane, she suddenly raised her head while pointing her magic stick at John

"John, please calm down!" - John after beating the one who was sneaking behind the door, he pointed his gun at Akane

Both of them kept looking at each other very aggressively, I looked at Reimi and then made a sign to tell her to follow me inside the room. I walked inside the room and looked at Akane, she slowly lowered her magic stick, John didn't lower his gun so I had to grab his hands and pulled them down slowly.

"Is the woman in the yellow uniform your acquaintance, Shera?" - John asked me while looking behind

I looked around to locate the person in the yellow uniform, I immediately realizes that person when I looked at the door, that was Ms. Erik Tak, my math teacher. She was the one who hid behind the door, her hand was holding a dagger, maybe we had misunderstood each other and made a terrible incident.

"Hey, Ms. Shera." - Ms. Erik greeted me when she was holding her cheek, which had been beaten by John's gun, it was rough and seemed very painful

"I'm sorry to hear about what you have gone through, my student! Ms. Weira and Mr. Ukra were heroes." - I crouched down to hug my teacher and she patted me slowly while mourning the dead teachers

"To see my teachers are still alive is very grateful to me, Ms. Erik." - I kept hugging my teacher, Ms. Erik slowly raised her head to look at John

"I don't think my student can have a brute fiance like you, beard man..." - Both of us slowly stood up

"I hid here to make sure I see humans but not monsters heading inside here and you welcomed me by beating me roughly, beard man, how brute you are."

"Hey, sorry! I was just...too cautious at that time." - John apologized to Ms. Eris and then looked around the room

"You should not marry this guy, Ms. Shera, he failed my marriage test. Tell him to have a secret meeting with me some night and I will rethink to let him pass if he can prove to me his other ability." - Please stop joking, Ms. Erik!

"Hi to see you, Ms. Erik."

"No need to hi, Ms. Shera! We have already greeted other when we hugged."

"Hello, Akane." - I greeted Akane and she bowed to greet me

"Hello, you two." - Now I noticed John was checking the metal blue shelves in the room, which contained the crates of each high school class that stored magic sticks

"Can you give me a detail of how many students attend your school, Princess?" - John asked me when he was trying to find the crate which has the number - C - 12, my classroom's number

"About 2.880 students, Sir John." - Ms. Erik spoke to us

"Then what's about the numbers of teachers, cooks, school maids and school guards, Ms. Erik?" - John asked Ms. Erik again

"We haven't counted that number yet but I think those types of people in the school combined would be 100 to 200, Sir John."

"That much? Shit..." - John was still trying to find the crate with the help of Akane

"But at the time we get attacked, most of the students haven't gone to the school fully yet, John! I think less than 400 have gone into the school."

"Keeping magic sticks when the students are not graduated are prohibited, Sir John." - Ms. Erik later opened the blue crate

"Wow...why these magic stones are inside this crate?" - I saw John pick up some blue magic stones inside the blue crate

"Remove magic stones on the sticks...and replace them with...the new ones to erase the contracts." - Akane said when she removed a magic stone out of a magic stick and put the new stone on the top of the stick

"Why it's too simple? I thought it must be more complicated." - John seemed very surprised to see how the contracts of the magic sticks would be very easy to be erased, me too!

"When we make a contract, we will have to drain a bit of our blood to fill a magic stone and attach it to a stick. That's when the magic stick belonged and can only be used by the one who made the contract." - Ms. Erik explained to us

"But when a magic stick's owner dies, the magic stone on the stick would light up in a second and turn off to show the contract is ended. Anyone who touches the magic stick after that can use it freely."

"My Highness, why don't you get inside to help Sir Rigen and the others to replace the magic sticks? I think you would be safer inside, let me guard outside, I will report when I see unusual things."

"Hey, Reimi...talk to me a bit." - I walked close to Reimi and then faced her

This time was not the time to talk about love, but I knew Reimi was in love with John, I hate the third one in our relationship. But this is my world, a world that has polygamy for men, which means John could marry me as his official wife and marry Reimi as his concubine - The wife who has fewer rights and power than the official one.

But Reimi was a truly devoted servant - who work for their ruler with the belief to serve forever without asking for benefits. She was not a loyal one - the one who works for their ruler for the purpose to have more money and benefits.

But Reimi from the first years serving me till now hasn't complained a word, she did not need more power or she didn't have a need for it, she should be rewarded more.

I doubt Reimi has enough bravery to die to follow my husband but if she does...I'm sure that Reimi would willing to die to follow me, not good!

Even if I die or not, Reimi would keep chasing John to take over him while serving me, not good, I must have a perfect plan to keep John as mine forever.

I didn't want to do things against my husband's will but I think I must enslave him, start with his body and then his soul I must marry John fast.

When I become John's wife and lived together with my husband, I would give birth to him, do housework, serve him well and have sex constantly with him till his mind and his body can only think about me.

I must kill Reimi, at least that would be the fastest way but I think enslaving John would be the perfect plan. In my life, I would pass many people who dare to steal away my husband, now I saw Reimi, Sarah, Hatano, Ms. Erik, Raptu...wait!

All women (except me...maybe men would be my enemies too) would be my enemies when they see my husband. Only looking at John would be their first declaration of war, I must kill all people in this world, (Of course, except for me, John and our kids) to make him mine forever.

Ehh...I felt like my body was being carried by someone...John! He was carrying me with both of his huge arms, my husband was so kind and powerful.

John slowly put me down on a chair to sit, after putting me down, he went to the crates which were placing contracted magic sticks inside them to remove the magic stones. Reimi was now guarding outside, John was working with Akane and Ms. Eris, only I was sitting, I must help them.

"Sit, Shera! You look unwell, take a break for a few minutes and join us, alright?" - John said to me

"Okay...if you want to, John..."

I was wondering how cute and submissive would my husband is when I enslave him, though I must ask John about this action. I didn't want to take away his freedom, I only need him to be faithful to me, that's all

Reimi's perspective

I didn't know what was happening to Her Highness, maybe today was her blood day too, her body kept spinning around in a circle while talking to me. But at least Her Highness was now inside the room with Sir Rigen and her acquaintances, I would do the guard outside.

My hands were now holding a weapon named a gun, which was a long-range weapon in Sir Rigen's homeland. According to Sir Rigen's information when I asked him about guns, a person who needs years to master long-range weapons like bows and crossbows take years to the end of that person's life to master all of them.

Because depends on being good at physics and strong grip strength, a bowman or a crossbowman needs to shoot these long-range weapons regularly to master them. By using their eyes to calculate the distance and to draw the bows and arrows or place bolts on crossbows to shoot, this progress is only fit for strong and knowledgeable people in physics to master these weapons.

But with guns, an unwell-trained soldier can surpass a mastered bowman or crossbowman with only months to a year of training, which is fast as hell to me. Because guns have already had the advantage on the range, a small gun called pistol could shoot accurately to 50 meters and this green gun, maybe more...I think so!

To shoot a bow at a long distance, we need to be good at strength and physics, drawing the bow's string as powerful as possible to make a long and powerful shot. To shoot a crossbow, you need to be good at physics because the strength part has been taken care of by the crossbow's string, we only need to put a bolt into the crossbow to shoot it, that's all.

I was wondering what would Sir Rigen's homeland warfare strategies look like, according to my thought when he told me to sneak behind the statue, maybe he told me to avoid being shot by hiding behind it. I saw that the green gun I was holding had a hole on its body, maybe the things called bullet shells would fly out of this hole after shooting according to what Sir Rigen told me and Her Highness. I took out the thing called "gun's magazine" which was below and was attached to the gun with the use to hold the bullets, its sound while removing made my ears feel so relaxed, want to do it again.

I looked inside the magazine and saw bullets in it, these things must be made of bronze, their colors were so shining. I put the magazine to the gun again, I would stay guard until Sir Rigen or Her Highness comes out to tell me to have a break.

My eyes felt a bit itching after aiming the gun with one eye open, one eye close, I would take 10 minutes nap, I didn't see any enemy. I slowly sat and pressed my back on the statue...Sir Rigen suddenly came outside and gave me a small white thing, which was called an airpod, he always wore it while wearing his Advisor.

"Reimi, Advisor has gone lazy again, if you hear something while wearing this airpod, call me." - I slowly took the airpod, I put it in my left ear, I hope I have put it on properly

"Nod!" - I nodded and Sir Rigen walked inside the room and closed the door, I slowly closed my eyes to sleep

I was wondering what those people were talking about but I was very cautious, their talks mentioned "the people who escaped", meant us. Which meant they were searching for us to kill us, I immediately stood up after picking up my green gun.

I peeked out of the statue because I heard the voices coming out from there, the hallway, I later saw...a bunch of monster soldiers.

Those soldiers were walking in a circle and were away from me maybe more than 200 meters, 10 men. They were opening each classroom door as if to check for people inside there or not, I must fight back, they didn't see me yet, it might be a good chance for me to fight.

(Clear!) - A goblin yelled when he stepped into an empty classroom

(Clear!) - An Orc yelled when he stepped into the next empty classroom

(Room clear, Sir!) - A dark elf who was carrying a gun which was similar to Sir Rigen's, he wore a green metal object on his back

(Keep forward.) - The dark elf who wore a purple beret must be Lieutenant Waley, he was standing in in front of his soldiers, that one was the leader, must kill him

I immediately pointed my gun out of the statue to aim at the commander with my standing posture but my right eye got more blurred when I was aiming at a target that was away from me by hundreds of meters. I changed my aim from aiming one eye to both eyes, my vision was better but the target I wanted to shoot was small like a nut in this distance, I held tight to my gun and pointed to the middle to make the most accurate shots.

My hands were a bit shaken while holding the gun, I must hold my breath...I held my breath and then slowly pulled the trigger.

"Bang! Bang! Bang! Huhhhhhh!" - I pulled the trigger and my shoulder felt to be pressed hard behind, the gun heavily come up while shooting and I was shocked because of the loud of 3 gunshots

(Ahhh!) - A goblin who was standing before Waley suddenly fell

(Enemy contact! Private Rawn, you charge toward him, now!) - Waley yelled and then an Orc soldier walked fast toward me while pointing his long gun

"Gunshots!" - I saw a bit that the Orc was shooting at the statue, which I was hiding behind it, the bullets made the statue being shredded slowly and the loud noises made my ears almost deaf

My body suddenly got grabbed and pulled back by someone, I turned around and saw that was Sir Rigen, he pulled me to the door.

"Stay inside there, Reimi!" - Sir Rigen yelled and then he crawled, exposing his body out a bit while pointing his gun out to shoot

"Bang! Bang! Bang!" - Sir Rigen slowly fired three shots, he later pulled out a dark green oval object named a grenade, he pulled off a thing called a pin and then threw it forward the hallway

Sir Rigen crawled to the statue again while hiding his body, pointing his gun out to shoot the target.

(Grenade, take cover!) - I hear a big yell from the enemies

"Boom!" - A big explosion came out and then Sir Rigen crawled out again and then pointed his gun in the hallway to shoot

"Bang! Bang! Bang!" - When the first time I used a gun, I pulled the trigger and fired out 3 shots at once but Sir Rigen only pulled the trigger after one second and kept repeating it slowly, with his crawling posture, which made me feel his shots were all accurate

I must help him! I immediately sneaked behind the statue with my standing posture and then pointed my gun out, I saw that half of the enemies had died.

"Bang! Bang! Bang! Clack! Clack! Clack!" - My shoulder got pulled back again after shooting, I kept pulling the trigger but the gun didn't shoot, maybe out of ammo

"Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt!" - I noticed that Her Highness was beside me, she pointed her magic stick out and then shot out 4 water balls

"Boom!" - Ms. Erik ran past Sir Rigen while pointing her magic stick out and made an explosion magic, the attack range of magic is a maximum of 300 meters, Ms. Erik was very excellent in magic

"Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Shit!" - Sir Rigen yelled because he was mad, Lieutenant Waley and the soldier who was behind him had picked up dead soldiers' bodies to cover them, they later ran away

"Let's move out!" - Sir Rigen got up and ran very tactical when he ran and then sneaked behind obstacles and then kept repeating it until he got to the place which had enemies' corpses

"Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Clear!" - Sir Rigen fired 8 shots at the dead enemies' heads and then crouched while pointing his palm behind us to tell us to wait for his order

Lady Akane and Her Highness were bringing two big brown bags on their shoulders, they were walking behind me. Ms. Erik was now pulling out a sword from a dead Orc's body but she kept crouching beside Sir Rigen while pointing her magic stick toward the hallway.

"Ms. Erik, please stay away from me for at least 5 meters for safety." - Sir Rigen said to Ms. Erik while pointing his gun forward and Ms. Erik slowly did what Sir Rigen said

"Reimi, Shera, Akane, the three of you gather the enemy's weapons, quick!"

Her Highness and Lady Akane put their magic sticks on their belt and then picked up guns from dead enemies, I also joined to pick up with them. I saw a goblin who had the same gun as mine so I took out the gun's magazine and then removed the pouches in the goblin's armor.

These pouches must be used to store the gun's magazines, I think! Her Highness picked up a long gun from the Orc, she was quite curious about the gun because she was pointing it on the roof. That long gun seemed to be heavier than mine, the gun I was holding was heavier than my sword at least twice, my sword weight was 1,7 kgs but this green gun must be 3,0 kgs or more.

"Shera, do not do anything on that gun until I have taught you to use that BAR!" - Sir Rigen yelled and then stepped back while pointing his gun forward

"Take all enemy's weapons and we will head back to the room!" - Sir Rigen grabbed some grenades and then took a gun from a dead dark elf and then stepped back

We later picked up all enemy's weapons, left some swords behind and then returned to our room. Sir Rigen...what should I say? He scolded me a bit heavy when I didn't report to him that I saw the enemy soldiers but he later calmed down and apologized to me.

Ten more minutes had passed now, Lady Akane was guarding outside while carrying a gun which Sir Rigen called the gun was named M3, she had already known how to use it before Sir Rigen taught her, strange. Sir Rigen was now teaching Her Highness and Ms. Erik to use the guns, the sticks had been fully replaced with new magic stones and we would move out to save the hostages after Sir Rigen have done teaching us.

I took a few minutes sitting in a corner to find out more about the gun I was using - which was named the M3 submachine gun. Sir Rigen after having done teaching Ms. Erik and Her Highness, he came to my position to teach me more about the M3 gun.

Sir Rigen said my gun had no metal switch to change the fire mode like his gun - named Thompson. My gun would shoot when I put the magazine in and remove the dust cover - the metal part which could be switched out and in to cover the gun's hole when I didn't need to shoot.

He also said the gun M3 was very fit for a simple mind like me. According to what Sir told me, the gun which was armed for the goblin soldier was named an M3 submachine gun, a simple gun that had been used in his homeland's war nearly 100 years ago.

This gun was cheap-made, fast manufactured and simple used, only shooting automatic mode, after hearing what Sir Rigen told me about this gun's history, I have favorite it now, hehe. But in the additions, Sir Rigen even taught me to change my shooting posture, I should stand only when I have no combat situation or while rushing to find obstacles to cover my body when I face a firefight.

Sir Rigen also taught me to crouch when I was in a defensive position while sneaking behind obstacles, "shooting while standing is very easy to die when the enemies would always aiming to your chest", he said.

When I was facing enemies, when the distance was more than 100 meters. I must crawl to shoot and to hide better, to avoid being hit by the enemy's bullets because the bullets would hardly hit me when I was crawling.

Though Sir Rigen did not teach me fully but I have somehow understood his world's military ways of fighting. It was about hiding ourselves and eliminating the enemies in a short time with guerilla attacks, said simple was killing the enemies by attacking from behind

This strategy was also similar to what the elven army did to Attenta Kingdom 30 years ago according to a history book that I had read when I was in my school, elves were our Warsaw's ally in the war against Attenta at that time. The elf's population was limited because of their long lifespan, which made the elves didn't breed much but focused on researching knowledge, sending people to Dwarves Kingdoms and Ashura Kingdom to study, reform their military ways...etc.

Our humans called the elven people, the dwarves, beastmen and even Ashura people barbarians but I think we were the true barbarians. We never sent our people to other continents to study, we were isolating ourselves.

Maybe this invasion was the wrath of the Goddess, now a dark future was about to come to our humans. We may retake the school from the enemies but we would be soon enslaved or slaughtered by the demons, maybe we will all die after hours or days.

We believe to kill the Demon Lord to save this entire world though the demons hadn't attacked us for 500 years and the demons only kill humans, not other races. But elves also hate demons like our humans because the demons were always annexing elves' territory to use them against humans in the wars.
