Chapter 7: Ailia Town (Part 1)
We were about to come to Ailia town, which was the border town between the Kingdom of Attenta and the Kingdom of Warsaw. The Kingdom of Warsaw was the place Shera called to be her homeland.
We were nearly there, the progress has been faster than I expected, we could now see the town from far away. We managed to get here in about ten days, Shera and Reimi were very excited when we got here.
During the traveling, I had sparred swords with Reimi, also tried to cast magic and learn more about this world. Till now I could not cast magic, and my sword skill was not improved much.
Reimi said to me that my muscles were so muscular but not effective much in combat. She said my sword strikes were powerful but my moves when dodging and striking were still slow.
"The most important things in fighting are strength and endurance, but if you don't fast enough then having a muscular body is just useless."
"Sword fights are ended very fast even if you have armors, the experienced enemies would strike into weak body parts that exposed on the armor."
"You must swift in your sword strikes and also your dodges to survive."
"Keep it up, Sir Rigen! You can strike the sword swift and powerful with your muscular body in a short time if you train hard, you can do it!" - That's all Reimi said to remind me
Maybe I should have learned some martial arts or learned calisthenics in my world to train my endurance instead of buying dumbbells and barbells home to train overdue my arms.
But about arms, I trained my arms the most, especially my forearms for...night exercises while watching "education videos".
But why my hand's grip strength was surpassed by Reimi? Did she have good genetics...or she was a gorilla when she was born?
So I have to avoid questioning Reimi and Shera questions such as: What is the name of this world? They would automatically suspect me if I asked them those questions.
So I asked them about their homeland and their neighborhood, here were what I got from the girls' info.
The Warsaw Kingdom was having a coup and the nobles...only the royal people were refugees to the Attenta Kingdom, the neighboring country of Warsaw.
Shera and Reimi were ones of the nobles in the royal, which made me more suspicious of Shera's status. Too easy for me to guess after watching too many ancient and fantasy movies...but I think maybe the 3 years old kids can also have the answer.
I also asked why the rebel soldiers wanted to kill Shera, Reimi answered that Shera was an important person in the Warsaw Kingdom so she got targeted because of it. Reimi didn't talk much about her master's social status.
I have already considered Shera as a Princess by her appearance and her behavior, posture and the way she talked to her servant and me so I also changed my way of talking to Shera slowly.
On the way to this Kingdom, we could not wear the same clothes for a long time so had to wash them and wore other ones.
Reimi and Shera changed their clothes by using the clothes in their luggage. Not a dirty pervert but I felt strange when I peeked at Shera and Reimi change their clothes, Shera wore underwear but Reimi did not.
I should not ask the girls, they would slash me very lovely or slap me very hard if I ask them, maybe Reimi didn't have the authority to wear a bra like Shera.
But, I'm not a dirty pervert...just a clean and silent pervert so...
Sometimes I pointed my Advisor at Reimi and Shera's positions when peeking at them to take their pictures when they have completely removed their clothes to change other clothes.
I used the pictures that I took to masturbate, to relieve myself when I was guarding the girls at night.
I felt very excited and had many orgasms when I looked at the naked girls' pictures that I took when I was masturbating, I wanted to touch Shera and Reimi for real but I kept calm down when I met them.
I should have behaved normally with Reimi and Shera as their friends, I didn't want to trouble them with my libido.
I should stop doing this, I felt my mind was very out of ordinary to have the idea to peek at the girls to change their clothes in excitement.
Maybe I should remind these girls to guard up if some asshole peeks at them when they were changing clothes.
But wait...that asshole was me so...they would guard up on me. Maybe I should stop peeking at the girls and not say to them anything that I did.
About me, my bag except for the green uniform only has jungle camo pants and a white T-Shirt. I wore these things right now, it was a bit struggle when I only have my uniform and the white T-Shirt to wear.
The girls were at first curious about my clothes and the dog tag I wore on my neck. Maybe their world didn't have this kind of clothes design, and they saw my clothes looked to be sewed in every detail.
Because this world was set in the middle ages mixed fantasy so...I didn't surprise much when the girl reacted like that.
I said to the girls that the clothes I wore were just casual ones and the dog tag which has the numbers and my name on it meant "The Medal of Powerful Mages".
Well, Reimi was very doubted my word, only Shera believed me whatever I said...
Maybe my tricks could only make Shera believe, not Reimi though that muscle brain later would follow her master's thoughts when Shera told her to, poor girls
We were now at the gate of the border, 2 guards were wearing black leather clothes with the red Dagger emblems.
According to Shera's info, those were the emblems of Attenta Kingdom, the soldiers have come out and blocked our way.
"Where did you people come from?" - One of 2 guards asked us but they didn't show a good attitude
"I'm Reimi Frieden, a Royal Guard of Warsaw Kingdom, the closest guard of Princess Shera Sonne of the Kingdom of Warsaw, the woman is standing before you."
"Our country is now in a coup so we got here as the royal people refugee."
"On the way to this town, we have been split out from the group of Prince Hoster Soone, Princess Shera's brother!" - Reimi explained to the guards
I knew it! Shera was a Princess but I kept silent to let Reimi explain to the guards, maybe I could gather more info about these girls.
"Even if your story is true, then we need to have a paper to verify your story!" - The guards said to us
"What kind of paper?" - Shera asked with confusion
"Every royal noble from your place who comes to our Kingdom for refugee must have a refugee paper to confirm the person go for that purpose, every paper must have a Warsaw crest."
"Maybe we left it in the carriage, is there anyways else for us to get in?" - Reimi asked the guard
"Then you must pay 50 Atta coins to get in if you are from another country, 20 Attas for our citizens that lost their citizen cards. Or you need to show us a citizen card of our country, an Adventurer card, a Merchant card or an Assassin card."
I heard the soldier speak the word "Assassi", this world's language reduced the last character of the word, Assassi...Assassins?
The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings.
"Assassin?" - I asked because I'm so curious
"The Attenta Kingdom is very well known by the words Assassin, their country trains assassins, they're all outstanding people, half of their country's income comes from assassinations!" - Shera explained to me
"Your country and ours don't use the same currency, can you please change our Gel currency to yours and let us in?" - Reimi asked the guards
"We are border guards, not traders! If you don't have our money, go away! Or you will be held in custody!" - A guard shouted to Reimi's face loudly
"Even if we let you in, we need to arrest the man that is in your group, his clothes and the things he brought with him are strange. His voice didn't sound like ours though we all the Kingdoms here use the same language."
"Hey!" - A blonde-haired man touched the guard's shoulder
"Ah! Lord Hoster, what do you need from us?" - The guard then respectfully asked the man named Hoster
Hoster huh? Wasn't that the name of Shera's brother?
"These people are exceptions, let them pass."
"Yes, my Lord!"
Then the guards let us in with respectful attitudes, we easily goy into the town. The man named Hoster later come toward Shera and hugged her.
"I have waited for you and your people so long, my little sister."
"Yes, brother! I'm glad that you and your men had come to this place safely."
"What about the others, where are Hermann and his guards?" - Hoster asked Shera
"My Prince! Hermann and his men have, have..." - Reimi talked to Hoster and was about to have some tears
"Alright! They were all heroes for saving my little sister's life, they will be remembered forever, their deaths are not in vain." - Hoster talked to Reimi
Reimi seemed very glad to hear the man named Hoster say that, then that man pointed his direction at me, he stared at me for a bit. Maybe he was wondering why a strange man like me could have a chance to follow these girls.
"My little sister! Who is this man exactly?" - Hoster asked Shera in a bit cautious
"He is John Rigen, Sir Rigen is a noble, he saved us Tod jungle. His clothes and his accent must be strange to you but Sir Rigen is a good man, brother." - Shera explained to her brother
Then Hoster got his hands out of his sister and went toward me, he looked straight at me. Maybe he was suspecting why I went with his little sister.
"John Rigen! My thank cannot describe how much kindness you have done to save my little sister and her guard."
"This Prince - Hoster Soone, hopes you will accept my bow to thank you, Sir Rigen." - Hoster bowed to be very deep and then raised his head to look at me, he was still in cautious
"I would like to ask you if you don't mind, Sir Rigen! Where did you come from exactly?"
Okay! I need to lie again.
"I need to say a way honest to you, Prince Hoster that I'm not from this place. My homeland is named the Kingdom of United States, a very far place from here."
"I never heard of this Kingdom before, can you tell me, Sir Rigen? Where is your homeland is exactly located, your country didn't come from our continent."
"My homeland is located in a continent named North America, a very far place."
"I'm sorry, Prince Hoster! I was with two more of my people who came here for traveling."
"But I lost them and I also lost some of my memory so I could not remember the way to return to my homeland."
"I woke up and noticed I was in the forest like your little sister said, I accidentally found her and her guard was in danger so I saved them."
"You had a hard time coming here, Sir Rigen! I'm in the name of my homeland to give you and your homeland, the Kingdom of United States the deepest thanks."
"You people must have been exhausted by the long journey, please follow me!"
"I have rented an Inn named Summer Glass Inn near here, let's me lead you, Sir Rigen with my sister and her guard to it."
"Wait a little bit, brother! What is about the situation of the coup in our homeland? Did our father escape?" - Shera asked her brother
"Our father managed to wipe out the rebels, the situation is now settled down a little bit, my little sister."
"Our father has sent me a letter and said we can go back to our homeland Warsaw now."
"I have decided to depart in about 1 week from now on or sooner, my little sister."
"I'm so glad that our homeland has won the coup, brother." - Shera talked so happily, I didn't know anything so maybe I must keep quiet
"But before we get to our inn, my brother! We should take Sir Rigen to a physician or a healer now." - Shera talked to her brother about my fake illness, maybe there will be no problem tricking them
"Why?" - Hoster is curious, he glanced his eyes at me a few times when Shera didn't notice
"Sir Rigen said to us that he has an illness that made him cannot cast magic, it is caused by a strange illness in our place, which his homeland didn't have."
"My brother, please lead me to meet a physician or a healer to cure Sir Rigen's illness!" - Shera kept begging Hoster to cure my illness, poor Princess!
"The Adventurer's Guild in this town has glass balls that can be used to measure the magic elements, it also can be used to verify someone ill and what kind of sickness."
"Alright, follow me, I'll lead the way." - Hoster talked to us and then we slowly walked with him
My illness was just a lie but I think I can find another way to lie to these people later m no need to worry about it.
We slowly got inside the town, I have to admit that I was very impressed with the structures, the scenery and the people in this town, looked very like the middle ages.
The town was so lively, just like in the fantasy, isekai fiction about the middle ages that I saw in anime and manga though I only saw medieval here, no fantasy like other races yet.
The Adventurer's Guild was not so far from here, just about 10 minutes on foot, its entrance doors were wider than what I saw in other fiction, this must be a big Guild to me.
We opened the guild's doors, like the same as other fantasy fiction to me. The big boards that have quest papers made from furs that were stuck on them and the people around the place who brought armors, cloaks, swords spears and staffs.
But I only saw most humans, some Dwarfs and Beastmen, not even an Elf inside the Guild, I felt a bit disappointed because of that, it should be more fantasy.
A Guild girl saw us get inside the Guild and headed toward her so she seemed very happy.
"Are you people here to register!?" - The girl seemed very happy to have newcomers, but no! We were here to use free stuff
"No, miss! We are here for example illness by using glass balls." - Shera talked to the Guild girl
"Huh? You people didn't get here to register but to cure illness! This is the Adventurer Guild!"
"Get out! You need to pay 100 Atta coins for using a glass ball, the price is not free!"
"If you don't have the money, go away! It is very disrespectful to go to this place without registering!"
"And also, some of your people seemed to have the Warsaw crests on your chests but know your place, you Warsaw!"
"Warsaw people are not worthy to be treated well here, you are nothing but our vassal states." - The Guild girl seemed angry and she also showed some racism toward Shera and us
"Know your place, commoner! I and the woman that stands before you are Prince and Princess from the Warsaw Kingdom, watch your mouth when you talk."
"I can get you to be fired out of this job if you rude to us again, I can even make your parents and your family ruined too!" - Hoster threatened the Guild girl
"I'm very sorry for this, please the Prince! Don't make me lose the job! And please spare my mom and my kids" - The Guild girl was begging Hoster in scare, she breathed very hard and looked at Hoster with her beg eyes
"Then let us use the glass ball."
"Yes, right away! You don't need to pay the money!"
That Guild girl rushed inside a room that seemed to be a storage and searched for a glass ball and ran toward us, her face was still terrified, she was now scared to death.
"Then may I ask politely, the Prince and the Princess here? Who is the person who got ill that needs to examine?" - That Guild girl asked us
"Me!" - I slowly walked toward the guild girl while raising my hand, I will find more excuses for the Princess if my lie was exposed, no need to rush
"Sir, please show me your hand, let me hold it right to touch the ball for the verification." - The guild girl asked me to show my hand to her
The Guild girl held my right hand, slowly touching that glass ball, she told me to hold it for a little longer.
Then the glass ball glowed in 5 different colors: Red, Brown, White, Blue, and Black. It even showed me a small pillar next to the colors which were very short and has some words on the pillar.
Maybe I used to speak the language here but I was still struggling to guess the meaning of words though they were similar to English, just need to erase the last characters to understand.
"You had got diarrhea recently but it ended, that's all I don't see anything unusual in your body, Sir." - The Guild girl talked to me and the others and then seemed confused about the other things that had been shown on the glass ball
The true problem was when everyone focused their eyes on the pillar and the colors that glowed on the glass ball. They went silent, Shera and Reimi expressed their shock, seemed like something very serious happened here, I felt something wrong.
"No way! Ordinary people can only own 2 elements of magic, even the greatest mage of my Kingdom only owns 4."
"But Sir, you own all 5 elements, even the non-attributed magic." - The Guild girl was shocked about it but then she looked at the color
"Red means Fire Magic, White means Wind Magic, Brown is Earth Magic, Blue is Water Magic and Black is Non-Attribute Magic, you can use all of these magic elements."
"But your magic power is naturally weak, its pillar is very short means your magic power is only as enough as a 1-year-old baby."
"You cannot cast any elements of magic at all! You are just a filthy powerless! Hahahaha!" - The Guild girl said aloud to me and then laughed very loud as if to insult me
The people in the Guild after hearing what the Guild girl said to me, they have also laughed at me as the guild girl did. I could hear some of them insulting me from behind, what was wrong with them?
The people with me were all shocked and went silent, especially Shera and Reimi. Reimi's tears were now flowing out of her eyes and Shera was holding me from behind with her unpleasant face as if the people who could not use magic were considered useless.
"I thought Warsaw people didn't care about the powerless, maybe I was wrong!" - The guild girl got excited for some reason
"I don't think this Prince and this Princess are stupid enough to care about you, powerless!" - The guild girl talked with a very excited face when she was insulting us
"Hahahahahahaha! Let's see, this powerless's name is..." - Dammit! Does that glass ball have my name on it?
"Ah!" - The guild girl was shocked when she saw me push the glass ball which was placed on the stall fell to the floor, the glass ball touched the floor and broke into a piece of glasses
"Pay the money! Pay the money now!" - This whore did not deserve to live!
I immediately punched the guild girl's face with a very strong blow and made her fall to the floor. I saw her back has been stabbed by the pieces of glasses which were on the floor but I didn't care.
"Sir Rigen! We need to talk!"
Shera suddenly held my hands tight and went out of the Guild with the laughing of the people around, seemed like everything was more complicated than I thought.
