Cory had no trouble getting the idea that Althea was flirty with him, someone like himself doesn’t have such great skill to flirt back with a female even if the one nearby isn’t human, she is still a female, and how to act with such a respond, he has no idea being at a loss of worlds.
“*Ahem*... right I think we shouldn’t keep you two if you wish to head over to Glenda's place before the rush hour starts,” Bert says, reminding Vex.
“Yeah, I know the tavern of hers is so famous and busy that we won’t be able to get a word with her until further late into the night. Come Cory let's get going then.”
“Guess it's time to leave and hope to see you again soon.”
“Me too Cory. I would love it if we could spend time talking about books if possible.”
The two say goodbye to each other as Cory and Vex make their way out of the library leaving Althea and her grandfather alone for the moment.
“So, granddaughter, what were you doing before our two friends showed up with that unique situation.” Bert started to move on to another matter.
“I was trying to get a book that looked like it was a bit further out of my reach than I thought Grandfather.”
Althea points at a book that was way above the bookshelf she tries to get it from when on the ladder. Bert cast a gravity spell to bring the book floating down and into his granddaughter's hands where she worked to place that same book to its rightful place.
“Now how did such a book get way up there?” Berts asked.
“The one to have that book was a flier and was being too lazy to properly place the book. I swear if you're going to take out a book then you should be responsible to place that book back at its proper place.”
“I agree every book here holds its value of knowledge that is important to keep safe from being mistreated and lost.”
“Yeah, grandfather about the human name Cory, his problem could truly be solved to where he can go back to this world called Earth.”
Bert doesn’t answer his granddaughter's question yet, taking the moment to stroke his long-braided goatee to think it over before giving the right answer.
“Hard to say such a case as this is truly rare to happen in Donnotov seeking to know how it happened is covered in a shadow of mystery and to send someone back is to be very challenging. That is why I would have to bring this matter to some old companions, see what they think, and work toward the problem seeing if we can send him back home.” Bert says.
“What about me, I know ways of magic grandfather do you think, I can be of any help with this problem.”
“You, my sweet, you are blessed in the way of magical arts, but I have to say Althea you are not ready for a level summoning since you haven’t trained much in it.”
“I see.” That was all that Althea said, sounding a little sad.
Bert smiles and takes small steps to get closer to placing his old weak hand on her left shoulder.
“Don’t be sad, keep on with your training in Magic and also look at the bright side depending on how long it would take. You have the chance to spend some time with the young man.” Bert says to her which causes a certain confused look on the face.
“What do you mean by that grandfather?”
“Oh, just that you have a crush on the boy and would like to get to know him more.”
“GRANDFATHER! What are you talking about?”
“Look at the time Nape time it is for me bye.”

Bert casts a disappearing spell to get away from the pure red Althea as he doesn’t want to get yelled at by her.
“Jezz what is that old goat talking about, I'm interested in the human, I don’t have a crush on him or anything like that.”

{west part of Holsworthy}
“So, this is the place where the tavern Glenda is running,” Cory asked as he and Vex stood before a big building with a large sign on the front titled The Good Empress Ale House.
“Yup, it is pretty much the best tavern to go to, being all popular to adventurers, guardsmen, and some of the locals that come around here for the best Ale and great food.”
“Is she an Empress?”
“When it comes to making some damn good Ale then, I have to say yes.”
Vex tells him while she moves forward to push the door open as Cory follows behind.
“Greetings! Welcome to The Good Empress ale house just give me a moment and I will be with…. Vex! How good to see, come for the unusual and you're not alone this time.” The two soon encounter a young pretty beast kin female pig with long short black midnight hair and deep-sea blue eyes.
Her body was short and feminine build wearing a barmaid-like outfit that helped in making sure that the chest area was given the boost for such a view to see and the curves on the body cannot be missed under that either.
At the time she was holding a glass mug filled to the top, spilling a little.
Seems as if Cory and Vex have arrived at the place it was already being filled by another few patrons drinking and eating some good food.
“Hey Dolly, yeah the human with me is named Cory,” Vex says to her.
“Nice to meet you, Cory.”
“Same here Dolly.”
Cory would have offered his hand for a well-mannered handshake, but that would be a dumb thing to do to someone's hands being busy at the moment.
“We came here looking to speak with your mother. Is she free?” Vex asked.
“Mama is busy at the moment serving the drinks and making the food, but I let her know you want to have a talk with her and just find a table to sit at.”
“Sure thanks.” Vex starts moving again to find her and Cory a table to sit at the two let Dolly get back to work.
The tables she picked were mostly at the side by the tavern wall where it can’t be missed at all. They just sat there doing nothing to say much of a word to each other seeing there wasn’t a topic to talk about and Cory didn’t feel right to annoy her with so many questions to ask.
“Well, if it isn’t Vex, I’m happy to see you girl how you have been.” Glenda the tavern owner says coming over to them.
Cory seeing Glenda for the first time got quite the impression as she has long brown hair tied up in a ponytail with dark black eyes. Her body was more toward a busty build curve being more noticeable than Dolly and this woman's breasts even looked to pop out at any moment.
He couldn’t believe it more so that the feeling in his pants was different from how a male would when seeing such a female form as this person was not bad looking. Yet this female isn’t human and brings Cory some questions in his head that need to be figured out.
“Hey Glenda, happy you can give us the time as there is a matter a kind-hearted person like you can help,” Vex says, talking in a respectful tone toward the women.
“Really what the problem is then, you know I don’t mind lending a hand depending on what it could be.”
“Well, this guy has gotten last on his travels running into a bad nasty group of raven dragonflies. Luckily my cool self was around the area to save him from the threat, but after all that another problem came to rise that is needing a place to stay and not having money. I thought someone like yourself would be able to help with that.”
Cory sees that Vex is lying about how he came to this world and trying to make herself look cool in it. Still, it is best to let this kobold do all the talking since she knows the person well.
“Oh, dear that seems unfortunate, but Vex I love to help with an easy problem that can be fixed, but my tavern isn’t an inn even if we have a few free rooms for use, and that is only for travelers looking to stay the night or two,” Glenda says.
“That's why, I think he can work for one of the rooms only you and Dolly are running the place here with just you two, and no doubt that could be a lot of worlds for such a small number.”
“You still have a point there even if I am being honest, he doesn't give the impression of a hard worker.”
“Can’t judge a book by the cover.”
Glenda starts to think, which goes on for nearly a near minute till finally has the answer to give them.
“All right, he can stay in one of the rooms in exchange for doing the work for it,” Glenda says as at the table both were glad to hear.
“Great, you're the best Glenda, always someone to turn to, now Cory you are a good human and do what she says got it? All right, I'm off to hit the guild before closing time.”
Vex got up from her seat giving Glenda a nice tight hug and then heading out the door leaving the tavern and silent Cory who had no idea what to say at the moment.
“Well, can't you start working tonight, so you can sit here having a nice drink and food as you look like someone who needs it? Then afterward you can take a nice bath to wash up all right Hun.” Glenda says.
“Thank you very kindly.”
Glenda warmly smiles leaving Cory alone at the table he was sitting at making no eye contact with anyone else there.
“Well guess I’ll be staying here for a while; wonder how long it's going to take to get back home to earth.”

{hour or two later in the tavern}
Cory had a nice meal and juice instead since Glenda thinks he is too young to have rest for a time until Dolly got him to follow her to a room where shockingly there was a large bathtub inside.
He didn’t think there would be such a thing as there in this world, but then again there is a library.
So take the moment to enjoy a nice warm bath thanks to Dolly being kind enough to do so. Cory now takes in the nice pleasure of the warm water laying head back with arms at the end of the bathtub sides where some of that water spills over.
“Oh man, don’t I need a nice warm bath to relax the body after a long day of working?” Someone unknown spoke from outside the other side of the door of the room he was using to take a bath.
Cory turns his head to see another new beast in a female fox walking in completely naked showing off long reddish-orange fur, black ears, legs, and feet. Long, bushy, white-tipped tail.
She had long straight blood red hair, green eyes with a tall and elegant build.
“Um… this bathtub is already being used.”
