Blake Cantu notices the expression Cory and Dolly are making on their faces. It held more worries than excitement compared to the others. The Difference is that these two have no idea about the training ground. It was normal for these two people to give it their all like they were trying to kill one another.
“Do not alarm yourselves, you two. How Tessa and Vex are fighting may look to be intense and serious looking, but that is not where it is heading, as neither has any desire to kill the other. To them, this is just a friendly duel that is much to the extreme, yet they both understand where to draw the line if things are looking to cross that same line. The fight comes to an end before that happens then again, it ends with them at a tie or one winning.” Blakes says to them to bring some ease to their mind.
“Is it always like this with them?”
“Whenever Vex has the chance to come around to the training ground, no simple equipment used by the others can’t help in improving her skill further if it is not an opponent to fight back. Training with another can show the person's improvement and what requires improving by the end of the duel.”
Vex slowly worked to get herself off the ground and back on both feet, shaking her head for the moment, having an annoyed expression everyone could see. Watch them start to think things are about to get even more exciting with this duel since it is never a disappointment between these two figures.
“You know that tail of yours was close to taking my head off when it slipped across my face.” Vex turns to look right at Tessa, having a cracked smile even while still annoyed with the pain.
“Oh, quite the complaining, you are still alive, aren’t you, since your mouth is moving and sounding the words. Enough of that, anyway, let's not dance around each other; let's unleash the power inside us to turn things up another level here.”
“Seeking to jump into the hardcore stuff already Tessa, not concerned about the training ground or those around watching our dual safety.”
“What the point in holding back Vex, but then again you make good two points don’t want to be at fault for damaging this spot putting me in a bad spot with the mayor or endangering the well-being of others knowing like anyone could die if at the right closeness for one of us to miss and our blade are inside another.”
All of sudden, Tessa and Vex's bodies were beginning to glow in a colorful Aura; one had a deep golden color and the other a light green color. Everyone could feel it coming off them being a bit powerful that a small number were unable to keep themselves from passing out from the force.
“What is going on with those two bodies?” Cory asked, doing his best to stay focused and not pass out the same as those who couldn't.
“Yeah, it seems they are doing something; I heard people talk about it some nights at the tavern but just can't seem to recall what it was called.”
“Well, it is not commonly spoken often in public, but this is to be tales of those able to unlock Aura of will; that is the name people would like to call it. Since it shows to be one's will to go further beyond one limit, this is known to be a rare case, but back in the time, there were many Auras of will users now there are a few in this day and age where only lucky random ones could.”
They watch on after learning what Tessa and Vex power the two of them called upon for their duel. Sametime both had moved with newfound speed for normal eyes to find it hard to keep track, but once two fighters had come to clash at each other, summoning forth a shockwave that blasted to all others around, having to fight from being pushed back.
Such an intense sight of the Aura of will users as they clash with one another as their Aura colors increase from both sides like that of flames. Everyone came to understand that their benefit was to keep their distance. So, to not receive an unwilling death from this duel, Blake made sure that Cory and Dolly took steps back as well.
Tessa and Vex's faces are shown with widened excitement as they fight, where the snake pushes back the kobold with full strength and then sends a fire shot attack with the golden spearhead.
How fast Tessa thrust was sent that created an image illusion of many coming after Vex that she was quick with her feet to dodge while her two hands had to do the same counting the spear with those daggers.
The crowd watching let out their voice to cheer on Tessa or Vex, wanting to see the one they cheer on win along, were there to be some betting among each other for side fun. Vex does her best to keep it up for much longer till just one tiny slip up from being a second slow as the golden spear comes to finally teach flesh when cutting forward at the right side.

Vex held back the pain, which influenced them to stay in the game, but another pain came when a fist slammed across her left face. This results in her performing a spin around, adding a sidekick that goes across Tessa's face, taking that snake by surprise. Where an angry hiss comes out along with the try at using those two fangs sharp enough to pierce another skin.
There was no way Vex was going to allow that to happen if caught there, not a chance to get out easily like the tail. Once back a step, she moves to the side when going forward fast to go for a stab with the dagger in her right hand, Tessa had good reflections to turn her whole body around in time for the blade of that dagger to miss.
She used the tail again to impact Vex's short body, sending the poor Kobold flying over to the crowd as a few were strong enough to hold their stances when catching her. How lucky Vex was to be in not crushing into these people inside. She was thankful, but there was no time to say it to them as the duel was still on.
“Vex, you should give up now; I can feel the victory within my reach, girl. Don’t think of it as shameful just means you will have to work hard all over to get back to my level, it seems.” Tessa does a little mocking to get her opponent annoyed to anger like always to be in any short type of fight.
Vex gets off them and takes a few steps forward. "I’m not going to give Tessa that my thing it is either my defeat or yours here.”
“That is the reason I like you. Inside that soul is a burning passion to keep on going, giving your blood and sweat into this duel till the last drop.”
“And I am as well to you, Tessa, even if you could be a pain in my ass at times.”
Vex and Tessa share a smile towards each other; then the kobold takes a deep breath as the Aura of a blue color grows brighter as it touches the dagger blades that soon slash a blue X-like manner that is sent for its target.
Tessa holds ground doing her powerful attack cultivating her own Aura of will that shines high. The golden spear goes up then comes down, creating a huge, powerful golden slash coming towards Vex so hot and fast that after a few seconds, it splits into two.
This is known to be one of Tessa's attacks called {Twins Fangs of elimination}. It is a strong attack that, even though against an army, that very army would come to suffer many losses.
Just one person facing this attack alone would need to have faster speed to get out of its sights or a strong attack of their own to match, hoping to save their life and having faith in it.
It is also a very risky powerful attack to use when many others are living around. Many were starting to move as far away as not to get caught by what was just about to come from this.
During that very moment, both attacks fall into contact, turning into a shockwave explosion that takes everyone backward to the ground as the smoke mixes with some dust from the ground.
Tessa wasn’t bothered by it; being more focused in a duel is far more important. After everything had come to clear the next moment, the kobold Vex had already made a move. From jumping into the job and reaching close enough to attack, Tessa reacted fast as best as she could to strike with a counterattack.
After both crossed each other paths, the two held a stance for a few seconds till acting at the same time, the dagger and the golden spear blades touched, blocking each other attacks by such a powerful force of wind-blown when it happened.
The crowd stayed silent. Not a single sound was made by and having eyes on Tessa and Vex seeing them enter a stalemate, and no one wished to ruin such a screen.
Blood gushing from Tessa's right shoulder showed that a cut-deep slash proved to be something the Kobold had done with no holdback.
“Impressive, Vex, you have wounded me nicely, and we'll deliver, but I’m not alone in that matter,” Tessa says as right on cue, Vex left shoulder gushing blood, looking to be more serious compared to the snake.
“Funny, you think? I only did one single slash against your body, Tessa. Don’t you think I would do a better job than that?”
“What was that?” Tessa soon felt another source of pain coming down around the left side.
Witnessing, Tessa has a loud laugh. No other reaction was to come while she bleeds from two slash wounds as if there is no need for concern. The golden spear is removed from the dagger blade, and as it comes to be placed down on the ground where Tessa holds the biggest smile of one to be so proud of another before their eyes.
“Vex, have won this duel, against me as I call this my defeat here,” Tessa admitted without feeling like one to be a loser, being mature enough to defeat.
The same could not be said for those who have bet on the Snake. Upset to lose some money, she betted on Tessa, knowing that she could keep going and would win; no one dared to complain about it to her out of fear of her wrath. There is no other choice than to take the loss of their money to those that they have made A bet with.
“Whoa, what a minute here? There is no right for me to have this as my win, Tessa. You're still standing and not on the ground.” Vex felt hard to believe this to be her victory.
“HA! Do you think I would play games that are not how I do it when it comes to fighting? I mean it Vex; what I said to you. It is your win in this duel, don’t you see? You landed these two cuts on me when there was an opening to do so, and if this were to be for death, then the third slash would have been at the neck area, ending my life. Also, we would have gone far longer than this, and there was no say that either of us would hold back much longer in the duel. I felt ready to let it all go on you, but even so, you won being acknowledged by another fellow warrior.”
Vex relaxed, still feeling this duel ending up in her favor wasn’t right; no, it wasn’t sitting right well-dressed kobold. Then again, the feeling of pain coming from the cut on her left shoulder started to remind existence, given the agony expression.
“Seems you require treatment; hey, anyone able to use magic, get your ass over here and heal the girl,” Tessa says, making a commanding order to whoever might be among the crowd.
“YES, TRAINING EXTRACTOR.”
One among the crowd was a well-dressed humanoid frog person of a chubby size run over to Vex aid.
Already casting a healing spell helped a lot with the pain and wound making it go away.
“So how many wins does that make for you?” Tessa asked since this is how they keep track of the winnings of every duel between them.
“One hundred and forty now Tessa.”
