Chapter 3

Cory wasn’t the strongest person when it came to strength but seeing someone falling off a ladder about to hurt themselves. He had to summon that inner strength to catch them, but it didn’t go as planned. instead, the butt of this female goat smacks right down into his face.

In the second it was kind of heaven to feel such a butt on a male face then reality kicks in when Cory hits the floor backwards. Ending up with her sitting on his face completely under the dress receiving a better-looking shot of the pink panties and the feeling of a round juicy soft butt touching his face.

“Ow!... that didn't hurt so much, how could that be.” The female goat says being quite curious about the matter.

She saw that there was someone on the floor with her as the body lay out in front of her eyes. Then came the feeling of something under the dress she was wearing looking down to see herself in someone unknown face at the time.

“OH MY GOD! I’m so sorry for sitting on your face like that.” The female goat says, becoming unbearable with what happened.

“It's fine your butt was nice on my…. I mean nothing bad came to my face being hurt, so no worry.”

“I’m glad that you weren't and thank you since it is clear to me you are the one to have saved me from hitting the floor hard.”

“No problem, I couldn’t let you get hurt standing badly had to do something. I wish it was more of a better result in the end.”

Cory's eyes get to see the face belonging to the body and it shocks him a little as she does have the features of a goat, yet somehow looks like a human dressed in a weird way weirdly, and his own eyes do not forget to take in note that she had quite the slightly large breast area under that yellow dress.

At the same time, it seems the person he is talking to shows an expression of shock as one has now come to notice something important that the other hasn’t yet.

“Oh! I’m talking to a human now that I come to realize.” The female Goat says by the way her tone sounded.

“Yeah, I’m human, is this your time seeing one and talking to one.”

“Seeing one is not a first, but talking to one this close is quite rare. Oh, right excuse me, I should tell you my name since we are speaking with each other.”

The female goat rose from the floor hitting her dress along the way to make sure it was clear from anything to be on it as a habit.

“My name is Althea Lawanda Perez, I am the granddaughter and assistant helper to the head librarian,” Althea says, doing a cute bow toward him.

Cory was a bit taken aback to be meeting the granddaughter of the old goat that Vex had mentioned.

“Names Cory Bright just a simple human that far as I can tell you,” Cory says, rubbing the back of his head.

“It's nice to meet you Cory, could I help you with the reason you are here in our library? Looking for a book in mind you need finding.”

“I came here with another name, Vex. She went ahead to find your grandfather for a matter we need for another help.”

“Oh, Vex! You two come to meet, she quits the person who comes here whenever there is a book she needs help finding when it comes to a quest or just wants to be here for some reading time. Sometimes we spend time together here or outside discussing books we have finished reading to each other.”

That was something new to learn about Vex being a reader type of person, an impression Cory did not have about her when they met.

“Do you mind me asking what the two need help with, I could lend a hand in the matter depending on what it could be,” Althea asked because of her helping nature.

“Well, I don’t mind, but even if I tell you there is no way you are going to believe what I say.”

“Neither would I if not Vex being the one to explain your predicament which still sounds to me to be falsely true, but I am willing to be open-minded for her sake.”

Both look to see another humanoid goat person a male with a hump for a back and the old age you can’t miss by the look on this one face has a long-braided goatee and a few gray hairs as well. He wears glasses, has long horns that curl up, well only one as the other shows to be cut off clean, and a blue robe that covers the whole body with a staff in one hand.

“Grandfather and Vex it's nice to be seeing you again,” Althea says.

“It is always good to see you as well Althea.”

Stolen novel; please report.

The two went in to hug each other while the older goat went on to walk towards doing something interesting as he began to speak some words that Cory couldn’t make out.

Soon a colorfully white circle with symbols appeared in front of his face for a few seconds before it went away.

“The truth-speaking spell had been cast by me, Vex, whatever the human, for the next half hour until it ended, so best to get as much out of it now as before that.” The male goat says.

“What now? Vex what is he talking about”

“Bert here is a mage, a power at that who knows a whole lot of spells including ones that can help learn the truth when there is doubt of the words coming out of the person's mouth.”

Cory had a look of betrayal in a way it was when he thought the two of them were getting along and it seemed that wasn’t the case.

“Hey, I had to make sure that what was said out of that mouth was the truth,” Vex says

“But I wasn’t lying, all I said to you out there is the truth, Vex.”

“Can’t blame me for still wanting to make sure given how humans are seen to be people we can’t easily trust.”

Cory sighs feeling two mixed feelings at the moment one of understanding and the other of a little bit of anger. Yet there is nothing he can do about it, only to go along with it and to be done sooner.

“All right ask away your questions then, so we can get this over with,” Cory says letting it be known by his tone how annoyed he is by this.

“Then we'll start with the simple and easy one to ask where you are from.”

Bert took the lead of asking the questions with this human brought by Vex, a good friend to the old goat.

“I’m from a planet called Earth,” Cory answered fast, but when he did it felt like his words even when true just happened to come out with a force not by his control.

“A planet called Earth, and this is the same little information yourself has been given when you two both meet.”

“Yeah, so that is not a lie, he is from another world that has humans of its own.”

“Then I ask the next question: how did you come to end up in our world?”

“No idea, I was one day going home from school, and I thought of spending some extra time at a park I go to from time to time. To lay down on the grass with closed eyes to have a nap, the next thing to happen when I open them again is myself ending up in some different colorful flowers and trees as I saw.”

Bert takes a moment to process till moving on to another question to ask Cory.

“When you awoke in the rainbow flower fields where there was anyone else there or maybe a higher entity that could have used its power to bring you to this world,” Bert asked.

“No, there wasn’t anyone there to greet me when I came to, I was feeling very confused as to why I was no longer at the park. Thought it to be a dream, but those things that are called raven dragonflies show up and attack me, and then meeting Vex thinking it to be a dream seems to fall less and less.”

“I see this is quite an unnatural matter to be happening, but I cannot see it to be impossible.”

“What could you make of it grandfather?”

Althea asked him as she found this to be quite an interesting encounter with a human that doesn't belong to this world but to another called off-earth.

“Well, my dear granddaughter as far as what this young man is telling us, I can only think, he somehow was brought here by an unknown entity of great power beyond of yet understanding or somehow he didn’t know there could have been an open space time riff that was near him in his world,” Bert says.

“What about a portal that couldn't have been found and used but didn’t work out too well in the end to bring this guy here.”

“I didn’t bring that up since finding a portal is far from easy as there isn’t much left after what has come to pass in the past. Besides, using one will only be for those that use it to go into another realm, dimension, or world and yes to bring something from the other side over to this world like a certain monster or army. Highly likely someone will use it only to bring a human here and to have that same person end up around the area of where I town lives, but summoning does have its problems, so maybe it could be that.”

Bert goes on talking with a little excitement in his voice to Vex and Althea as the two are truly listening to what he has to say.

Cory at the moment comes to think that it might be his turn to ask questions as it is clear that learning about what brought him to this world isn’t working. Then what about going back since Bert is a mage who has great knowledge of magic?

“I have to ask since there is no true answer to how I came here, how about the way of getting back to my world then,” Cory asked.

“A good question to ask a young man, but I’m sorry to say that will not be an easy thing I can do or give much help to.”

“Wait! How come, you're a mage and a powerful one at that from what I can tell.”

“Yes, thank you for the compliment, but again I have to say sorry I wasn't the young goat back in those days. I am powerful in the arts of magic, but what you ask will require a lot of mana from the body and a connection that would link to this world and yours. Another would have to help with that or another higher being or even a portal.”

Cory becomes depressed seeing that nothing has been solved for the knowing on how he came or the way to get back home.

“Do you have anyone in mind to lend a hand in helping Cory get back home Bert,” Vex asked.

“Hard to say, I do know a few people who are good at magic like me, but to find the person for the job takes a lot of time and to have them agree to help the human you know.”

“Well then guess, I have to just leave him with you two to help get back home as I’m going to take my leave and head back to the guild see yaw.”

Vex seeks to ditch Cory onto Bert and Althea moving fast on her feet, but not fast enough when it comes to the most powerful mage whose spells cast within seconds to create a shield that enclose Vex in making it impossible to break out of.

“Vex you know that he cannot stay with us, we don't have the room and this place isn’t an inn. Go find one for him.” Bert says.

“And what use my hard-earned money no way Bert besides, he is a human even if from another world, and let's be honest not everyone in this town is that fund of one. So that is not going to be a good idea where most likely someone will kill him if left alone.”

“Isn't there to be someone else you can trust to leave alone with.”

“What about Lady Glenda who owns the tavern.”

Althea presented them with a person she thinks would be very trusting to rely on when in need of help.

“Oh, you're right Althea, that woman is too kind-hearted to turn away someone in need,” Bert says, impressed by the idea the girls gave.

“Glenda, I don’t know, she is such a good person that I don’t want to bother that woman with the human.”

“Is anyone going to tell me who Glenda is?”

“Glenda is a female pig beast kin, she lived in Holsworthy for some years with her four children. Two girls and two boys, three of them are already full-grown adults living their lives, but only one of the daughters still lives with her working at the tavern as well.”

Althea gives Cory the rundown of this Glenda he can’t help to find it amazing that she knows this much about a person.

“Man, you are good if you know all this Althea,” Cory says complimenting her.

“Oh well… I’m just a very good listener. It's all Cory, someone you can come to when you need a good person to talk to.”

“Keep that in mind, you're a person to feel comfortable talking to.”

Althea smiles warmly at him feeling a little red by the kind comment he made about her.

“There is a question, I have to ask you Cory before you have to leave,” Althea says.

“Shoot.”

“Did you happen to look under my dress before that incident?”

“I…n…n… yes.”

Cory's mouth couldn’t say the word no a little white to avoid the wrath of peeking at Althea, but she didn’t look to be angry and still had that peaceful smile on her face.

“I see well when the next time we meet alone, I think you should return the favor as it is fair don’t you think.”
