chapter 18

Glenda quickly rushes in to give Cory a powerful tight hug that brings about a shocking feeling of pain rushing in again when being lifted into the. The only good thing for him is the pleasant pillow and big breasts his face gets to feel from this pig lady when between them.

If Cory was to die, then such a way as this wouldn’t be a bad thing, he doesn’t mind at all since it seems more a peaceful way to die.

“GLENDA! Hey, you got to let him go as the way you are hugging the poor guy will probably have the last hug of his life.” Estela was concerned about the hugging this lady was giving him.

“Mom! Please don’t be the one to kill Cory.”

“Oh boy guess, I won’t be able to meet the guy properly cause our mom is going to kill him with one of her hugs.”

The brother of Dolly says laughing while Glenda comes to see what she was doing to Cory. letting go fast for him to get some air in his lungs again when they were cut off by that hugging.

“Oh dear, I’m so sorry I couldn't help myself there being so overjoyed to see you up and about in front of me.” Glenda apologizes for such a hug feeling bad about it.

“It's…. All right, don’t worry about it.”

The next person to hug him was Dolly doing it more lightly and easily with the loss of breathing or pain from the pressure on the wound.

“I’m glad to see you, Cory,” Dolly whispers, not wanting the others to hear her say that.

Before Cory had a chance to respond, she already returned to her mother saying not to make any with him. When her turn is over the last person to have time with him is the big brother who steps towards Cory who he feels to be small since this guy is like a towering giant compared to him. Cory notices that the humanoid Hog pig is wearing a white clean tank top and black pants.

“Put it there Cory, my name is Carson, happy to get a chance at meeting, I wanted to say thanks for helping my mother and sister the other night against that thug Preston harassing my mother and sister.” Carson thanks him while putting out a hand for him to grab.

“Oh well, it's nice to meet another child of Glenda, and that other part, I didn’t do much since my help was cut short as he had me by one hand at the throat when I tried attacking him the first time.”

Cory takes the hand, forming a handshake with him that between the two of them, Carson is the winner when it comes to strength given how strong he was gripping his hand.

“Don’t cut yourself short heard you had a sword on you that gave a nice cut to that monster's face,” Carson says with a smile on his face as he then breaks off the handshake.

“Yeah, he did, the asshole deserved it, but I still wish I had a turn to make that whole head go away with that new gun in my hand.”

Cory felt kind of embarrassed getting such praises from Carson and the fox Estela at the same time complimenting him.

At the moment there comes the interesting sound of one stomach growling loudly causing the others to be silent as the person that sound came from is Estela. Not caring about the sound coming from her stomach at all as anyone would have been a bit embarrassed.

“Oh, that's right you didn’t have the chance with the two of you, how about we all sit at a table and eat some delicious food I will cook up together.” Glenda sounds happy at the idea of making them food.

“Yeah! I’m starving over here Glenda fill this belly up.”

“Leave it to me, Estela, I made lots of food that your stomach won’t be able to make that sound again for the next few days.”

“Cool to hear as myself. It's the same way being asleep for half the day.”

The kind woman was happy to start cooking food with Dolly helping as it seemed she wanted to make some food for a certain someone the girl was starting to care more about.

Cory, Estela, and Carson go pick out a random table sitting down where the first person to talk right away is the son of Glenda.

“So, while the food is being made by Mom, how about you Cory tells me about yourself more while we do the waiting.” Carson took the chance to get to know Cory more since Estela was already a person the two had met.

“Me well I got nothing to say, being only in Holsworthy for two days now, and am grateful to your mother Glenda for letting me stay here in this place for free. Of course, that without leading a hand in helping out in the tavern, which I didn't get to do after all that happened last night.”

“Yeah, Mom told me about that part, when you first arrived here it was with Vex as she is a regular to this place, and don’t worry about that part. What you did and what Preston had done to you not being about to work that night, she didn’t even care about that or even open that same night worrying so much for your well-being.”

“Well, that's good to hear, but I still owe it to your mother and will work to pay her back for that kindness.”

“Don’t forget to bring up the part of thinking about joining the adventure guild.”

When Estela let that out of her mouth Carson's eyes widened as he jumped out of his seat with both hands on the table staring right at Cory.

“You wish to become an adventurer!” Carson shouted.

“In a sense maybe…. I am still thinking it over and haven't answered yet since it is something I must be sure of doing.”

Carson sat back down in his seat being a bit calmer now crossing his arms.

“Sorry about that, just think it to be cool yourself, maybe become an adventurer just like my brother is,” Carson tells him.

“Your brother's adventure, what rank is he in.”

"Let see me and him don't get a lot talking down with each other give to how we always busy, last I was told he is to be rank Gold."

“GOLD!” Cory takes the turn in being the one to shout out this time a bit more loudly than Carson.

Estela and Carson had a little laugh at the human reaction there and then the Hog pig went on talking.

“That's right my brother worked hard to get there, you can say he is addicted to doing quests as he is aiming to reach the top rank,” Carson says, his tone filled with admiration towards one another.

“Seems like someone, I should try to meet your brother the next time I pay a visit to the adventure guide.”

“Will that guy come to visit this tavern and see his mother whenever he takes a break away from adventuring?”

“Hard to say since we haven’t talked for a while now. Next time we do, I’ll make sure he comes to spend time.”

At the moment Cory thought to ask two questions here between the two people most likely to answer the first question at the same time, but for the second question, there was mostly one person to answer it here at this table.

“Oh, who was the one to help take care of my wound? I would like to give them my thanks.” Cory asked the first question.

“That will be Grief Hunter, she was the one to lend a hand in stitching a wound out of nowhere. I found it strange that her behavior in helping was out of nowhere, but after watching that person work fast on you, stitching close the wound tells me those hands have done it many times.”

“Who? Estela cares to give more details on a person's name like that.”

“She is someone who happened to come at the right time when things were getting ready to turn for the worst. Preston knew her well to not try to get into a fight either out of fear or knowing the chances weren't in his favor of winning. She was the only person to eat in the tavern being thanked and rewarded for doing it. Yet Grief Hunter left right after when done.”

Cory now has to look out for this person if there is ever a chance, he and she would be able to meet face to face.

“Grief hunter who is also a person me as well will give thanks whenever she comes around our forge. Requesting and paying for repairs on armor and the large sword she carries on that back of hers.” Carson says throwing in some information about the Grief Hunter.

“Sounds like you can be the one to help the two of us get a better understanding of this person.”

“Sadly Estela, me, or the other guys know much to nothing about her, but just about her being a wandering mercenary coming around town whenever around to rest, eat, and get equipment fixed up.”

Cory and Estela get the idea that Grief Hunter isn’t someone to be an open book not letting anyone else get a read on her.

“So, you're a blacksmith huh Carson.” Cory moved on to talk about this person's job.

“Yup, that's right, been one for about three years working for my boss who runs the place.”

“How is the one-eyed old man doing by the way Carson?”

“Oh, you know, same old same old, Grampy and hard working as ever these days nothing much known of being new with him.”

Cory looked between the two of them wondering who they could be talking about as the one-eye thing made him think of one or two things that could mean and needed to make sure before anything else.

“One eye? You say, Estela.” Cory asked.

“Huh on that right Carson's boss is a Cyclops.”

When that came out of her mouth, he was shocked to learn about a cyclops running a forge. The funny thing is Cory shouldn’t be this way when already meeting such beings in this town, but he can’t help it since ending up in another world still is something he isn’t yet used to.

“Food is ready, get ready to eat lots, all of you don’t leave anything on the plant you hear me,” Glenda announced to the three.

She shows up holding lots of plants made with different food on them showing the pig women might have gone a little overboard. Dolly was carrying her share of food, but there was a special plant made for Cory as she was sure to place it right in front of him.

“Ha! Seems like moms work hard to fill their stomachs to the levels over the limits. You better be ready as you will never be able to eat the same food again for a while.”

{few hours later}

Cory was back in his room with a stomach that was too full never before in his life as all this food, he ate feeling it going to take days to eat ever again. He did have a good time with the others at the table having fun making conversation with each one of them there.

“God my stomach…. Too much food…. Bad.” Cory lays on the bed with hands on his stomach dealing with the pain of being overfilled.

During the moment there came the sound of knocking at the door that takes his attention off this feeling.

“Oh, who…. Could that… be at the door.” Cory slowly moves off the bed and walks towards the door.

Reaching for the door handle opening the door to see a familiar fox face looking back at him. Wearing a light purple see-through nightgown that exposes the stylish black bra and panties.

“Hello Cory, I do hope you don't beat from eating all that food with what I got planned for you tonight.”
